Rick that was working the self checkout the morning of April 4th 2024. Was so nice and helpful. I was there to get a few things and seen the Easter Eggs were on sale so I got a bunch. When Rick found out I was buying them to do an Easter egg hunt next year for the kids at church. He paid for the eggs and everything else I had in my cart. He is an amazing guy. Thanks so much Rick. What you did is greatly appreciated. Because Rick did that I was able to go and get more eggs with the money I planned to spend.

This place is gross and unclean, alot of non English speaking staff, can never get assistance but yet they'll breathe down your neck at self checkout. Management is a complete joke. Need to reiterate their hiring process and get people that clean the nasty place. Food is rotten and left in the produce, absolutely disgusting

I have been to many different Walmart locations and the one in Willmar Minnesota is by far the worst. Most of the employees are rude, they expect you to get out of their way and if you don’t they will just run into you. The online shoppers are trained to be intrusive, when you are looking for something they will push that tall cart in front of you and stop and they are in every aisle, sometimes 2 or 3 of them. There are so many employees wondering around constantly in your way it is truly a nightmare to shop there. When ever I end up there I always reduce my list so I can get out faster. I usually avoid this Walmart but still end up there sometimes. I’m thinking Aldi’s from now on it’s just across the street.

Large easy in and out parking lot off of 71. (Google Maps helped navigate the way). Found office supplies, they had what I wanted and was out of the store in 11 min.

Terrible place, they killed this city when they turned it into a super Walmart and still to this day this particular location operates like $#*%. Many many many rows of checkouts never open ever, maybe 2 will open up during busy hours but that's not enough for the volume of people in the store so it's always a mess. they have small self checkouts but they are always clogged with people buying multiple carts worth of items so regardless it still moves very very slowly. During busy hours expect it to take nearly an hour to leave the store if you only need one quick item.There are always employees with carts picking out items from the aisles for online shopping which gets in the way big time, they are generally courteous this problem isn't their fault I blame it on Walmart for having a terrible method for online shopping. (seriously it's about time you guys have a backroom with better organized products just for this service, it would be faster and not in the costumers way.) this current system also gives priority to online shoppers over in store shoppers so there are products like certain hot sauces you can almost never get in store anymore because they're picked from online before most store shoppers even get a chance (one time in the morning I saw one of these employees put almost all of one product into their cart, not all of us customers are able to make it to the store in the morning right after it's stocked, online shoppers make this worse.)Nearly everything isn't stocked correctly and I'm talking everything, swing by the pet or home sections especially and it's very apparent that the items aren't getting stocked correctly, items still in their shipping boxes sitting on the shelves along with many many items not in their proper spots so finding the price on anything is nearly impossible unless you have their app but I shouldn't need a app to tell me the price of a product... I should be able to see it clearly on the shelf.The amount of employees walking around doing nothing throughout store day or night is unreal for a location with this many problems. I hear the workers here actually get paid a decent wage but the actual work reflects otherwise so the problems probably stem from the leads/management more than anything, the person who runs this location should be ashamed but they're probably sitting on more corpo cash than their employees will ever see in their lives so I can see how they wouldn't actually care about their assets as long as it makes them the eddies. This place is down right sad but I guess that reflects corporate society and the rest of this drug ridden city in 2023

My spouse worked here was harassed daily by their supervisor. After they left the same supervisor kept asking their new coworkers about them or attempts converse with them any time they are seen in store. Feels like a toxic ex that doesn't know when to stop. Will not be shopping here.

The Willmar Walmart is not my favorite place to shop. I think the employee’s don’t care about what they’re doing and would rather take out their miserable lives at work on customers. It’s unfortunate that at one point, this Walmart used to be 24/7 and nowadays it’s closed at 11pm. I think the corporation of Walmart needs to make better changes for their employees so most of them would stop hating what they do as well as have better customer care. I used to go to Walmart more often, but after a bad experience I try to go only when necessary. The bad experience in question being I was trying to return something and a tall guy at customer service kept arguing with me saying it wouldn’t work without even scanning the receipt. When he finally scanned it, then he acted all surprised and didn’t even apologize. To me, it just shows me how most employees don’t actually care for their customers and would rather argue or become hostile. If you go to the Willmar Walmart, be sure to just go in, get what you need, and get out as fast as you can. The Willmar Walmart is also located in a town with a lot of drug related crimes or theft so that’s why everything important is locked up in the store.

Most employers were either rude or ignored us. I was not impressed. I needed help finding stuff and no one could be found. Upon checking out there was a woman that was actually working and not walking around aimlessly. She was polite and engaging. I made sure to tell her so as her co workers seemed to lack a good work ethic.

So we had to go to Walmart because the other place we usually go is under construction. It was fine until it was time to cash out and there's no actual cashiers to help you. Also while we were cashing out and all of our groceries were already bagged up and put into our cart we were trying to pay and they took coffee off the list of acceptable items for EBT. No explanation why and the employees had no idea for the change. We had to stand at the checkout for an extra 20 minutes after trying to pay before the situation was even starting to be resolved. First, they started saying that they have never accepted that kind of coffee with food stamps or ebt. Which, I get that kind of coffee all the time and so does a friend of mine that is also on EBT. So for it just to change and the employees not to know about it is frustrating. I think that there should be more communication with the headquarters of Walmart and their stores. This is the picture of the coffee that I tried to buy via food stamps last night but was not able to even though I have bought it every single time I've gone shopping while using food stamps. We don't use food stamps every time but when we have them we use them. Coffee should be still considered a food item. This was very upsetting only for the fact that we were trying to rush home and we had to spend an extra 45 minutes at the store. The manager tried to help but in the end the only thing that was said... We don't have an answer.

Absolutely disgusted. Im not one to review places but my father bought a 10lb bag of russet potatoes just yesterday. 10/15/23 and it was completely molded and the potatoes were sprouting really badly. One collapsed in on itself. Be very vigilant if you plan on buying produce from this Walmart. Unfortunately I know it won't change, As I have worked at a Walmart before. And based on how the rest of the store tends to be they most likely don't care.

This Walmart in particular is actually good. Like the employees are actually nice without attitude. I'm happy about this one. It only get a 4 star cause it easier for people to see this and not think it's fake.

All of the scan and go check-outs were closed. There were only four cashiers that were opened. It took me longer to check out than it did with my shopping! Not good!

This Walmart sucks. Apparently it's more important to have several workers standing around watching people check themselves out at the self checkout, which they have tons of those too but only have limited ones open! It must be nice to get paid to stand around and watch people check themselves out, just for you to get stopped at the door so they can check your receipt. I hate this walmart!

Felt like I was a theft for keeping my things separated from my roommates ebt purchases. The lady at the self check out also reprinted my roommates ebt receipt. They both didn't do it to anyone else or harassed anyone but us.

The customer service is absolutely lacking even among management. Several managers all gathered together at the customer service desk could not understand or solve my issue so it required me to go get the item I had purchased just to prove they sold it in the store. I had suggested several times that they either go back and look on the shelf or that I could go back and get it to show them. They refused this idea and kept demanding that they didn't sell it in the store and that I was lying about buying it there. Finally I just tell them that I am going back to get it myself to prove they sold it there. Then when I brought it back they didn't even so much as apologize but simply quickly dispersed in shame and defeat. Saddest example of customer service I have ever seen. And these were many of the people in what I imagine was upper management

The floors in the grocery side are absolutely horrible - they're dirty with trash all over the place. Additionally, the online order pickers constantly leave their carts, blocking the aisle, while they walk down the aisle to pick an item.

It's not the greatest honestly because ever since somulans came here well it's seems like it's all somulans and no white people as far as workers I'm not being racist or anything it's just Walmart has become ridiculous idk
