I'm always impressed by the staff at the PetSmart in Willmar. Today I made an emergency run to town to get filters for our family's fish tank. I got helped right away and was happy to find what I needed so we can keep our fish alive. Never a dull moment owning pets. Thank you PetSmart for all the help!

I brought my husky, Beau, in today to be groomed. They did a wonderful job with him and he came walking out of the grooming area wearing the cutest bandana! He smells and feels so good. When I was checking him in the woman was very thorough with her questions making sure Beau was groomed exactly how I wanted. Their prices cannot be beat either which is another plus. Beau will be back for more grooming appointments when needed :)

I've had my dog Jimmy for over 2 years now, and I've always taken him into the PetSmart in Hutchinson. However, the last time I took him there for grooming, he wouldn't let the new groomers touch him. Personally, I think both young groomers were stoned, and Jimmy didn't trust either one. So we tried the PetSmart in Willmar and didn't have the problems here that we had in Hutchinson. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here to get Jimmy groomed again.

As an aquarium hobbyist I really appreciate that the people here always ask about tank sized people plan to use, and give good fish-keeping advice. We know what we’re doing, but many people walking in to get fish don’t!

I have gone to our local pet smart from the day it opened. The last time I went was so frustrating. We came in for fish. It was the person that helped us first time getting fish. She informed us that the 1 and 1/2 inch oscar could be in a tank any smaller than 40 gallons. I in turn mentioned that is when they are larger and we intend to moved them to a larger tank. We had just purchased a 30 gallon tank . She said we couldn't get fish for that tank. We in turn told her we where putting fish in our other tank till the new one got adjusted. So we proceeded to buy fish. As we are checking ou she whispers something to cashier then as cashier gets receipt places under counter and writes on it folds it and hands it to me. I walk out read the receipt, she wrote no refunds on it. Asides the fish I purchased over 200$ worth of merchandise. So I returned ed upset and asked why. Asked for manager Anthony he said he heard us say we had new tank and if fish die I cant return them. I told him i have several tanks set up. And if that was the case why would they be whispering and hiding the writing on the receipt. Completely being underhanded. He say i erase it and that is what he can do. I told him if they had told me directly I wouldn't of been upset but all the sneaky behavior was wrong. And they only heard part of what was going on. Very very wrong. Made us feel like criminals.

I love going here staff is always friendly this last time was the best as the lady in the fish department went above and beyond to help me. I had to use my crutches that day and wanted to surprise my husband with some fish. Not only did she bring them to the register for me she also asked another customer to wait so she could help me by carrying the fish to the truck for me which she did. I hope they keep up this customer service in the future.

If you have pit bulls they discriminate against them. Used to come here to get my dogs nails cut, worker told me to get anxiety meds because she gets stressed while they cut her nails so we did that and gave her the medicine then they told us they couldn’t do it because she’s stressed. She proceeded to say that they know she’s not aggressive and wouldn’t bite anyone. Kenzie also thinks it’s okay to drug my dog for no reason, and that “it won’t hurt her”. I’m not trying to give my dog medication for no reason she is barley even 1 years old. Of course she is a little more hyper than older dogs. I will not be coming back to this location they are lazy and don’t know what they are doing. Tell u to medicate your dogs for a simple 5 min nail trim and not take them in

The workers don’t understand there promotions. And the manager just says well there is nothing I can do about.1- learn customer service2- teach your staff3- honor what they said.Not impressed

Great options for dog toys/cute clothing. We take our Shih Tzu to get groomed here sometimes because our dog is treated well and she looks really nice after her haircut. Love the pet rewards program too.

It has been a challenge to find wet food in Fancy Feast due to shipping and can shortage. All stores near me have either NO cans or NO selection. When we were out and about I saw this store and stopped not expecting to find a very generous supply AND selection of variety. Though I probably won't go 100 miles to get pet food, if I am in the area again, I will definitely stop. Thanks to the great cashiers also! They were great!

This was our first time at Petsmart for grooming! So this dog mama was a little nervous, but Alex who groomed Sadie Mae and spoke with us over the phone, did an outstanding job!!!!!! I was told 3-4 hours but after 1 1/2 hours she was pampered and done!!! I would highly recommend Alex!! ❤️ Thank you!!! ❤️ We will be back!!! The other staff were so great too!!!! ❤️

Holy crud! You would not believe how cute the animals are whenever you walk into the doors! I'll admit, I'd wanna take them home every single time, but I know that they'd be better off with a better family. It just shows that they have a good eye for animals!Concerning the workers and building, the workers are phenomenal in what they do, including the grooming staff! We bring our Goldendoodle, Aurora (they might know her) in every so often to get her groomed up and when she comes back, she's as adorable as ever!I know that this place isn't the best place in the world to buy pet products, knowing that they are too expensive depending on the brand, but I'm glad that PetSmart finally got a spotlight in Willmar!There was a time where I wanted to bring home a fish, but the price of the tanks were astronomically large. Well, I guess it depends again on what brand you're looking for. I'd go with a smaller one. There was this one fish I found that kept looking at me through the glass! Actually, it was a turtle and a few fish. Those cute little eyes made me want to take them home! This review may be a little long, but that just shows that I have a lot to say! You guys are amazing as a pet store! Keep up the great work!- Samantha

I took my mom's dog here to get groomed. He regularly gets growly and snippy when he is groomed and I have been turned away from some groomers who feel unable to safely handle him. PetSmart was able to safely groom him without muzzles or medication and I was very pleased with their work.

couple weeks ago, i went in to the closest pet store to us, bought 5 really expensive fish, died within 4 hours of having them, we did everything correctly as they told us to do... we thankfully got a refund that night they died. they weren’t the nicest when we came in asking for a refund. when we got there, they tested our water that was in our fish tank, and told us the PH level was really low, and it should be higher. so we waited for 2 weeks for our tank to get ready more, when our tank was already sitting there being taken care of with no fish in it, which whatever. we went back today, got more of those same exact fish. the worker was completely rude to us and very disrespectful... not very happy with their service. suggest going to a different petsmart!

They carry almost everything you need , but usually don't have a few items when trying to set up new enclosures for reptiles or fish. Current staff are very polite vs old employees . Manager , he is very helpful.
