My 3 year old Grandaughter & I had a great experience staying at the Wheaton Inn. Check in was very quick & easy. Room was clean & the beds are comfortable. Wifi is provided. Rooms have TV, fridge, microwave, shampoo & body soap. Very reasonably priced. Staff is very nice & friendly. When we were checking out they even gave my Granddaughter a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal and she loved it so much & as we were driving away she told me she can't wait to come back to the office. Thanks for the great visit! We have family in the area so we'll definitely be back to visit again soon and I won't hesitate to stay at the Wheaton Inn in the future.

If your passing thru and tired this is an awesome little spot. Room's are clean & cheap with an old School environment,water pressure is perfect,Staff is great,there pet friendly & have semi parking!Food & drinks: American Legion is across the street dining is open to public. Subway and Dollar General are next door.

Not fancy but it was all we needed. No frills, no muss, no fuss so keep expectations low and we were happy with #9! Hot water, fridge, microwave, clean beds, and towels. Property could use some updating but outside lighting was good. Exactly what we needed, where we needed and when we needed.Rooms: Absolutely nothing fancy but room #9 had everything work.Nearby activities: We weee there for a bike ride and worked perfectly for our needs.

I went 3 days without an air conditioner, after owner drilled a hole in it. Water ran over the plug in from the air conditioner. He was too cheap to change it out.If you pay 50.00 for a room and have to sleep with the door open so I wouldn't die that's pretty messed up. The window was painted shut and wouldn't open.

My mom is from Wheaton, so when we always come to visit this is always it. We love the place always was nice and staff were always friendly. If you are into more fancy than homey feel this isn’t your place. Not that it’s old or run down it’s just a place of comfort and simple. I am glad that when I came yesterday to Wheaton that it’s still there and even changed color. It has been a while and since I didn’t stay this time around didn’t need a room. Can’t wait to come back soon to get a room and see what else has changed with the place. Love this place overall and hope everyone loves it as much as we do. I know I’ve been wanting to leave them a review for a long time glad I got to. I hope you all give them a good rating and have a great time staying as we do.

Our room was clean and the shower was hot, so you have your basics. The property itself could use some updating. Our most recent stay, there was a "for sale" sign on the property, so I'm not sure what the future holds for this hotel.

The rooms may need updating, but they are clean. The bed was comfortable, with 4 pillows. The water in shower is hot, with great water pressure. Friendly, helpful staff.

Wheaton Inn was a blessing💜 we ended up traveling out there to visit a friend and were able to reserve the hot tub suite. It exceeded all expectation. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and much bigger than we expected and included fridge and microwave. Free wifi and competitive rates. Ironically that place is where my family intends on going each time we travel that way.

I liked the town but not the motelThe motel power kept shutting of and it’s super cold around this time so I have been waking up to no heat nor power and on top of that the place is cover with black mold this place should be shut down I talked to the owner and he said he knows and can’t do anything about it I would not recommend staying here

Only thing around and it's cheap. There is one room with no window I hate that one. Old tvs so don't expect to hook anything up to it. Tiny bathrooms with showers only. Toilet paper is cheapest you will find, we usually get some from the near by dollar store. Behind hotel is a elementary playground and the bowling alley is also close. Beds are thin and lumpy and bedding leaves much to be desired but they do allow dogs. Fridge and microwave in rooms. No ice machine

Very affordable clean beds with TV mini fridge and a microwave. Rooms are a bit dated. Great water pressure nice hot shower. Open 7am till 11pm.

This is a great place to stay. you can even get a hot breakfast delivered in the early a. m. hours. this is great for me and the guys because we are up at 5am and nothing is open yet. Talk about convenience after work they can deliver a home cooked meal for dinner. Just talk to the manager there and she can make it happen for you. Enjoy your stay.

Overall staying here was an enriching experience at least. At $55/night for two queens regardless of occupants it's pretty darn cheap but for not much more you can stay in a nice chain hotel nearby with free breakfast. With that kind of budget and the light traffic of this tiny town I don't see how this place could ever really change anything.On the up side it's pet-friendly, has cable TV, free wifi, hot water, locks on the doors, air conditioning, no bed bugs, and a pop machine across the street with cans for 50 cents each.On the down side our room smelled very musty and also like someone spilled an entire 50 cent can of Doctor Pepper on the floor and it never got cleaned. I had to put my shoulder into the bathroom door to get it to open or close. The bed frames moaned like the walking dead with the slightest movement. And the management is either unwilling or unable to offer refunds should you need to flake out on your second night as I had to do.

The manager is rude. When I asked her to clean our disgusting room she told me to get the vacuum out of the laundry room and do it myself. This filthy place is probably in violation of some health codes. Their was even dog hair in my refrigerator. She then tried to rip us off. Stay away from this place.

It provided a clean bathroom and supportive mattress. I had biked 100 miles that day. My needs are basic. Nothing fancy. It served the purpose for a moderate cost.

Stayed here a few weeks while working nearby. Older place but well kept. Owner is helpful and even shoveled a path to my pickup door after recent snow ...in mid-APRIL !

This is is a nice little spot off the highway... The room was is good condition and the bed was extremely comfortable... And the rate was very affordable... We got in late at night during a blizzard so that increases the positivity of this review.

We rented the king bed suite. We knew the hot tub was not working when we booked the room. The hot tub still had water in it and the power would turn on to heat the water every hour or so. We did not know that the fireplace did not work nor that only 1 of the 2 thermostats worked. We talked to the owner/manager and he would not refund a portion of the fee. We will be driving the 40 minutes or so to stay somewhere else when visiting our friends.
