A bit farther out from the cities. We went as they were hosting a dog day. A day wristband for $5 includes apple picking, wagon ride, corn maze and seeing small farm animals. Apples are per lbs and include honey crisp, McIntosh, sweet 16, honey golden. There's pumpkin patch as well. The main orchard is a bit farther out than the main entrance so it's better to take the wagon ride.A small store that has pre picked apples, pies, honey and jams. People were nice. Not a bad place to spend a day with the family esp if you hace little kids.

I will never go anywhere else! This is the best apple farm I have ever been to, and my family has tried quite a few in the south metro. Do not be lead astray by the negative reviews. This farm is owned by a veteran and his family. They are all so nice and are a joy to be around. They truly care about their customers. We have gone to this orchard the last 5 years and have no plans of switching and no complaints. There is a homey feel to the store that reminds you of grandma's house and the farm itself has some great scenery. You can purchase pre-bagged apples, candy( mainly caramel and chocolate), syrup, honey, cheese, pies, trinkets, and more. They offer a tractor pulled wagon ride, animal feeding and petting, yard games, corn maze, and pick your own apples and pumpkins. There is a fee if you are planning on doing other activities beside apple picking. It is called the "all activity pass." It costs $6 per adult and $4 per child from ages 2 to 12.If you choose to pick your own apples you pay $2 per pound per apples, unless they are honeycrisp then you pay $2.50 per pound. The supply of apples is HUGE! What is up front is only the beginning as they also have a large amount of apple acreage away from the main road you can ride the wagon to. There are very clean porta-potties on site as well.I can't say enough about this place and this family. So many great memories here in a short time. We will be back next year... and every other year after that.UPDATE!!! - We were back this year... Still love it! Going back next year too! Decided I would post some pics.

Great experience for the family. The staff really takes the time to teach you about the different varieties that they have. The apple dandies are an amazing treat.

Very nice orchard. Quieter than others closer to the cities, which is nice. Several fields to choose from with a large variety of apples. Few activities to do, but not like other very busy places.

my favorite apple orchard, probably out of tradition but also the no frills pick your own aspect. cute little store has lots of great stuff and offers samples, the owners are very welcoming and offer advice on which apples you want. small operation but it’s never too busy like some places. will keep coming here every year!

Good location but the apples were overpriced. $12 for a 3lb. bag of Sweet Tango apples that had about 8 apples in it! And then they didn't taste as good as those I've had from other orchards. I won't be stopping again.

Great variety for pick your own and enjoyed our visit. Lots of honeycrisps still available in early October! Great for couples or families that don’t need/want the touristy experience of a larger apple orchard but still want to enjoy petting some animals, drinking some cider, and picking apples. I hear the tree cutting is good too for Christmas trees!

The apples are large and tasty. The older lady there was very helpful and knowledgeable. However, on the "hay ride" it was not clear just how expensive the u-pick them apples were. When we got back to the store and found out that a bag of apples was nearly $50, we decided to not buy them. The younger woman at the counter told us we had no choice but to buy them and wasn't very nice about it, either.Next Fall we'll go to one of the many other choices of apple orchards.

Friendly People and very good quality apple pies! An added bonus is they allow you to walk your dog out near the apple trees so you can get all your fall themed pictures here!

We had a wonderful experience at Nelson's Apple Farm. Affordable, with plenty of activities for our 3 kids to enjoy. The apples were delicious and baked well when we made some apple crisp when we returned home. Looking forward to visiting again!

We had a birthday party here, it was an absolute scam. They were very unclear since the beginning made us think that just the kids at the party would pay. The adults just went along. They had 2 goats and a baby cow. Few chickens. You had to pay to feed them. A short ride with the tractor, a walk by ourselves in the corn maze. We got 5 apples for each kid.At the end they made us pay for everybody kids and adults no matter the age, even if they just literally looked. 170$ We are very unhappy even more when the day before we did exactly the same thing at other apple farm "applewood" Lakeville And the experience was a lot better they even prepared a carp and table for the party with a reserve sign for 45$ same amount of people. I don’t usually write reviews and if I do is for excellence but today I was extremely disappointed.

Besides the orchard, they have a nice little farm petting area and a nice little gift shop. You can stroll the grounds and enjoy a bench with a view. Many different types of beautiful apples from which to choose.
