We love WOOFington and trust them 100% with our fur baby ❤️ our Yorkie loves it too. When we pick him up, he pulls at the leash to go back in. It’s so nice to know that when we travel, our pup has a place to go to that he loves.

This place is great. Exactly what we were looking for for our small dogs. We have only been for daycare though love having them as an option for boarding should we need it. A few things I don’t love is why I didn’t give 5 stars:Too many dogs in a small space. I know this is the issue with every doggy daycare but even with small pups there’s just not enough space for them to run around and play. Most of the dogs remain fairly stationary. They’d be smart to take up half the parking lot that is never busy and create a better outdoor area.They have nap time between 11-1 which seems pretty long for isolation when 2 hours of a typical 6-8 hour daycare day is spent alone. This also means for two hours you don’t have eyes on your pups as they don’t have cameras in those spaces.They should have an online booking system. You have to call or email to reserve dates and they give no confirmation or reminder emails. I wish they had an online portal with profiles for your pets where you can buy packages, reserve dates, see history, update billing info, etc. this seems like a no brainer in 2022???But still we are SO happy we found this place. That staff is so friendly and obviously all love dogs. It makes my heart sing when I see an employee show my dogs individual attention.I hope they expand closer to the cities soon! Driving from saint Louis park sucks and I know they’d do so well in this area! Fingers crossed.

I can only speak on the grooming part of this place, that being said I am Never having my dog groomed here again! This was by far the fastest grooming appointment ever and I know why now! First, he was shaved down without notice to me, to see if I was okay with it. Second, I specifically said not to clean/do the ears or anal glands because he had just had them done at the vet and it would be too much for him but they did them anyway. Thirdly, she didn’t trim his nails properly but went too short and clearly cut so short his paws were sore and sensitive to touch. His face had irritation from possibly a hot trimmer, as well as his balls( they were beyond red, like tomato red). Forth, they failed to mention that choosing hypoallergenic shampoo would be more but instead waited to charge extra at the time of pick up (I don’t have a problem paying extra if needed but it would have been nice to know what things might change the price).At initial booking they gave me a flat rate of $90 dollars ( highly expensive price for a small dog), without any mention of extra fees. I will be looking for a different groomer.

We recently started brining our pup to the Woofington to be groomed and we couldn’t be happier! Heather is great, we showed her pictures of how we wanted our pup cut and he came out absolutely perfect! Highly recommend!

*over protective dog mom here*The staff here are amazing! I hate leaving my dog when I go on vacation but I know he’s in the best hands! They have options for boarding rooms with cameras so it’s comforting knowing I could check on him at any point in time to see how he was doing. Their communication is amazing! My dog didn’t eat much but they tried everything to get him to eat and reached out to me to make sure it was okay to feed his certain foods. They really take the time to get to know your animals and attend to their needs! Definitely bringing my dog back to Woofington again!

We have been using Woofington for years and love them! We drive over an hour because they are the only ones we trust with our small pups. The staff is kind and caring. I like that my pups get to play with other small dogs during the day with a break midday. It’s always fun to watch them on camera playing and having a great time when we are out of town. I have been taking my 2 Cairn Terriers to Woofington for the last couple years and I'm so impressed with the care and attention they get. They look great and seem to have a pleasant experience.We recently lost one of our dogs to cancer, and every one there was so sympathetic.My husband and I are going for a one day trip to a party in Northern Wisconsin and although I never considered putting our little girl Sammy in a kennel after researching Wolfington and seeing the accommodations we decided to try it. They did a test run at the day care and Sammy loved it! Her room for overnight will have a bed with her own TV. They have story time before bed which is so cool! The best part is I can watch her remotely whenever I want! So cool!Although she hasn't stayed there yet I feel so good about leaving our little princess.Thank you Woofington for your posh place, good prices and only 5 minutes from our house!

Was going to try this place out but after reading the latest reviews and there your response I wouldn’t want them to even get close to my dog, also maybe who ever is in charge of the comments should need customer service training.

We initially liked Woofington due to their focus on smaller breeds and proximity to our home even though the staff can be somewhat rude. However, after a few visits daycare seemed to get more and more crowded and our dog came home shaking and seemed traumatized every time. When we’d check on him via the cameras he was always alone or waiting by the door to go outside. Our final straw was his first grooming appointment there today. It was by far the worst haircut I’ve seen on a small dog. Extremely choppy and uneven. And upon pickup it took an extremely long time to find him, they brought us the wrong leash, and asked if it was for sure him because they were unsure. We also brought special treats with because he has allergies and he has had tummy troubles all night so I’m assuming they were not used. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. We are very hesitant to go back.Update: he has an infected nail that has poked into his paw and he is struggling to walk from the improper nail trim he was given. Please do not ever subject your furbaby to this place.

Woofington has been the very best place for my two boys Jagger and Bowie. They love the staff, I love the staff! They’re truly part of our family and my dogs are so excited for their 3/4 day a week visit! They are so loved and it gives me great peace of mind. Thank you Woofington!!

My pup has been coming to Woofington for close to 6 or so years now. Harvey's now 7 years old. He boards several times per year, and daycares 2 - 3x per week usually. This is Hav's second home away from home. He gets plenty of attention in and out of daycare from passing quick pets, to some lap time, and a little chase. He is a part of the pack, and loves the inside to outside time that the staff rotate throughout the day - rain, snow, or shine. The dogs have plenty of room to roam around, be by themselves in a corner, snuggle with other doggos on a perch with a blanket, or be by humans sitting on a chair or bench. I never worry about him when I drop him off, as I know the owners and resort leads have a "program" that they stick to. With 1 on 1 time, they know the dogs, and their behaviors and accommodate the guests. We always appreciate the love and safety they provide.Thanks to the management and staff for knowing what they do isn't just a "job," but is a responsibility, and know our dogs are members of the family.

My two miniature dachshunds absolutely LOVE it here. They run right back when I drop them off! The staff is very friendly and organized. They know Georgia and Banks by name and really truly love animals - cuddles, play time, you name it. This is what we were missing at other boarding facilities. They really do put my mind at ease when I have to board my two babies!

This is a first-class, unique facility—from customer service to lodging! I was very excited to book my small beagle at Woofington over the Christmas holiday. The fact that she is a rescue dog didn't seem to deter them even a bit. They were very welcoming. I had some last-minute changes dealing with her stay and they proved to be very flexible, all while remaining wonderfully pleasant. I feel very fortunate that this luxury lodge is located in my neighborhood, but even if it wasn't, it certainly would be worth the drive from anywhere in the metro!

I am so, so glad that the Woofington exists. It's somewhat of a hike for us driving from downtown Minneapolis out to Orono, but is 100% worth it for boarding.We have a 11lb mini dachshund and while we've had positive experiences with the daycare a few minutes away - it does make me anxious that he's constantly trying to keep up with / playing on structures intended for larger dogs - especially with the breed's sensitive back.The play group at Woofington seem slightly larger than what we've seen at our other facility, but all of the dogs are <25lbs and our dog seems to love it! The first day, he did not want to leave, and subsequently, he's always been excited to go. Our dog is especially obsessed with Colin - but everyone we've met at the facility has been terrific and seems to genuinely love dogs. I also appreciate that they're open on Saturdays instead of just M-F.We've gone to the Woofington now for an occasional daycare, an overnight board, and just wrapped up a longer 4 day / 3 night board. I had a lot of anxiety about how tired our dog would be from a multi-day boarding experience, but we picked him yesterday and he seemed very well taken care of, happy but if anything - a little annoyed that mom and dad are BORING in comparison to his pals at Woofington. :)

Great place for bathing & grooming small dogs. Woofington is always personable and has excellent care/treatment for our dogs! I would highly recommend this place for anyone around the lake Minnetonka who is looking to have their dog(s) bathed & groomed!

Perfect place for your little, furry, family. The employees are so kind. They spend so much time petting and picking up the dogs daily. I would never hesitate to bring my puppies back and would never choose another doggy daycare.

More then 5 stars to the Woofington! I was extremely impressed with the clean facility and very kind staff. I appreciated the bath they gave her before pick up. I felt so comfortable leaving my Little Missy there for boarding and daycare. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to board. Thank you for taking such good care of my dog.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The suites for the pups are perfect for little pups. The only part I would change is to have smaller groups of dogs instead of there being a big group thrown together of all the pups. My pup and myself weren't crazy about 20+ dogs all together in one area at a time.Other than the large group..the rest was very nice.

Can't imagine taking Winston anywhere else! I'm very protective of my 9 month old pup and wanted to make sure he was in great hands for my weekend away from him.. was he ever! Winston got care and compassion that I haven't seen at any other boarding/daycare facility! I checked the cameras (perfect quality) and I always saw the staff interacting with the dogs (playing fetch, treats into the ball pit, water play, giving them cuddles). Most daycare facilities put them in a pen and let them wander around and find their own entertainment. The Woofington staff are always playing with the dogs. Not only did I see that he was in great care, but when I picked him up on Sunday, he fell asleep on my lap before we even left the parking lot. Thank you for giving Winston such a great experience. I am so glad he spent his first weekend away with you!

Wow words can’t even describe how amazing the Woofington is and their staff! If I could give them 100 stars I would! The first day I sent my dog he was scared and shy but by the second day he did a complete 360 and now he is the confident playful pup at daycare! The staff made sure he felt comfortable and loved and now the Woofington is his favorite place to go! Marty is incredibly grateful he now has a safe place to play and get his zoomies out and I’m even more grateful to have a daycare that takes such great care of him!

If you wanna bring your dogs to be most beautiful doggie hotel that I would equate to the W hotel in downtown Minneapolis then take your puppies here. The Penthouse suite is to die for.l They each have their own TV. They socialize they eat freshly prepared meals and the staff is absolutely the most wonderful dog loving people that you've ever met. This place is actually owned by a very dear friend of mine and they have done very well and they work very hard and it's locally owned.

My pups went here for a trial day for boarding next spring. 2 super skittish dogs had the best time. Great spot for small dogs. They were so loved and cared for during their trial day that I have no concerns when we go out of town.

Just a note to thank Colin for being so nice to my pup during her stay last week. I watched her on the webcam and could see she was following him around all afternoon. He let her sit next to him and petted her frequently and even lifted her over the room divider so she could happily be near him when they were separated. I really appreciate the way she was treated because she always stays close to me because that’s what her breed does. We’ll be back!

Wonderful staff that share a love and passion for pups that is obvious from the moment you walk in the door. The facility is always in pristine condition and so clean you wouldn't even know it is a place for dogs. 2 wonderful groomers. Would give 10 stars if I could. Love this place!!!

Our Tula Belle has started to go to 1/2 daycare and just did a Christmas 2 day stay! She is so cared for and the staff is fantastic!! Never liked boarding my pups but I have no reasons not to hear... I feel so comfortable as Tula Belle is.

Our senior, eight pound dog with special medical needs was treated like royalty during her eight nights at Woofington Luxury Dog Resort and Spa. Although our family was looking forward to a long-anticipated family reunion out of state, that joy was dampened by the fact that the lodging was not pet-friendly and we'd have to board our girl. Past stays at other kennels have been extremely stressful for our little dog, in part because she's intimidated by big dogs. So, we chose Woofington, since only small dogs are allowed to "check in." She was lavished with personal attention and was spared the stress of larger dogs. We even received texts with updates and photos from the owners/innkeepers, Mike and Lisa! With three vet techs on staff, we also felt reassured that our sweet old girl would be well-cared for should there be a medical emergency. She was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when I picked her up. The "resort" itself is immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with chandeliers and soothing water features. You will feel great about leaving your little canine friend here. If she could, our dog (and we) would give Woofington ten stars instead of five! Thanks to all of the Woofington Staff for a wonderful stay!
