Overpriced, some to the extreme like the cakes. Even Trader Joes which is all organic is cheaper. If you are of certain kind, workers stare at you. Not with the majority let's just say. Especially during check out. Can't keep their eyes off of you. Not once a "thank you" or "thank you for shopping with us". Not even the managers, even if they are standing right at exit check out. I even yell a few times as I am walking out "have a good day" with no response. I have spoke to one of the managers about the prejudice behavior and also did feedback from the reciept and requested a call back I believe to no response unfortunately. I shop here very often because of the near vicinity/convenience, otherwise I would not shop here. The other Lunds on Plymouth I shopped there once and had similar experience. I would give it a 2 and a half stars. (No option on here for selecting "half"). The cakes here are beautiful and selection of hot food items are good too. Caribou closes too early. I noticed they finally started hiring more of a diverse crowd at Lunds. Could possibly be complaints or fitting their quotas. Who knows.

Great deli; fruits and vegetables are always sorted to enjoy great quality products; meats are regularly viewed for high quality; organized and well-marked isles to find product you are looking for; and refrigerated product fresh and with current/good dates.

My wife got banned by the manager for having a metal clip in her hair and the detector went off.And she said that she was being followed like a criminal in the store. That is so unfair. She always go to this store during her lunch break and now because of this bogus mess she has been banned. Be aware I felt like that was a discriminating act.

Amazing cake decorations jump right out at you- We couldn't be any more delighted with the beautiful 3D Frog cake the baker made for us. It was a hit with the kids and adults too. Of course it tasted amazing as well.

Clean bathrooms. Parking lot is easy to get into, but can be a bit tricky to exit if you want to go east.

I don’t like the new so-called Big Bowl because they have removed some foods like kung pao chicken and beef & broccoli I really love to eat every time. Each time I went to see what they made. Some are very dry and others are okay but not the same.I tried to go to the other L&Bs and I hoped to see nothing is change at Big Bowl. HOWEVER!!! I decided to stop buying foods from there when I saw that they changed all different foods and removed some foods at Big Bowl.I want to see and eat kung pao chicken and beef & broccoli back again immediately!!!!!!!

Lunds rarely disappoints. The bakery selections here are phenomenal and I drive to this location to pick up some favorite mini bakery deliciousness. Fresh produce and frozen items are always stocked, also love that the cheese section is pretty large.

Nice store, easy parking, good hot-bar selection. I stop here once in a while when working in the area. During my last visit, I was going through the self-checkout. Ringing up and bagging my 3 or 4 items. I politely asked an older woman with glasses if I could have a rubber band to secure my soup lid. She says in an annoyed manner and look of disdain on her face "Well you have to pay for your things first". Insinuating I'm attempting to shoplift apparently when I obviously wasn't. Had wallet and card out already, about to pay. Might have looked a little dirty from working construction all day but there should have been no confusion about what I was doing, at all. As my receipt was printing, I said in a friendly but sarcastic tone "Oh really, you mean people have to pay for things at this Lunds". Shook my head as she handed me a rubber band finally. Bad experience for sure. Good soup though.

Ordered a 1 year old birthday cake for my daughter’s “Hole in One” and it turned out amazing! The bakery took my request from my online order and did an great job! However, I wish I would’ve gotten a side smash cake with it, but didn’t know I could ask!

Great selection, and friendly staff. Always impressed by their cheese and charcuterie selection! Fresh good produce, and I love exploring and finding the unique fruits they bring in on occasion. Especially these days, it feels like a mini adventure.Also pleased they have quality Sushi available now. Though the prices have gone up a fair amount, and they do a bit too much fried sushi, you can often still find a good fresh selection there as well.Additional, I am extremely happy with their meat and seafood selection. Having everything from lamb to to mackerel, it's great to see a variety. I would love to see bison offered a bit more.And last, but definitely not least, I love the staff at the front. In the years I have gone there, I cannot recall a negative experience. The cashiers are almost always friendly and polite, with another staff member on standby to bag your groceries for you. This is the final piece to the puzzle that keeps me coming back. Equally, if not more, important as the rest.

I love this grocery store!! I wish we had one in Maple Plain! However, Wayzata is only a hop skip and a jump from Maple Plain. This store has everything one needs from Sushi to candy!! They even take your groceries to your car!!! Check it out the next time you're in Wayzata.

Nice grocery store if you don't mind sky high prices.Of course it's a far cry from the original Byerleys store in Saint Louis Park in the 70s that had a jewelry store, where you could buy a diamond ring to go with your steak. That arrangement came in handy if you wanted to propose marriage, and you could get the ring and the food all in one stop shopping.Now the groceries cost almost as much as much as the jewels.I guess these are just musings of an old man.Carry on.

I would give this store a 5 star review if it was based solely on the employees that work there or the quality of the food. However, this location in particular is engaging in price gouging practices and is the most expensive location to shop. Pricing is inconsistent among store locations. I went to buy beef tenderlion for Valentines (one of the only times I buy this cut). At the Wayzata store the price went from $24.99 lb to $46.99 lb overnight! I looked at the Edina store today and its $44.99. Why is it different? Why did it go up so much? Because of the rich clientele in Wayzata? They will just pay it without question?This is just one example. Its shameful that they are posting record profits while engaging in these practices when everyone except the wealthy are struggling with their exorbitant pricing.

If they tell you they'll call you back about them screwing up your online order and not including missing items that were paid for, don't believe them. I've been promised a call "right back" 3 times now after having to explain their screw up to 5 different people.

I visited this Lunds while waiting my turn at the DMV. I picked up some food at the deli. Great food as usual. Lunds always has fresh groceries, and food for those of us that are always on the run. Friendly staff too!

WAAAAAY to pricy for this poor girl BUT if you LOVE pretty eats, their bakery has some BEAUTIFUL finds😁😁.When I was asked "how I could be helped" by the artist himself (who probably deserves a raise after this!!) I replied with " nope, I ate them all already, as if the kid in me already had my hands in the cookie jar. 🤣🤣😃😃😃

I remember going to Lunds since I was very little with my grandmother. I still go here because of the fantastic bakery and fresh produce along with great service. Yes the prices are higher, but you are getting more.I am knocking off a star because they charge for grocery curbside pickup while most other stores don't. I understand it is time consuming for them, but it's harder to shop here during these times while other stores don't charge a pick-up fee.

Great grocery store for higher end food, especially meats. The price is a little higher as it reflects generally higher quality, but they do run great sales that make it very competitive. I recommend tracking their sales and stocking up when you can.

The fresh produce is well stocked and I can usually get in and out fairly quickly. I'm able to find specific spices I'm not able to find elsewhere. The prices are a bit higher but I enjoy the upscale, clean shopping environment!
