Taylor is such a gem & absolutely excellent with my pups. In addition to giving them a great experience and doing what’s best for them, she guides me on how to best care for them at home between appointments. She took extra time with my 15 year old all the way up until she passed & grooms my two boys now. I appreciate the extra care and attention she provides to each of their personalities. Highly recommend Taylor & the C&D groom team to anyone looking for a compassionate & caring groomer.

I am really torn about leaving this review.It has two distinct partsFirst - Store itself is really good - 4 out of 5. Great, attentive staff, good selection!Taking one point because store organization is not intuitive and it is really hard to find stuff that I do not buy on a weekly basis.The second part of this review - grooming. It is extremely disappointing. For the price of the groom and the location - grooming is really bad!I have not seen such an inattentive and "chop" groom from professional groomers!We took our small dog in for the full groom package. He was matted, so not the straight forward easy job.When we got him back, his nails were not cut (part of the package), and his body, feet and face were cut so unevenly with clumps were sticking out and chunks taken off that it took us a long time to smooth the cut ourselves to the barely acceptable look.His tail, legs and head were shaved for the convenience of the groomer (instead of taking time to brush and then scissor cut like professional groomers do). He is a small dog, so time to do the work should not have been an issue.But the last drop and the reason I decided to write it is that I came back to the store to provide feedback to the groomer and store staff. Instead of listening to my feedback, and taking it into account for the next customer, I got yelled at. No effort was made to attempt to and understand my comments.

We have a 4 month old mini golden doodle and love Chuck & Don’s do-it-yourself dog wash room. It’s easy to use the adjustable handheld shower head and the powerful (and loud) hair dryer. They provide shampoo and conditioner and several clean towels. They disinfect the unit after every wash. There is a front door to the tub for larger dogs. Small dogs like mine are easy to pick up and put in the tub. It’s so nice to be able to stand while washing! Its set up well with plenty of water pressure so it doesn’t take long to wash and rinse. They take walk ins on a first come first serve basis. I have only had to wait once - for less than 30 minutes. The best part is the cost. You can buy 5 washes for $35 (or a single wash for $15). They offer an unlimited wash deal too if you need it. The staff is friendly and professional. Free and convenient parking in the lot out front.

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. They always make my pup and I feel so welcomed and taken care of. Today I came in with a huge return after I got my pups food allergy results, Tracy helped me read through ingredients on a bunch of different bags of kibble to try to find something for my sensitive guy. The people that work at this store always do their absolute best to help me! I almost never go to a different location or chain of pet stores because of this!! Sebastian and I love you guys!!

I brought my Pitbull to visit Amy A. She and her co workers made my dog feel very welcome with open arms and lots of treats. Everyone who worked there showered her with love making her first visit at chuck and Don's a fun and memorable experience.We will continue to shop and visit here.

My #1 takeaway: the staff working this location help make the store a fun place to shop (2/10/23).As a pet supply chain, Chuck and Don's is fairly dog-centric, but there are adequate cat supplies, as well as some reptile, bird, and aquatic supplies.If you're looking for product recommendations, talk to the staff. They are pet lovers, excited to share their expertise with customers.

Just picked our goldendoodle up from a grooming appt here and I have never seen a bigger hack job in my life. Absolutely epic fail. I sent pictures to the manager and he agreed it was unacceptable, gave explanation that their groomers are very inexperienced. I sure wish they would have told me that when we dropped him off. Stay away…

They had the brand of puppy food we wanted but not the type. The lady was kind enough to check nearby stores and ended up special ordering it for us. Explained their return policies thoroughly, which are generous, and talked about other puppy needs. It feels like a store that will remember you and help you with whatever you need as they are able.
