Stopped mid afternoon Saturday for a burger and a beer. Ordered the world famous Red Goat Burger. It delivered, the crunchy onions with bar-b-que sauce added tang and texture, burger was perfectly cooked, seasoned nicely. Fries were dialed in perfect. Service was prompt and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. Really nice place. I would recommend stopping here. Quintessential small town country bar. I will be back again.

Amazing patio to enjoy music on a Sunday! Talk about Sunday funday. Bloody Marys are excellent, appetizers were great, meat raffle was a success and the service could not be beat. Music every Sunday 1-5 and always something going onKid-friendliness: The outside area is huge with bean bag boards and plenty of room to run around inside a fence patio area

We found the Red Goat a few years ago as it is on the Apol’s bandana. This past week we were out and about riding and planned our lunch so we could eat at the Red Goat. It did not disappoint! Our waitress was friendly and our food was delicious! I had the steak strip salad…OMG, it was so so nummy!! The weather was perfect to sit on the patio. On Sunday afternoons they have live music. We hope to get back and check it out one day!

Really enjoyed our time here. Great food, great service, great space. Sat outside on the patio, and quickly made friends with other people. Go on a summer cruise and make this a stop. You won't be disappointed!

There was 5 adults & we sat outside. Server quickly acknowledged us & told us she'd be right with us. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were served promptly. Everyone enjoyed their food.

The facility is super clean. The service was excellent. The hostess was great tried to get us a table right away during a busy time. The bartender was fast at getting drinks to the table and the waitress were super friendly. The food was very good. Would recommend the chicken burger.

Fabulous food and amazing service by Shelby!This was my first time here. Food and drinks were priced very reasonably. Drinks were cold and served fast. They have a nice variety of food to choose from on their menu. I ended up going with the Olive Burger. Portions were normal sized and not restaurant sized so you won't over eat. Our table shared an order of Fried Pickles which were hot and tasty.We sat on the "new" side of the restaurant. Plenty of room for people to come and join! The bathrooms were well kept and updated. The overall cleanliness of the establishment was very clean.I loved my experience here and will definitely be stopping by again soon!

This bar in a small town is a joke, I've eaten there before the food is great but when I call to order take out in Saturday at 6pm they told me no. They said they're to busy and don't do take out between 5-8pm They did tell me if I come in and spend city money on there drinks they'd give me take out though. What a joke! I just want to have dinner and take it home is it that hard to service the public?

Nothing to be excited about. Tried Red Goat for the first time tonight. I ordered the pork rib basket. My 1st two ribs I ate were very fatty, and I thought the sauce was very plain. The waitress had been by to check on us already, and i had barely touched the first two ribs, so did not bother mentioning anything at that time.Then the next two ribs I attempted to eat were cold, so not very appealing to eat. I nibbled on them and just couldn't finish them cold like that. I took the rib basket up to the bar area where all the staff were standing and told them about the first two ribs and the other two were cold. They were very apolgetic and did ask if I wanted a new basket, but I was full from eating all the tator tots that the basket came with. The tator tots were good. So instead of offering to take off my side salad from our bill or even take off my husbands soda, they just gave us the bill. They should have at least taken off something for me only eating two ribs that barely had any meat on them, mostly fat. We wont be back there or recommend this place at all.

We stopped in just to have a drink, immediately got the feeling that the bartender, host and servers did not want us there. They sat us and took our orders but just felt not wanted. The bartender tonight couldn’t smile to save her life. Wanted to try some apps but didn’t think the staff would be happy if we ordered food. With the un welcoming staff, we will never be back.

Very fun, rural bar and grill to visit! Great bar style menu with burgers and fries. They even have live music Sunday afternoon. They have pull tabs, if you're into that. They were also offering some great community fund raisers at the time we were there. Great staff too! We had a large group, and they really worked hard for us.

Ok someone needs to seriously take some time to train our server. From the get-go, she evidently thought the pour spout of the water pitcher was a thumb hold! Every drink she served, she five fingered on the rim! Lovely that this was after several times futsing with her hair. Forgot to put in our appetizer order, forgot one drink completely, maybe it was the table of 4 guys she was enjoying talking to? We finally got our food and it was so nice of them to completely hold on to the breadstick with their bare hands as they brought it to the table! We are no germ-aphobs and still ate and drank from every wrong thing they touched but holy hell, train your staff how to Serve-Safe.The food was very good! Really good! Compliments to the kitchen!!!I’m guessing staffing is an issue...our group of 14 showed up and we felt punished...can’t sit inside, can’t sit in this or that chair to wait to be seated outside and only at these tables that you can’t move together. Our server got very upset when other customers said they’d be happy to move so our group could sit closer. That “wasn’t her section” and “she wasn’t going to do that”.I’ve served for 12 years. Never would any of this happen where I’ve worked.

I’ve been there a few different times. It’s about a 40 minute drive from my house to go there to eat. The food is always fantastic. The atmosphere is always upbeat and inviting. I extremely and highly recommend this restaurant.

At the recommendation of one of the former snowmobile club groomers we did a day ride out to Watkins and stopped in at The Red Goat.Met one of the co-owners who served our table as well Scott who took great care of us when we stopped in from our snowmobiling.Awesome. Recently remodeled and expanded place, great decor, service was excellent and the food was all very tasty. Worth the drive for sure. Will definitely return soon.
