Highly recommended for excellent care and treatment of pets. Our dog has been here numerous times for wellness checks, vaccinations, an occasional concern needing a medication, and even dental surgery. All has been great!

Dr. Steve Ekholm and his staff are top notch.We first met Steve back in 1989 on a Sunday afternoon when our dog Chewy cut her leg open and needed stitches. He did not hesitate to have us come in and meet him in his office to get Chewy all fixed up.Steve has been a vet for cats and dogs for 30 years now. Most recently we were in the see Steve to help make a decision about end-of-life for our beloved oddball our rat terrier that is 15 years old. His advice along with his kindness and compassion helped us make this difficult decision.Thanks

Good experience here. Dr. listens to me and my needs for my dog. Initial visit was consult for teeth cleaning and history for new patient. Second visit was the cleaning. They did a beautiful job! I was very impressed. They also did a standered blood workup which helped me determine my dog has pancreatitis. Since then I have been able to make her food customized for her and her symptoms are under control.I will add, his prices are better than most veterinary hospitals anywhere around.The only thing I can say that might need improvement is it takes forever to get checked out when you are finished.

Very friendly & helpful staff. One of my parents' two dogs pulled out of her collar while I was walking her, she's a runner, and one came out with some treats and helped catch her.

Called them on a Thursday evening and they called me back Friday morning talked to to to them and set up an emergency appointment for 4pm same day. Everyone was very kind couurtious and understanding. The vet was exceptionally nice and professional. Everything went well.

We travel in an RV about 4 months out the year with our beloved dogs. When you travel and you are in need of a vet you rely on google search, you know nothing about the clinic or their staff. You don't know what you could be walking into. We were in Minnesota in July when our sweet 14 year old dachshund went down hill. We googled and brought her into Walker Animal Hospital. As I write this I find it hard to put into words how impeccable Dr. Steve, Heather and the entire staff were. The compassion and concern they showed for our sweet Zowie and us went beyond anything we could have ever imagined. When it came time to make the decision to let her go they took the time to make us feel comfortable and at peace. We so wish we could have bottle them all up and brought them home to Louisiana so that others could experience their knowledge, sensitivity and kindness. Thank ya'll so very much for taking care our sweet Zowie and more importantly for making us feel so comfortable and at peace with this very hard thing. If you are in need of a Vet look no further than the wonderful people at Walker Animal Hospital.
