I love coming here when we’re in town. I’m delighted to find organic produce options, organic dry foods, and some cleaner fragrance-free cleaning products. They also have a nice selection of health care products, including supplements and more natural options. A step up from your average northwoods supermarket. We will be back!

I had the bakery make me a 70th birthday cake. Gold with black icing. The gold was a mustard yellow and ugly. There was 2 clusters of balloons on there like for a child's cake. The cake was very dry. It sloped in the middle where the 2 cakes were put together. It looked and tasted awful. I've waited for a call from the bakery dept head and it's been 2 weeks. Nobody has called me. I'll say to Super One word of the mouth is bad!

Has self checkouts, self checkouts closed. 10 people in line only one cashier. I waited too long for one can, not a quick visit.Need physical coupon to get sales.

I love super one and their workers. Molly who's been there for years is the best. Shes a very nice woman & she'll help or make you feel like coming back. Most of the workers have good customer service skills. They're really genuinely nice people & they're just very polite there. Molly stuck up for me when one worker was mistreating me & being unreasonable & mean to me. Well for that Molly. Management is nice & very thoughtful too. Kathy she's great tooKathy Armstrong & Molly are always helpful. Kathy always greets me by name. Shes a nice lady & good worker.

Was just in the store the person at register with cigarettes her name was Karen. She needs to be talked to very crabbing didn’t talk to me or anything. I said something to her, and she didn’t act like I said anything. I shop here a lot. Not sure what was going on with her. I think she needs to be told to be more friendly to the customers.

I love that they offer organic cream, and a variety of organic produce. Always friendly staff, my husband often chats with workers stocking shelves. Aisles are laid out well. Produce is generally very fresh. I appreciate the variety of goods they offer (esp.for a small town, it's amazing.) Their bakery is awesome and we appreciate that their pricing is not out of line for being the only store within a 10 miles radius. They have a new self-checkout aisle this year (two machines) and I really like that they've been progressive in adding this amenity. Good on you guys, SuperOne!

If you're strategic you can really keep the cost down. Use the weekly coupon, check right inside the door for the pamphlet and have them scan the code when you're checking out. They do need some help stocking shelves, if you go later in the day some items may be in limited supply. Or totally gone for the day. The summer residents are back in town now, population basically doubles, maybe triples.

Good selection, frozen options, friendly staff, and decent prices are the positives. I drive past two other groceries to get here because it is the best around.I struggle finding good produce here. In particular the bananas are always super green. I believe the bananas thing is universal but seems worse here than other local groceries.

Horrible customer service! We were walking out of the store today and a employee was walking in, my wife smiled as always because she is a nice person. The employee glared and grimaced. What a horrible way to greet your customers! I only frequent this store because it's the only grocery store available nearby. Not a very friendly place. Try my best to go anywhere but here.

You really couldn't ask for a much better small town grocery store, which most Super One's seem to have in common.The only downside to this store at the moment is that they need a larger building with wider aisles etc., but they do a fantastic job with what they have to work with.Produce and meat are always fresh and very good quality. Service is excellent. Prices are very competitive.Mark and his crew run an excellent store that is a real asset to Walker and the surrounding communities.

Good selection of groceries- prices were better than expected. I would be hesitant to pull in with a big trailer but it was a good sized parking lot. Felt like a smaller version of cub foods with many of the same brands. Included good selection of lactose free milk as well as a decent deli counter

This was our first visit to the Super One in Walker. The Queen (wife) wanted to shop for Thanksgiving. She found an excellent deal on a Turkey, as well as a ham for the holidays.It was amazing how much stuff they carry. I think you would be hard pressed to need an ingredient or food item, and not be able to find it in this store.I seriously doubt that this will be our last trip to this store.They have everything, and the people that work there are very nice.

Update: General Manager apologized and they have reviewed and addressed my concerns. Very responsive and polite; less than 24hrs. I was upset when I originally posted... Have 2 kids who are picky eaters and all stores were closed by the time I realized that the food I purchased was expired. Appreciate their assistance. Thank you.Original post: Generally, I haven't ever had a problem with this market. I stay away from most of their meat products (deli esp. tastes off)...but most of the essentials have been fine. However, I purchased some dry goods from them on 12/24/17 only to find out that they expired on 12/13/17... completely unacceptable especially being the only market in town. Someone is not routinely auditing their stock...make sure to check the dates before buying from here.
