Great selection and great deals, had a few problems with shipping through the app but their team is very helpful and the rebates are legit, in a few short trips I was able to upgrade my home, start a thriving garden and my BIG Menards card makes shopping super convenient to get all the tools and supplies I need; not to mention cleaning supplies and toilet paper but I literally love this one stop shop for homeowners…

I have been here several times and every time staff is always friendly and helpful! I had some issues with my Menards countertops and Adam helped me through every issue to get me taken care of and happy! This management team will go above and beyond to take care of you! One other thing I really like is I had an item that was over 90 days since date of purchase but never opened and in original packaging and Menards took it back no questions asked and gave me store credit which was great! I’ve done the same thing at Home Depot and they won’t let you return anything at all for any reason even if it was never opened if it’s after 90 day window. With doing big projects 90 days goes by quick and pumped Menards could help out on that end!

Excellent Building Material Store...JD Power awards Menards as the #1 Building Material store in the USA again! Menards in St. Cloud, MN (Waite Park, MN( on the corner of 10th and 2nd is a regional hub of activity. A “Do It Yourself” Building Material, like Menards offers enormous product opportunity. Shopping at places like these, one is always amazed at how much information Team Members throughout this store can offer a guest. Team Members almost always bring excellent service with their deep store and product knowledge. My analogy is his, working a one of the largest and most successful discount building material centers in the nation offers unique opportunity’s and challenges for the guest and team member. To me, it would be like working at a library...has every librarian read every book? Obviously not. My observation is 99.9% of the guests understand team members have good knowledge, much of it broad on products and advise in all store departments. It only stands to reason. When I have needed help, smiling and knowledgeable, professional team members handle me with style and grace. This is not A local hardware store where your hand will be held throughout the process, of course guests understand because they come from a “do it yourself” attitude and mentality. In the retail environment of our nation, Menards hits the mark again and again by offering good value for good product and services. That is why people return over and over and over again...just like me. The local management team understands the need for high qualified team members and hits the mark time and time again. For any and all building material needs, including groceries and a full array of electronics, plumbing, flooring, wall covering, mill work, building material and hardware...Menards is your one stop shop! Well done!

It’s my favorite hardware store. Before their remodeling I would have given them 5 stars. They moved pretty much everything outside now. I used to like being able to get lumber inside. And now it takes forever to find things. Also they used to be big on made in USA but not no more. Tools used to be USA . Nails used to be USA. Now it’s all China. I’m big on USA made. Now I have to resort to online retailers to get a lot of things.Oh and they say if there is ever more than 2 people in line, they will open another register. What a joke!!! The last time I was there I waited 35 minutes in line. There was only 1 line open.

Used the website to research & choose my products before heading to the store. Product locations were listed on the website but it didn't coincide well IRL & map was not user friendly. An associate was able to direct us exactly to where to go to find what we were looking for with concise & easy to follow directions. Very helpful! Used my rebate checks with no problem & was on & out quickly. Store was clean & organized. Friendly employees, reasonable prices.

What does the price say in the photo? Not $49.99? Left my entire order as the kids smiled. I will take my business to Home Depot or Amazon. Menards doesn’t need money. Maybe will less revenue coming in they can lay off some of the kids that don’t need a job.Went back to Menards only to have another negative experience...False advertising! I purchased a Tuscany Altamont faucet. The sales person explained the warranty as I had issues with my previous faucet and said that if I had had issues they would replace it with the same faucet, a different look or an upgrade if they do not have any other options. The warranty is right on the package, lifetime warranty... I purchased it. The control center ended up only dispensing cold water. I checked the lines and I was not able to fix it. I called the help line and as the packaging insisted customer service rep said to try banging on it with a hammer, I laughed... but did. I was told it was a solenoid stuck in it and that I should go back to the store because they are no longer able to get that part as currently it says it is backordered over six months.Okay, so let's see how Menards stands by their brand... The guy said that they had one in stock but he was not able to find it. He said that I would have to speak with the store manager as she would have to upgrade me to a Pfizer brand model. I spoke to Regina and she just said that all she could do was return it dispite what the sales person said. She said that I could pay the difference.... this is clearly false advertising... and the packaging proves it as well. She said that she would call the Plumbing manager, Darren, back there to meet me to see what he could do (even though Regina did say that I was not getting a swap). I waited 20 minutes before leaving.On the way home I stopped at Costco. The top of the line $400 faucet from Moen was on sale for $120… I guess I know where I should have gone!

2022 Update. I'm done with F*Farm so I go to here. Usually I get help, and they actually have staff there. My most recent visit was OK, the electrical staff person was helpful if not really informed but helped me find the items. They didn't have what I wanted, but they had a lot of choices. Nobody hassled me about parking my motorcycle up by the building (OK, that was pre-P). So, I'm completely done with Fleet Farm, nobody to help you, nobody knows anything or where it is. I'll still go to Home Depot, and sometimes that's worth it because you might pay more, but they might have it too. I get no benefits from my reviews by the way. Just my personal opinion. Today found they have Polaroid sunglasses. 😎

Had a great experience working with Darren in the plumbing! He was very patient with me as I explained my plumbing dilemma on a busy Saturday morning. He went the extra mile to make sure I got the right part to complete my job. I had visited the other big box store in town and felt the service here was superior!

Prices extremely high, spent an hour an half going through lumber, first 45 nobody there to grab another pallet for me to find straight boards. Next, went at 8am, garden center not open, nobody there to check out, seriously? You open early but nobody there to let people in, have to walk through the whole store and then back to checkout disaster zone. Quality is getting lower while the prices go up, customer service is non issue, you don't have any. Couldn't find an employee in one section, had to find another who also couldn't find one then they gave up and walked away.Not a lot of knowledge either, special order items because you aren't stocking much, overall, keeps getting worse, but as long as your greed is high, good for you.

Worst customer service in the city. I asked a basic question to an employee who wouldn’t even make eye contact with me and made it clear from her (?) huffing and puffing. She was all to happy to joke around with her coworker seconds later.Several years ago I was dealing with someone in the back. I was there to pick up some doors. The guy helping me was extremely poor at hiding his intense frustration at being asked to work.Management should be cleaned out. Home Depot’s staff is almost annoying at how often they ask if you need help.

Update 6/7/2023 I received the e-mail you see response from Menards that you see at the bottom of this review. I sent a e-mail with my points and it was rejected from the company. It says that it was blocked as spam. :) Great customers service....Went to the St. Cloud Store. Had a battery from Menards. Told that I needed a receipt. No longer had the receipt and couldn't look the receipt up as it was on an expired card. Manager and Service Desk person were horrible didn't listen at all. The battery says right on it six-month replacement. Not one thing says you need a receipt. I would highly recommend not buying this battery they are junk. Went through two in a year and one i never returned this one the manager and girl behind the service desk came up with every excuse why they couldn't return it. Nothing about owe sorry to here you had a bad experience with our product. DONT BUY THIS BRAND.

We had Greta in the paint section help us with Figuring out what we needed in finding a suspended ceiling system. She was excellent I couldn't ask for a better person to help us. She was kind efficient and did an excellent job it's so nice to run into a young person like that. She would be excellent training others how to do their job.

Their staff in the yard are not knowledgeable and lazy. We often come here to get materials for jobs and every time it takes 45 minutes or longer trying to get materials. Many of their employees have know idea whats going on or where anything is. The security staff at the exit gate have counted 2x6 as 2x4s when picking up material. They need to do a better job training their employees so pick ups go smoother.

Twice I’ve been helped by David in the outdoor/garden section, and he has taken me right to the location of the products I was looking for, as I was trained to do in retail. I really appreciated his helpfulness. He’s a good worker!

Ever since COVID, their customer service and morale among employees has severely dipped. I’m officially Home Depot first and only a Menards customer if it’s something I can’t find at HD. This evening we were buying 60 window casings and they had a discounted price/SKU for a dozen. We weren’t given the dozen discounted price because you have to buy the dozen packages together. Except there was not any dozen bundles left and they still wouldn’t give the discount even though we were buying them in dozens. HD wouldn’t have even questioned it. Menards is ancient and behind the times and their 11% “rebate” is run like something out of the 1980s. Mail it to Wisconsin and hope that in 8-12 weeks a rebate card shows up that someone in your house doesn’t throw away. Lance was the manager working tonight, and honestly he seems like he hates people.

Order pickup is a joke. No staff. Phone rings at an empty desk. Impossibly annoying and useless phone tree. Tech infrastructure is awful.I've been waiting in my car for 15 minutes.It's been like this for years. Just shop inside or go somewhere else.Employees are nice and clearly overstretched, but where is management?

I had an excellent experience in the St Cloud Menards on Friday night. I hadn't been to one in awhile and I needed four gallons of paint, all different colors. Even though it was obvious that the young gentleman that was helping me was extremely busy, he was unbelievably kind and helpful. I didn't realize you couldn't color match on some fabrics (mine!) so I didn't have a backup plan.. but desperately needed a gallon of paint in that color - yikes! He was extremely helpful, all while being kind and cheerful, letting me bring him different things from around the store for a match.. which we were finally able to get off a box of pudding cups, in the one little corner that could possibly work! I was grateful, he was tenacious and I got my much needed paint!! I can't say enough good things about the experience.. I hope they're paying their employees well, because they deserve it! Truly. And for what I spent in a little over an hour there, as well as everyone else that frequents their stores.. I'm sure they can afford it. As for me, I love Menards and I'm sure I'll be going back, regardless of what it cost

This place is a joke. Made online order to make things fast and simple to just go in and pick up. Received confirmation email and an email saying my order is ready for pickup. Drove to the store and waited in line in the lumber yard and they told me they were out of what I ordered. Why do you send an email saying it is ready for pickup if you don’t have it? 3 hours of my time waisted plus 50 miles of driving. Don’t think I’ll ever be back.

Good products but horrible customer service and employees. Talked to four different employees. Two were rude and sent me in a completely different isle for an item I had asked to look up. Came back after I realized I got sent on a wild goose chase, asked a different employee about the item I wanted. They had no clue where this item was, but I found it in another section on my own. Another employee had no clue about any of the products in the isle they were in. Only reason I came here was because Fleet Farm was out of stock for what I wanted, but I'll just wait until they go back in stock. Never coming back to Menards.

I went into the st cloud store to order an item I got it ordered and asked the gentlemen that was helping me if I had to pay for it before it was ordered. I was told by him no, that we will pay for it at the time of pick up. The date went by that it should have been in so I called the store. And the gentleman that I talked to on the phone was very rude to me. Wasn't nice at all. I wish I got a name but of course he didn't say a name when he answered. But the first gentleman should have told me the correct info in the first place. Since he was on the floor and able to help me order my item he should have known it needed to be paid for at the time of the order.

Horrible customer service! They have items marked incorrectly and will not honor the price they have listed on the self! There were over 20 of the same item on the shelf clearly marked clearance and they would not honor their mistake. Manager was not willing to make it right. Terrible customer service.

Used to love shopping here for our remodeling needs. That is, up until we had to wait and wait and wait for our 11% rebate. We are still waiting all these months later, and now we are told we may not get it. Not a good way to treat loyal customers. Time to spend our hard earned money elsewhere! Very disappointed!

Just like every other big-box store it has its pros and cons. Pros good prices good selection an app for my phone that helps you find where things are. You can scan barcodes to look up prices. And there is usually somebody close by that can help you find what you need. Con's having to drive to the back of the store for the lumber yard and other things and also for online order pick-up. The online order pick-up would be better if it was in the front of the store because it would save people lots more time.
