Grubers was sold a year ago. I found the NEW personal very nice, friendly,and willing to help. Because of world events and their being a new shop they are having troubles with their stocking. Their orders are shorted. They order ten bolts and get 4. Give them some time and they'll be up to the expectations we associate with the name GRUBERS.

Nine of us had a fantastic time at your quilt retreat center last week! Great lighting, cutting tables, design walls and the beds were comfortable. We were treated extremely well - and the quilt shop is right across the parking lot. What a shop! Thank you!!!!!

Fantastic selection and very friendly and helpful service.However, I have never had an experience here when the cash register worked properly. On the low-impact end, they will simply fail to read a card or are just very slow at checkout leading to a long line. On the high-impact end, we were charged several hundred (yes hundred) dollars more for fabric than what we owed.

I really like this store. Large selection of fabric and yarn that is well organized and good for a variety of tastes. Staff has been helpful when I had questions and seem to really know what they're talking about but they aren't so abundant that you can't spend some time walking around by yourself. Prices are also pretty reasonable, plus the whole supporting a local businesses thing.

Loved this store. It was my first time there and there was lots of different fabrics, patterns, yarn and more. Staff was very helpful. I don't recall the name of the young man who helped us but he was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Also the cafe was great. I had their special of the day a roast beef sandwich that was amazing!!!

Stopped here totally by accident. Was passing through on our northern trip from Fl. To Tacoma, Wa. Totally amazing at this shop. BEST SURPRISE EVER. Great people, wonderful lines of fabric plus lots of other skill options. A little for everyone. Large hubby sitting in front, such a hoot for those that need.Will recommend everyone to stop in if passing by.

Today was my second time in a year that I have been in your shop. The last time we took a number so as not to allow too many shoppers in the store. Today I could come in as long as I had a mask on. Just like my previous visit I was not greeted by anyone when I entered the store. I browsed for 30 minutes before asking 2 clerks behind a cutting table with no customers where the baby flannel was. They pointed me in the direction, one walked me to the area and promptly left to re-join the other gal at the cutting table. I did not want to bother them again as I had questions regarding my project, pattern and choice of fabrics. So I wandered back to the front area near the registers to look at fabric there. Again, 2 clerks were behind the counter, one ringing up customers and the other doing?. I was never greeted nor approached just like the last time I was there. You have seen the last of me. I was prepared to pay $$$$ your prices for my special quilt for my new grandson in St. Joseph, MN. Too bad your clerks lack customer service except maybe for people they know.Sincerely but disappointed,Mary ColemanRochester, MN

Gruber's is fabric heaven. There is a smattering of everything here. The store is broken into general sections... Children's, reproduction period fabrics, barnyard, etc. They also have lots of yarn and plenty of notions. You will even find high quality soaps. Just outside the main store is their café, if you are looking for a snack after spending lots of time browsing. Enjoy your time at this great store!

I love shopping at Gruber's. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. It's a large shop with a very good selection of fabrics for every taste. It should be a "must stop" for quilters who are looking for a wonderful experience.

Great shop. Definitely worth the stop. Huge selection of really great fabrics. Including cottons batiks flannels minky and wide backings. They also had some beautiful knits and felted wool.

Best quilt shop in Minnesota! Largest selection of 100% cotton quality fabrics. Nice sales people and they offer a frequent buyer card. Also can order online and they ship immediately as in same day.

Since moving to the st cloud area I have made trips to grubers.and been put off by the staff attitude..this time I was cheerfully greeted by staff, asked what I was looking for, and even asked what we were making...what a change! Hope this new attitude continues!
