I have been shopping at thrift stores for a long time and this is not a place i would recommend from employees wearing air pods when cashiering to ringing up my items are the wrong items. today was the last time i shop at this store i know half of the employees are very awesome and it stinks that a couple of bad eggs are bringing down a whole store but i will not shop at a store that dose not care about customer or the stuff they are buying handling this without care. i tried to complain to the store but they blew me off. My money will be spent elsewhere and knowing they allow people to not give a damn about there jobs is more frustrating then anything. Care about were you shop if you need books shop at thrift books if you need other thing shop at thrift works or savers.

Goodwill what happened ? Look up the definition of goodwill. Profit helps a small group of people not the masses. Time to change for the better.

Thrift stores are highly enjoyable for me, but I can't say I enjoy shopping at goodwill. The prices are often not that good for the condition, and any item that is even remotely expensive or desirable gets sticker priced AS WELL AS sharpied with the initials of whoever priced it, thus severely affecting the product. Who sharpies vintage and antique items??? Terrible idea, whoever came up with it. Also, no fitting rooms for trying on clothes. Resellers don't care about fit, but the rest of us do.

Used to be a great place to find a bargain. Far too many items (used) are priced at or above full retail prices of the same items brand new. Save your money and check out more garage sales if you want a good deal on used items. Savers is not a better option.

Most of the staff are very friendly. However some stuff that they receive discontinued or returned items from other retailers, they don't check the contents. I have had to pay for headphones from the glass case before I could look at it. Being in its original retail box I thought it would be fine or at least they would have checked it. Then when I opened headphone box I find that they are completely broken and missing a major part. Apparently a new policy just changed to exchang only, so I couldn't get my money back right there on the spot after I opened it. They didn't have another pair like it to exchange, so I had to spend it on something else at that time or within 7 days. I went back a few times within the seven days because that first day I didn't find anything I could have used for wanted. So on the 7th day I bought some things that I ultimately didn't want or need anyways, I just didn't want my money wasted. They could've taken the time to look in the box before putting it out for sale, and this situation could have been avoided. It would've taken than two seconds. (*Open* "Oh, these are destroyed." *Throws box away*) But it was marked as inspected/ good-to-sell with initials. Someone didn't do their job properly. To be honest this is happened to me before, however they were smaller items and it wasn't that big of a deal. But these were Microsoft Xbox One headphones that they were charging a decent penny for; seemingly unused but an obviously previously opened box: half price of what they would have been at full retail. So I thought it was a good find/deal.) I don't really buy things from their glass case anymore unless an employee let's me inspect what's in it. But depending on the helping employee; that's not always possible. So be careful when looking at things in the glass cabinet.

I LOVE working and meeting all the people that come into our GoodWill! If I can make them smile, that makes my day. If they find a good deal, all the better!😊😊

Immediately turned off when I realized there are no longer fitting rooms and there are no returns, only exchanges. It's a waste of my time to shop here if I can't see how something fits before purchasing AND you will not offer a refund.

Do yourself a favor and donate to savers instead. Not that savers is that great anymore either, but the service and pickiness of goodwill is almost laughable. Not sure about shopping but refuse to donate again.

Worst Goodwill we've been to, wish there was another choice. Super unorganized, employees unhelpful. Times online and on the voice message is different. (One year ago)Today..... September 2021: will NOT be going to this Goodwill anymore. A couple years ago, I was there once a week and took stuff there all the time. Will no longer do either. They don't take returns, the stopped giving a 50% off coupon, they prices have gone up and now they closed the fitting rooms. It's awful there. Disorganized and not worth our time! 0 stars!

Great! Much better than Savers, the prices and selection are higher quality and with any second hand store there is a lot of luck involved. There are many new in the package items also or items from Target's charity markouts. I've got wonderful clothes and home items here for years and have saved many hundreds of dollars off what they would have been priced in the stores.

Good place but they need more fitting rooms and to limit the amount someone can take into a fitting room so it gives everybody a chance to use them. People are taking in entire cart fulls of clothes, like 40 at a time. How long do you think they're going to be in there for? Also, check out lines can be long. But they got great deals and sales.

One of the better Goodwill stores between the metro and Fargo. The store was remodeled a few years ago, it's clean and brightly lit. It's very heavily trafficked though, so deals are few and far between. Staff seems to pull all items of real value for sale online, so don't bother looking for electronics or antiques here. Strangely limited selection of men's clothing as well. But if you go regularly, you can find things worth taking home, and if you need kitchen items it's a good place to shop. Lots of Target cast-offs here, often priced higher than the final clearance priced at Target, so beware.

Customer service was excellent! The merchandise was generally in pretty good condition and reasonably priced.

This is an event that happened a few months back but still has me cringing every time I see the upper manager. We went up to the counter with a rug we had selected to buy and showed our coupon we had so the clerk scans the coupon and we leave. Later when looking at the receipt we realize we weren’t given the correct discount. So we take it back in to the store and find our selves realizing we should NOT have walked back in. The upper manager was rude and tells us that the coupon was not good on red tags (which does not say that on the original text message we received with our coupon) we soon find our selves standing there for 20 minutes forced to return then rebuy the rug for original price, she ruined our day and our love for goodwill. They should take blame for their mistakes and not make you pay for their accidents.

Overall the store is a mess. Shelves are unorganized stuff on the floor. Very slow at turning and getting new merchandise on th floor. I have switched to Savors. I go a couple times a week. Aways new items, I love the store plus its clean and well organized .I just don't know how goodwill stays in business.

I think it is very unsafe for the person dropping off things to have to get out of their car and unload themselves. The guys just stand there and watch. I feel safer staying in my car away from them and they do the unloading. What are they getting paid for??

I like popping in their during the weekend. But I especially like going in on thurs cause they have 50% of kids clothes. I drove to the goodwill today from foley just for this purpose only. No other errands. ( I'm a grandma so gotta have extra clothes) found a ton of items that were new and the sizes I needed. Got to the register after waiting in a long line to find out they no longer offer that discount. So i got 2 pairs of jeans,2 shirts,1 jogging pants, for $52 . Wasn't to happy as they never advertised that they no longer have this discount.

If you love thrift store shopping, you'll love the Goodwill. New items are being put on the floor constantly and the employees and management team are always friendly and available to help you. They have so much variety and seasonal items, from new to gently used items you can almost always find what you're looking for.

I was very upset to see someone with a higher status yelling at customer who didn’t even ask for help. If you work with public it would be nice to see nicer customer service. Raising your voice is very unprofessional.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They get rid of the dress rooms and then say you're not allowed to return anything if it doesn't fit. It seems like this place is always looking for a way to hustle the lower class out of more money. I will donate and shop elsewhere

I'd say get there early because when I went at 11am (mid week) it was packed! What I did like is that they had new items from Target and prices weren't to expensive. I'll be probably be going again.

The lack of a dressing room makes it impossible for my family to shop at your store any longer. It is very unfortunate as we did like this store a lot before.

10/2I learned if you are loud and verbally abusive to the cashier and demand cash back even though it's not allowed the manager will come up and give you cash, because the rules for the store only apply to some people.Feel so sorry for that cashier than is there everyday and so pleasant!I hope she quits.I hate shopping there because of the disgusting scent they pump out of the wall so,no loss.

if they are going to have a sign on the door stating all customers must ware a mask, then they should enforce the policyMan with no mask and no intention of wearing one with his body moved past me rubbing everything he had on me saying need to get by. I'm not really not a freak about the virus but come on.

This used to be my favorite place to shop but now I've changed my mind... last time I went there, a top that I looked at in the women's was soiled with feces where the end of the shirt would cover the butt of someone wearing it. And the guy sweeping every night. Why don't you wait to do that when everyone is out of the store? Ran over my exposed toes with a dirty broom multiple times!!

The store itself is fine but the staff that work the donation drop off are extremely slow. Currently been sitting in line for 15 minutes with the door shut and 4-5 other cars in line behind me . I called the store and was told that they would call to let them know. Still waiting...

Zero stars should be given. Goodwill in Waite Park would not honor a price on an item that was marked the same price twice front and back. The managers name was June. Very disappointed they wouldn't honor the price they put on an item. Will be contacting corporate as well this is unacceptable. Please check your receipts this Goodwill has shadey pricing practices. They are dishonest.

This is based on their video games that are priced higher then buying them at gamestop or Amazon. Otherwise your average goodwill. Recently went to the Monticello goodwill and their items that were salvage were half the price then the st cloud one. All target items.I visit about once or twice a week price hasn't changed on the games.
