I had an absolutely great time here with my husband, and our two dogs. The dog selection is very large and has a massive variety of toys, treats, food, harnesses, and more. There is a separate area for cats, rodents and lizards. Although the selection for cats, rodents and lizards is significantly smaller. It is still filled with a variety of things. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. My dogs had a great time here and got to try out a bunch of new treats.

Very helpful staff, the store manager suggested an allergy test for our dog with many allergies and she has been super helpful even keeping the results on file to be sure we get the best available foods and ingredients that don't bother our dog. I always feel good knowing I am getting high quality nutritional foods for ALL our pets.

I have been shopping here for years, I have always loved it. Today I brought my pup in for a nail trim and WOW I’m blown away! She hates having her nails trimmed, usually screams, she didn’t make a peep and her nails look great!! Seriously best place around for all your pet needs!!

Went in looking for a specific collar. The employee suggested a harness and said i could take it home and try it. If not i could return it. On my way home i decided it wasn't what i wanted so i never even tried it on or took it out of packaging. I went to return 3 days later when I had time and was told I could only get store credit. I understand it's their right but the first employee should have mentioned I couldn't get a refund but only store credit. My dog has health issues and can't have 90% of what they sell. I'll never use the store credit so now I'm out $35. Just seems like i should have been informed of this policy at time of sale.Esit, store owner called and made things right.

Great store with a highly knowledgeable staff. They were able to help us find something for our older dog who is having joint issues. Our kids also like checking out the reptile section of the store! It's a great atmosphere.

We love having a pet store right in town! My children enjoy going into look at some of their interesting pets such as fish, lizards and hampsters. We also appreciate their monthly nail trim clinics. It is so convienent to bring our dog in and have her nails clipped at a reasonable price.

This place is amazing. We have a variety of pets and this place has everything you need! Went in today to get our son a ball python. The staff and hands on owner were amazing and made sure we got a custom enclosure designed to please! I will never have to go to one of those big box stores again! I haven’t had good customer service in a loooong time😂but I had GREAT customer service. I got greeted by the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. The lady (maybe owner) helped me carry my items which were way better quality AND cheaper than petsmart. The animals were happy as could be and they even have frequent purchase rewards that are actually rewards and not some dumb email thing to flood me with junk specials. I think it’s like my 7th bag of food or hay is free. Dang hands down best place. If u can get to waconia skip the bigger guys. Thanks!

The staff are very kind and love all the animals in their care. The ferrets are my favorite by far.The store looks small on the outside but is actually rather large when you enter. I don't think I have anything negative to say about this place or my experiences with them.

I found a kitten located at Paws Inn Pet Essentials online and I knew I had to adopt her just from the photo. My boyfriend and I drove 2 hours to pick her up and Jodi and her team made it so worth it! Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable! Cute little shop that carries a lot of great, family-owned brands! Super Snouts, Farmina, Nutrisource. Prices are great and even better than some other places... Especially for Farmina. As I browsed, I noticed some products on the shelves were past expiration. Staff were friendly, and there were even a few critters for sale like Bearded Dragons, Betta Fish & a Ferret! Great selection!

I love this place and their wonderful employees. There are so many things here that I would like to start a wishlist for each of my dogs. I have found wonderful healthy, allergy free treats and they are one of few that carry SoJo freeze dried meals. My dogs love the play and fetching toys. They went crazy over the balls that look like an animal’s head. Can’t wait to get back and see what is new.

I used to make the trek out to new Germany just to visit Paws Inn Resort, I’m so happy they opened up a pet supply store in Waconia. The owner, Jodi, is very helpful and is knowledgeable about pet nutrition and pet supplies such as harnesses and toys. Our dog loves to go to the store and pick out her own treats and our cats love the push pop treats.
