I chose this place because it was close to the house. However I am glad we use this vet. They have been awesome. Good to listen to what is going on at the time and even had some suggestions for hiking places since I said we loved hiking. Been very happy so far. As far as vets go my dog likes them too.

My wife and I had been coming to Wabasha Vet for over 20 years and Barb was the vet . The new vet needs a class in people skills manager training she is arrogant and lacking empathy. We have had several senior animals that have have transitioned to over the rainbow but this last transition with Winston was not a good experience. He experienced a lot of pain that he shouldn’t have. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your animal to WabashaVet

VERY RUDE WOMEN WHO WORK THERE! NEED A ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT BIG TIME! ACCUSING ME OF NIT SHOWING UP FOR APPOINTMENTS I NEVER MADE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! We had an emergency situation, but because they didn’t have any openings she wanted us to wait 4 days. Our dog didn’t have 4 days. We called Alma vet who was also booked solid, and had never seen us before, but after hearing about her condition, our dog was seen within minutes. The person answering the phone at Wabasha Vet should get a different job, no compassion at all, she just suggested we put our dog down if she was so bad off. I will never go back ever again. The Dr.’s are great, but it’s hard to get to them thru that receptionist when you feel you have an emergency. This isn’t my first bad experience with her, but it is my last.
