Such a cute little cafe! Came here when heading up North and I am so glad I did! The cafe is super adorable. At the entrance they have books you can read while dining in. They also have a wide variety of pies! I ordered the spinach omelet with yogurt and grapefruit juice. The food came out relatively quick; everything was super hot and delicious. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful when ordering and checked in on us to ensure we were doing okay. The price for everything was VERY inexpensive. Breakfast for two was under $40!

As always great food, delicious and reasonably priced. Service was good, a little slow but it was packed for a big lunchtime crowd. I enjoyed their chicken cordon bleu crepes...they were wonderful. If you're eating here, save room for their pies and cakes. Their selection is always the best. I recommend their pecan pie and key lime pie.

3rd time this month, Saturday was definitely the busiest yet! Regardless, I received the absolutely amazingly consistent Strawberry Banana French toast, amazing as always. My table enjoyed all of their meals. Everything was cooked awesome, even when it was busy. Good job kitchen staff! Even though it was busy, our server was still attentive.

The food was wonderful ... 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 HUGE (delicious) pancakes and unlimited delicious coffee. I asked for sugar-free syrup and received it; I asked that the pancakes be on a separate plate and received it. They were very busy on a Sunday morning, seated our party of 10 relatively quickly, kept us informed about delays. Couldn't complain.

This is usually one of my favorite places so I decided to suggest it to meet one of my friends here for a change (I usually meet her elsewhere). What a mistake! I'm not sure what the sever's deal was but service was incredibly slow. It wasn't super busy and there was another server on the side we were on. We were there for 15 min before we even placed our drink order (both water), then another 10 min to place food orders even tho the waitress was at the tables next to us multiple times. Our food was OK, not excellent, but edible. However, my husband (at home) really wanted a bacon cheeseburger without fries so I ordered him one with slaw to go. I looked in the container quick before checking out and saw that there were fries and not slaw. After the massive wait times I didn't want to track the server down again so just brought it home. Get home and he opens the container to find it's a chicken sandwich with bacon, not a burger! I got charged for a bacon cheeseburger with slaw tho. Fries are soggy and inedible too. What a huge letdown!! My husband and I are very regular customers here, this was incredibly disappointing. Didn't see any of our regular servers, sure hope they didn't quit.

Village Inn is a go-to for my family, and is consistently good food. For the more selective eaters in my household, it's a safe choice. I tend to always get breakfast, no matter the time of day. The last time my adult child got the fried cod with baked potato, and the fish was to die for!!! The only thing I've had not on the breakfast menu that I can't recommend is the taco salad. It's greasy and bland (no Mexican seasoning that my taste buds picked up on). The service is usually really good, and they honor special requests pretty well too. Want your toast extra toasty, they'll do that! Over medium eggs, they'll do that too! Anyways, the strawberry crepes are one of my go to choices, along with eggs, hash browns and sourdough toast. Can't go wrong with strawberry crepes!!! :)Kid-friendliness: It's definitely a family friendly place to eat. They're not open too late, so they don't seem to attract a rowdy crowd.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, wide doors, and tables with chairs to accommodate wheelchairs.

The server was great. People appeared to be enjoying their food.The kids and I weren't very impressed.One child had the french toast. She said it was mushy. The other one had toast, cinnamon apples, and a scrambled egg. She didn't like the dry cold egg. I had the eggs Benedict, and we all shared some pancakes. I was hoping with the wait, the food would be hot! But, we were hungry and ate it.It took an awful long time to get our meals.

Food always great. But today I got the smothered breakfast burrito and the diced potatoes in it where undercooked and crunchy. Like taking a potato slapping it on the griddle and warming the outside ever so slightly to give you the impression that it has been cooked, only to bite into it and have the starchy crunch of an uncooked spud! They did give me a discount on the food which was appreciated.

It's a very busy place, but they always find a table to seat you at and give you very good service. This is a highly established business they've been serving the virginia area for many years. We came with a large group, our server was attentive. The food was excellent. Unfortunately when I left to pay I came across the wonderful display of pies. They all looked amazing. I chose the strawberry pie which was filled with the berries and delicious!!We came from west of the twin cities but if back in your area would for sure come back.Parking: Many areas to park as the building in back has closed.

The Virginia Village Inn is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The staff are always kind and welcoming, the manager is friendly and knows the regulars, and the food is always made well and put on your table promptly.I've never had a rude server or a bad food experience at this location and I've been coming for my whole life.I would definitely recommend this Village Inn to a friend.(Pictured: the California Skillet without cheese, over-medium egg, 3 buttermilk pancakes on the side.)Features: Some dividers at booths

The food made up for the lack of attention from server and host. I had a pick two with adult grilled cheese and Southwest salad. The turkey was thick cut that was nice and the salad was colorful, tasty, and crunchy. I'd return with my family.

Always excellent food. Very friendly staff. If you are coming for the fish fry on Friday night, they tend to sell out--the fish is WAY TOO tasty (tough thing to complain about, I know 😃), so make sure to arrive early. It should also be said that they typically put too much food on your plate (another terrible complaint, I'm sure), so bring a companion or plan to take home another meal.
