Super One foods impressed my 7 year old grandson who had been to Target and Walmart, so that speaks volumes for their appearance! Produce and meat department are spot on, and the prices are getting better! The bakery IMO needs a little upgrade. Perhaps they could up production a little more so the bakery counter would still have a selection after 5pm? They could always donate day old to the Salvation Army, or Food shelf's? Good for the tax write offs at the end of the year as well, win, win! The self checkouts don't accept cash, that's a Detourant for those who are just in and out? The front end of the store staff could probably use a "spirit lift"? Individual Appreciation of employees makes happy employees, which in turn makes happy customers! Food selection is good. Don't like their self checkouts. I always have to ask for someone to fix it and it takes just as long. Just go through the line. The cashier's are nice folks.

This is actually for the new Super One Liquor. I was impressed with selection available. The staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable. I don't often go to Virginia but this makes the trip worthwhile.

It was extremely unpleasant. 1st of all they didn't have pastrami which is odd but ok.....Then they offered corn beef but refused to slice it as requested and this was the evening deli manager. Really? What is the problem? Five employees and they have hour before the deli closes ! Then I had to deal with this kid Mike copping an attitude. Slamming the hot case cover down and rolling his eyes. I told him he needs to stock if he is unable to provide good customer service. That goes for his manager too. I complained to the store manager who seemed indifferent!

Super One is one of those must have places. Like all good grocery stores this one is strictly food so your not off buying items like a new tv, or movie, or new clothes….nope this place is good. Super One often has great prices on produce, meat, and dairy. The wife and I love making salads and have growing kids who live off of cereal and milk, so those deals on milk our always good haha the service from the people who work here are great, they smile, they get to know you, and soon you can call them out by name when you see them. I believe my only complaint about this store like many others, they are forcing people to go to self check out because 1. They are too short handed, or 2. They are eliminating check out by their own staff, which in my opinion is wrong. The industries that are eliminating jobs from people so that people will check themselves may be the way of the future, but I enjoy the interaction between the staff and customers. It makes me come back to shop there. Other then that, Super One is a good place to shop, it’s nice to know where most things are from being a frequent shopper, but if I didn’t I know I can rely on the staff to help me find anything in the store. The ambiance is clean, always busy, and good deals are all around! Can’t wait go back which I’m sure will be soon! This place is gorgeous! Well stocked shelves and great displays. Bakery kitchens are so clean. I love heading to the cabin specifically to get to shop there.

Great variety. Not as cheap as Aldi, but the selection and quality is much better. Plus they bag your groceries for you, and the carts are free. They have a deli with lunch options, butcher counter, and bakery. Clean and bright store, very helpful staff. Once I was buying flowers, and they cashier noticed they were fading. She called someone to get me new ones! They go above and beyond the typical service. Highly recommend.

Miserable person works in the deli who shares their misery. Will not return to this store Have only had 4 bad experiences in this store, 3 at the deli and 1 checking out. One taller "lady " at the deli just likes to cause trouble. I tried to avoid the deli when she was there. one lady at checkout was having a bad day and literally threw my food shelf bag on the floor. Liked the store overall but I guess bad employees exist..

Normally I use self checkout but today I decided to go through regular and some young cashier dropped a donut out of the bag on the counter then swept it back into the bag when I wasn't looking my wife told me after the fact but not cool

If you want fresh chicken (not frozen).Be prepared to pay more than Beef prices for it.Often advertised prices for so-called"Fresh" chicken turn out to be previously "deep freeze" pre-wrapped product that shows the signs of not being fresh.Unless you end up buying chicken at prices more expensive than STEAK!!!Other than that I really like the store,the employees, selection and cleanliness.

One of the only places I go for grocery shopping. They have all the brands and items I buy for my household to eat throughout the month. They also now offer self checkout as an option for customers to use now. The only part about that I don't find convenient is that the self checkout kiosks do not give cash change back. If you always use cards then that's not something you need to worry about. A helpful option they offer is the baggers they have at the end of some checkout lines. I find it entirely helpful when I have an entire cart full of groceries. With the use of a bagger I can just pay for my stuff and instead of then bagging all my groceries I can just go load it all into the car. Also just as a PSA: the workers who are bagging groceries can accept tips from customers.

I wanted to make my mothers 75 birthday special and wanted a cake to help celebrate, purchased a beautiful cake and the most delicious too, I'm not a fan of icing and this cake has a whipped topping which is not too sweet but just enough to make it yummy. This cake made a special day a even more special. I highly recommend

Decent selection, and usually well stocked, modern, and clean. Their method of bagging is dumb. I have no issue bagging my own groceries, I usually do self checkouts, however if someone before you is still bagging, then they shunt everything to the other side and its often a mess over there. Sometimes I've seen employees actually help bag, but tonight watched one just shirk away and avoid bagging. It's a poor model if you're not gonna offer larger self checkouts like Walmart has for larger shopping trips. It's a shame Super One is the only grocery store in the region aside from Walmart and Target, because the service is atrocious.

Great selections in the deli and meat departments including local specialty foods like pasties and locally made sausages. Their bakery is also well stocked with goods you don't find in your typical grocery store.

Best supermarket in the Northland. Everything from the store label basics to regional specialties can be had here. The bakery never ceases to amaze and the deli offers pasties (one of those regional favorites) to die for. The staff is unfailingly Minnesota Nice.

I only shop at the 2 Superone stores in Virginia. Employees are always nice, store is always clean and the money I save can't be beat! I really do like the bakery especially in the morning when everything is super fresh.

As I know where everything is in the store, it doesn't take long to get my shopping done. Everyone is very helpful and the Cameron Coffee on sale makes it a plus since the 2 for $10Is great and helpful to the pocketbook. All in all, a great store.

Their deli is to die for! Fried chicken box was so good, (much better than the actual chicken restaurant up the street!) Deli salads were fresh and tasty. Ended with Friendly ice cream and you're good to go!!

I love their selection, especially in the meat department. They have these amazing preseasoned pork chops. You can also buy the seasoning for use at home. It's delicious on anything.

The employees ARE nice, however, the layout of the store could use some rethinking... the mayonnaise is with the salad dressing, not with the condiments. My wife was unable to locate canned crushed tomatoes in the pasta sauce/tomato sauce isle.

I like the produce usually and the selection of the regular market, but really the meat counter lacks care. Every time I purchase Smithfield baby back ribs, or spare ribs with the bone in, bone chips everywhere. This is the only place that it’s occuring. I won’t purchase meats from there anymore. I took 1 section of my ribs I cooked and counted 5 bone chips, and the people behind the counter verified they process those themselves. Gross.

We should all be so lucky to have a grocery who endures and goes after small market small markets in small towns in spite of or in the spirit of being a Super One. Good carrot cake and ripe fruit. Got to go there on your way to the cabin and now in the back there's a cool new liquor/smoke shop which makes my teatotaller dad grumble. The need a better porketter to really shine on the Iron Range.
