I have taken my 2 dogs to Shaggy’s for many years and until recently have been pleased with the grooming they have received. After today I will never return! One of my dogs had a one inch gash on his leg that was still bleeding. I found it while putting his harness on. I asked for first aid and an explanation. The groomer said it happened because the skin on his leg was “flappy”. I then still had to press for first aid treatment. My dogs have been groomed for 11 years and have never been cut before. Then, after a 9:30 appointment, it took 4 hours to groom my small dogs. Finally, I made a point of telling them how to groom their snouts and what not to do. This was never conveyed to the groomer and what I asked not to happen, happened. I remain livid and hope that the wound does not become infected!

Shaggy's groomers are the best. When it was grooming by Jane the groomers where great then. We had two dogs then and Bear loved going there to be groomed. He was in love with the groomers Melanie. Bear past away 1 January 24. But our other dog Butchie loves going to see Melanie. She treats all dogs as if they were her own dogs. So my hat goes out to all the groomers at shaggy. Where your pet is treated like you love and treat your pets.

My dog was crying for several minutes getting her nails clipped, meanwhile staff laughed and was calling her dramatic. When she came out 2 of her feet were bleeding badly and she couldn't even sit comfortably in the car on the ride home.

They did a great job on grooming my dog. She is a white Husky and was shedding something terrible. The Employee's were very friendly and Welcoming. I will be returning in the future.
