Five stars to Tim and the forklift man from the pick up area, as they were very competent and prepared. Four stars in general because our last supply pick up was a terrible experience and nobody knew what was going on or that they were low on stuff.

I bought a garage door from here last week. 225$ everything included. I installed the door myself and when everything was all said and done it didn't come with a locking mechanism.To top it all off I can't install a garage door on this application.I called menards and they transfer me to a help line that didn't have an answer. So at the end of the day I couldn't lock my garage.

Management went the extra mile with a defective product, they not only helped me during a frustrating situation, they upgraded my replacement and carried it outside! I can’t say a single bad thing about them after this experience.

Customer service is non existent. They’ll tell you one thing on the phone, tell you another in person, and tell your a third thing once your frustrated and want to leave the god forsaken place. God forbid anyone actually helps you find anything. Mega corporations deserve to fail, and this one should be first. Home Depot can fill it’s place.

I am selling a house so I am here quite often. If I have a hard time looking for something I go to the cabinets section for help and look for Rachel and she always helps me find what I need. She is quick, efficient and has a very pleasant disposition. I always leave with a smile on my face because she has a great sense of humor and always tries to lift others up when they're having a bad day. She is the gold standard when it comes to customer service. This woman deserves a raise and employee of the year!

This location has a gigantic problem with customer service. The staff here are rude, the managers automatically assume someone’s looking for a discount. A teller ruined my piece of trim and they assumed I wanted a discount when all I wanted was a replacement piece. Anytime you try to get assistance with something the associates will either roll their eyes or act like you were inconveniencing them. As a contractor, I will gladly pay higher price elsewhere versus dealing with that attitude.

If your looking for help, forget it. Waste of time. They never have what you need when it comes to building supplies. When you order something it takes three to four weeks. Your better off ordering on Amazon(Quicker) or getting a trailer and going to Duluth or the cities.

Menards is a great place for all your household needs. Plumbing, electrical, paint, wood, all kinds great stuff to make sure your house is taken care of. Today we stopped in for dog food and plant soil. I believe the price for dog food is outrageous and needs to lowered. $65.00 for a bag of large puppy dog food is a little much. Other then that I love coming here. It’s hard for me to not find something where I go “oooo” “ahhhhh” and then have my wife go, “come on let’s go, we aren’t here for that.” Hahaha whatever the case is there is a deal and a tool with my name on it. Havnt been? Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

I am a contractor out of Duluth. Stopped by this morning to get some drain tile. I've been in and out of Menards yards for years and have never experienced what I did this morning. Kudos to Joe in the yard inspection gate. He was extremely thorough in checking the loads. Not only was he working, but he was doing an excellent job. He counted the items on our trailer and even asked Ed if it was okay to climb up and look in the dump box of our dump truck. We said sure and he did! The concrete contractor in front of us was not as organized as our set up so it took Joe longer to find all of the items on the receipt but he did and he wasn't at all bothered that we were waiting behind them. Well done Joe!

Awful customer service. Went to get a garage door that was already paid for but on a top shelf so I needed fork lift assistance. I asked 4 different customer service reps for help who each said someone would come out to help but no one did. Called the pickup phone number over and over and no one answered. Eventually found a forklift driver on my own who would help. Very frustrated with this experience and I will be taking my business somewhere else

This is a large fine Hardware place.It has anything from Car batteries to small Screwdrivers. This would be a good place to find stuff since there is a lot of items on stock here.

I rarely give negative reviews because I don't think they're as helpful as positive comments. However ...Enough with the price gimmicks. Just take the 11% off the sale price and save people the hassle of sending in receipts. And stop it with the 15% off what you can fit in grocery bag. I have projects to get built and am very frustrated with this silliness.For the reasons above, I shop at L&M and Ace whenever possible. And they have people that are better trained and friendlier.

Site claimed to have product needed.Asked for assistance and one person tried. But said that it was on backorder and didn't look like any was coming soonWaited 4 hours talked to numerous employees and came up with nothing.On our way out cashier asked if we found everything alright, so we told her.Talked with a manager, all they did was zero out their stock and say sorry we don't have any to bad about your wait!!!It's been a few days and thier stock says they have it again. So much for customer service!!

Very helpful staff !! Greeted by a staff member who got me an electric cart. Nice selection of goods-got help both in kitchen plumbing regarding my sprayer and then in lawn & garden looking for grass seed. Check person was very nice and helpful.

Menards is a step above the national building material chain stores. Wider range of products and bigger selection within most categories. Prices seem more or less comparable with the national chain stores.

Wasn't bad. Thought that working on the entry gate to material pick up on a Saturday afternoon was a bit crazy. Still have problems with getting help with finding what is needed. Seems like the help needs more knowledge about products and where they are. The help with loading what was pre-ordered was very good.

Very rarely actually have what I need. Even more rarely does an employee offer to help you find something. The app is useless for locating anything. It's just easier and more fruitful to just take the half hour drive to Lowes.

My husband and I decided to make a large planter with landscape blocks. On the first trip we bought 90 blocks, 10 bags of compost, and mulch. When we brought our pickup around to load the blocks it seemed like a daunting task. We're not getting any younger! A young man named Brice came over to help. He made the job so much easier! We decided to make the planter taller so have gone back two more times. Yesterday Brice was working again. He came and helped us load the blocks again. He is so kind and willing to help. Each time we have gone to Menards, the cashiers and other employees have been friendly and helpful also. Whoever does the hiring has done a great job!

Two assistance electric carts were parked near the entrance. Neither had a charge. Had to push a cart. We bought the last in stock dual flush toilet in the store. We usually always find what we need.

We had the best service in the yard today. I think his name was Bryan. He told us exactly where we could find what we were looking for and even brought over the fork lift and helped us get it down from the second floor of the shed. Even the second time when we walked past what we were looking for the first time, he came and helped again. Best service we had at any Menards.

This is our go-to home improvement stop! They have excellent selection and we love the opportunity to get rebates for our purchases. It can be a little difficult to find an employee for assistance, but most of the time it isn't an issue.

I have visited this store several times and my expectations have been exceeded each time, particularly in the customer service that I received. Each representative went above and beyond, helping me in the lumber department (both inside and outside), the tools (after purchasing a tool and a part went missing - they were able to quickly resolve my dilemma and provide the part I needed that very instant, but that was NOT in stock), the paint, and hardware departments. These obviously were over a period of several months during the last year. Thank you to each one of you.

I bought and paid for all my appliances in early part of January. April 5th was my delivery date for ALL my appliances. Made confirmation with the delivery team to later find out I was missing my Amana side by side refrigerator. Made numerous phone calls week after week to find out it’s the manufacturer fault or Back order due to COVID. Been told they will send an email to the manufacturer to confirm an estimated arrival. Week after week I still don’t have any answers other than virus related. Again, I bought and paid for ALL new appliances in January. It’s JULY!! Get your act together and find me my refrigerator. Once this transaction is completely done , I’m done with this place. I should of wrote the review months ago. Truly, sick of the games!! Sick of not having a new refrigerator. Sick of not having any answers.

Went to purchase a fireplace that was listed on the website to find it was sold. Drove over an hour one way. Initially, it took awhile to find a salesperson to help us. At the end it would’ve been nice to hear sorry you took the ride over. What’s happened to customer service?

Everyone inside the store was helpful and polite. Needed to get some 24' lumber and was sent around back to load. There was several stacks of lumber in front of 24's. The guy that I assumed was in charge asked me what I needed. I told him I needed a hand loading some lumber. He then called someone else and walked away. I then loaded my trailer and when I finished a fork lift driver came over and moved one of the stacks. Didn't say anything to me, just drove away. Help in the lumber yard was just not there. 5 stars inside, 0 stars in yard. Do not reccomend if you can't locate and by yourself. I know this is true.
