COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR MY GRANDMOTHER LIFE!! First off my grandmother was in the hospital for 10 days in respiratory ICU. The hospital sent over documents to Corner Home and we scheduled an in home appointment to have the sleep machine set up that my grandmother needs to survive the night. Corner Home approved the date and time and I followed up several days later at 9am on the day my grandmother was discharged. Corner Home confirmed machine model, time, address, etc so we were discharged from the U of M and drove 4 hours home anticipating a RT team from Corner Home to be there as they confirmed multiple times. They were a no call no show to the appointment and after calling and hounding them for an hour to get an answer on when they would be there. We were told it was 4:30 and time for them to go home, apparently they didn’t get the EXTRA documentation they needed prior to 4pm from the hospital so they couldn’t do anything before closing at 5pm. There was no communication to the patient or family who set the appointment. With no regard for my grandmothers life all the RT manager (Amber) was able to say was “we can be there by 11am tomorrow”. This is a machine my grandmother NEEDS to breathe properly at night and without it she would likely pass away. The RT manager didn’t care and continued to fight and actually yell at us for this incident after Corner Home failed to communicate that they wouldn’t show up to the appointment. They were completely unwilling to have a tech stay an extra 3 hours to get the machine to my grandmother and ensure her safety throughout the night. We are now driving her to another hospital (after JUST being discharged the same afternoon) to be on a machine over night so she survives the night as we are waiting on Corner Home. Absolutely disgusted by the situation and how the team at Corner Home handled it.

This place is a dumpy hole in the wall. They told me they couldn’t find my insurance information because their computers couldn’t verify UCARE insurance! WTH?? That was only one of many disappointing visits I’ve had at this place! The latest, I went in to pick up CPAP filters and the woman asked my name and B-Day and then said nothing else. She sat and looked at her computer, moving the mouse once in a while. I finally just asked her if she found me in there. She said yes but I don’t know if you need a new prescription. I told her I just saw my doctor and I was only getting filters and a cushion. After a few more minutes of this lady not knowing what she was doing, she decided to call someone to ask if she needed a new prescription. Thats when I had enough, and just told her and others around me every time I come into their store there is some kind of problem or issue that no one knows how to solve. !!This company needs to seriously consider giving their staff more training before putting them into the store. They look like fools and turn away a great deal of your customers!!!

It's hard to tell by the photo 📸 I have provided but the wheelchair that was dropped off to my client by Corner Home Medical was child size/small adult at best, not for a 200#+ adult! Delivery person just left it here fully realizing my client could not fit into it. It was NOT Dr. Smith that made the mistake (verified by his nurse) but Corner Home's ignorance of the whole situation. They wanted me to spend MY time and MY gas to return the wheelchair with NO exchange! Do as u wish but I certainly would NEVER do business with this careless, insensitive business again unless absolutely HAD TO! It was a fight with insurance to get this all straightened out, a minimum of 5 hours of my time with original calls, call backs, etc. No apology from Corner Home at all but my client and I are expressing our frustration in this way to get the word out!

Amy was awesome. Just walked in. Paid for my Father's scooter. Out the door I went.Leah was wonderful. She knew I was pressed for time. She took care of everything over the phone. So when I walked in Amy knew what had to be done.Wonderful team work.

Very poor communication. 11/15 I needed a knee scooter, was supposed to pick up from Virginia but they were unable to get it ready in time. Annastasia was very helpful sending the order to the Grand Rapids store. The ball gets dropped from there. I called on 11/16 was told they were waiting for insurance-obviously the didn't look very well as Annastasia said it was already approved. They weren't sure they had one in stock either but someone would call me right away. 11/20 I get a call wondering when I was going to pick up the scooter, it had been ready since 11/17! It is difficult to pick something up when you don't know what is happening. Terrible customer service, they really don't care about you. Only reason this isn't one star is Annastasia.

My husband and I were very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and courtesy of Leah as she helped us get set up with our new machines. Our past supplier was difficult to work with and several times cancelled my husbands orders. It was so refreshing to have someone that could help us with selecting a different mask and get our supplies. I would definitely recommend Corner Home Medical.

I needed headgear for my cpap replaced as our new dog decided it would make a good chew toy. I was in and out of the store in about 5 minutes. Anastacia even had to pull up my insurance to see if I was eligible to replace it.

They will not come pick up the medical supplies that I have not used in a year. They are still charging my insurance but I no longer have that insurance. And they want me to get a prescription to get it picked up but I can’t get a prescription because I no longer have medical coverage,so I don’t know what they’re gonna do like I’m not paying for it and rude hang up on me all the time don’t call back what a horrible horrible place.

I had a wonderful experience with Amy at the Virginia location. It was March 6th or 7th I can’t remember which day. I came in to get my prescribed breast pump and they weren’t sure if they’d have one approved by insurance before the next day. I don’t know how but Amy had it approved within the next hour or so. Thank you Amy, from this new mom.

Andrea went above and beyond to find my settings on a 10 year old cpap machine. She made many calls and didn't give up until she got the info. Thank you, andrea! I made an appointment with Leah to get my new machine, and even though I am a longtime user of cpap, she took the time to make sure I understood the new machine features and was comfortable with my mask choice. Thank you leah! I would also like to say the desk staff was very kind, discrete, professional.

This is the second time I have helped a family member taking care of them in hospice. Ken was extremely, efficient, helpful and friendly. He had great communication, very knowledgeable, and had everything set up in a short period of time. Thank you Ken for making life easier during this time.

Try not to get hooked up with them. When you need to order supplies you will have to play phone tag forever. No one ever answers when you call. You leave a message to say just send the things I'm eligible for and you get a message back saying they need to speak with you and go through a process every time you need supplies. I have more important things to do then sit on hold forever and then finally go to voice mail after 6 minutes. Then they leave you another message.

My husband is recovering from surgery and Anastacia was very helpful in measuring and fitting him with compression stockings. The store has quite a selection of compression stockings and Anastacia was able to assist in finding the best pair for him. The stockings have greatly aided in reducing his post-operative swelling. Anastacia also went above and beyond to obtain a cold therapy machine from another location. She kept us in the loop during the whole process. Thank you, Anastacia, for the excellent customer service!

After having spoken to the staff at the Virginia, MN location I feel strongly that 1 star is entirely gratuitous and it it were possible to give negative stars, I would. While this medical supply store appears to have more restrictive policies in place than most that prevented us from resolving our needs (which a competitor did resolve and save our vacation), it’s not their rules that led me to this review. The person I spoke with on the phone was condescending, rude and patronizing....causing me to waste valuable vacation time with my husband. Zero empathy or courtesy. I guess it’s a good thing they have a pretty captive market up here in the Northwoods, I’m just shocked the good people of the area would put up with such rude behavior.

The staff was helpful & knowledgeable. They're willing to answer my questions in a polite & courteous way. My doctor would call for my equipment & when my cane was in they would call me. I didn't pay a dime. Everything was taken care of.
