Holmberg Orchard is just opening up for the season, they do have some of the different varieties of delicious apples, they have frozen Apple Pies & Apple Crisp, frozen apple cider freezes, neat items and candles for your home. They have A Pumpkin Patch and activities and nice displays the kids can explore. They also have a food stand for hours, call ahead, or check on Google for further information.

We've never been before and decided to visit because of a few friend recommendations. They had a petting zoo and fall fun day, both this afternoon, and we decided to check them both out. The petting zoo was small, but the animals were amazingly mild tempered, loved the food, and seemed happy for the attention (vs bored/uninterested/uncomfortable). There was also a train ride, a tractor ride/tour, a corn maze, and some small games that the kids could play. That all happened before we even made it to the apples. It was a bit busy, with the two events going on, but there was still plenty if room for our boys to run and play. They loved the corn boats the most.The apple picking was great too, we had to walk almost to the end, but there were lots of interesting things to look at on the way and the area where we could pick was marked and easy to see and stay in. We could see other people around, but it still felt like we had our own little patch. There were plenty of apples still on the trees and they looked delicious!They also had a food truck there. The food was fine, a bit of a wait, but the real show stopper was the Caramel Apple Delight (raw apples with caramel, whipped cream, and cinnamon), and the Fried Apples (warm deep fried apples drizzled with caramel). Our kids enjoyed the delight while my husband and I much preferred the fried apples. Both were fantastic and a fairly good size to eat alone or share.Everything was free aside from the apple picking and food.Overall, it was a cheap day for our family and hours of entertainment for our kids (we got there at 2 and didn't leave until 5). We can't wait to go again!

Very Family Friendly! No charge for admission, hay ride, or kids play areas. Free to pet the animals. They had goats, lambs, ducks, a small cow, horse and donkey. Bring quarters for treats for the animals if you would like. The apples were easy to pick and easy to access the orchard. We will be back next year, Thank You!

Wanted something to do for my sons birthday and our family went there and it was so not what I was expecting.....IT WAS BETTER, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

To begin with it was 12:30 and the sloppy Joe meat wasn’t even hot. The food was cold. The hamburger didn’t taste good. And the food staff was horribly disorganized and we had to wait so long we just left and lost $7 since they were only giving out part of your order.

Great place to take the kids. Plenty of fun activities. The caramel apples and apple crisp are absolutely fantastic. And of course you can't leave without a bag of honeycrisp apples.

My little girls, both under 6, enjoyed all the kid's activities, inflatables, picture ops, train ride, wagon ride, play ground, corn boat, corn maze, pumpkin patch, gift shop, concession stand.

This is a great orchard for little kids! They had tons of inflatables, a maze, pony rides, and what looked like could be a petting zoo. However for older people, this orchard is a little small and high priced. You could go look at the apple trees but you couldn’t pick your own apples off of them like some orchards I have been to. This would have been nice because we could mix and match the kind of apples we wanted. However, the apples are delicious! We got a peck of honey crisp apples. The caramel apples are also very good!

Was very disappointed that masks were not required, especially in the store. Even the two girls behind the counter waiting on the customers were not wearing masks. When I questioned the girls regarding masks, they were very nonchalant and said it depends on where you are. I thought masks were mandated in MN for all indoor businesses.
