Amazing zoo! It's small, but super kid friendly! My 2 yr old was able to feed almost every animal. We spent 2 hrs there, and could have stayed longer! They sell cups of feed & cups of carrots, so no need for quarters. The park isn't super stroller friendly, but I made it around twice with my double stroller. You are able to get close to the animals, which is nice for little ones. There is a covered pavilion, you can bring your own food, and a little playground. There's benches everywhere and lots of shade spots. They have a fun variety of animals, we fed a camel, and got to see a warthog, baby bears, zebras, elk, monkeys & emu! Great drive from Fargo, just under an hour through rolling hills and lakes. We arrived right at 10AM and it wasn't very crowded at all. Highly recommend! š š š

Awesome little zoo. My kids and I had a blast seeing and feeding all the animals. Get the bucket of food so you donāt run out, itās worth it to have enough for all the animals. Also, be sure to bring quarters for the cheerio machine for the lemurs and raccoon.

Such a fun zoo with interesting animals! Although it isn't paved, it's easy to walk and the animals come so close to you, especially if you have some food to feed them. I highly recommend making the trip to see it!!

Such a fun little zoo! I wasnāt expecting much, to be honest. But Iām happy to report that that expectation was completely shattered. This place is so much fun and great for a quick family outing. The highlights include being incredibly close to the animals, being able to feed them (extra cost, but very cheap for the fun), and the relaxed and fun environment.

This zoo is absolutely spectacular! There's no magic frills or gimmick, but a sweet and simple experience. It is exceptionally clean and very reasonably priced. I went with my two-year-old daughter and she was enamored with all the different animals. It was so fun to feed all the different animals and the petting zoo part was very accessible and abundant with animals. There is such a unique variety of species and all very easy to admire and see. Highly recommend!!

The Trowbridge zoo is a small family run zoo that offers a nice assortment of well cared for animals from around the world. Visitors have the ability to feed some of the animals via chutes providing some interactivity and encourages the animals closer to the fence for a better view. For the kids, they have smaller goats, sheep and donkeys to interact with along with a small playground and camel ride. The owners are friendly and fun to visit with. It's clear the zoo is a labor of love for them and it shows.

Seemed like a very random place for a zoo but glad it was there. Small compared to big city zoos but was very well kept and clean, animals were friendly and active so we were able to see them all. Also a good variety of animals for a smaller zoo. Low cost as well, good quality for the price. Kids enjoyed it, would go back again.

The Trowbridge Creek Zoo is a little treasure in the middle of nowhere. It is loaded with a wide range of animals. They sell feed mix that many of the animals can be fed. You have to send it down tubes in most cases, but some small animals can be hand fed.I have been to a number of zoos over that last few years. This zoo had a lot of animals that I have not seen before. I was able to hand feed a small camel and zebra. And I finally got to see a capybara in person. It is small, has gravel paths, and lacks any amenities. But it is a wonderful zoo. Go there!

This place is horrific. The majority of the animals do not have enough space whatsoever. 2 bears in a tiny cage, 2 bobcats were also in a cage the same side and were pacing the entire time. There were about 4 african porcupines in a space even smaller than the bobcats. Alligators definitely didn't have enough space either, their pond was big enough for maybe one to sit in. It seems there's almost always a goat with its head stuck in a fence. I had to walk all the way back to the front desk to notify someone and they didn't seem surprised. Once they clipped the fence to get the goat out, less than 5 minutes later another goat got its head stuck. GET BETTER FENCING. No one was watching the goats either so who knows how long they're stuck before getting help. I started to cry once I saw the black African swan. It's flying wings were clipped and the remainder of its feathers were mangled. He was also nibbling at the rusted poles in the water. Swans are also social birds, he looked miserable. Not to mention so many of the birds had feather damage from rubbing on their cages trying to get out. The animal enclosures force the animals to be on display 24/7 with no option to hide from guests. They're stressed out, depressed, and most are showing signs of zoocosis. This place is disgusting.

My family found this place entertaining, but there were many things that made it quite depressing for me. We only ever saw one worker when we paid so the entire zoo of animals was unsupervised. Multiple hooved animals were fighting (large ones bucked smal ones), one of the small sheep had a fist sized gash in its hind that was red and white and swarming with flies, the enclosures were lacking and made me feel sorry for the animals, the lemurs had 2 sorry swings and were all huddled on the ground together and looked sad. The 2 alligators had maybe a bathtubs worth of water which is ridiculous. This place made me want to look up how to report poor animal care.

We have taken our grandson to this zoo each year and loved it, unfortunately this year with friends was disappointing. Two foxes are full of sores that need to be treated. The hooved animals are in desperate need of hoove trims. The China deer has one broken off and the other is so long he has to walk funny because it keeps catching. To further our disappointmemt the petting zoo in Vergas the young girl sent to pick up the animals kept hitting the donkey on the nose and the young man dragged the goat to the trailer.I realize herding the animals can sometimes be challenging but the way they were handling was not called for the animals were happy to get out of the sun from the area they were in.Please get some vet attention for the 2 foxes in the cage of 5, get your animals hooves taken care of and monitor your staff!Your prices have gone up and your care has gone down. š

Very cool little zoo! Adult tickets were around $10 per person. You can feed animals they sell full red solo cups of food for a $1 or buy a whole small small pail for $5. We went with the pail fed little bits here and there till the end. We spent about 1 hour to an hour and a half walking through and really enjoyed it. They have a variety of animals to name a some of whatās there; different varieties of deer, sheep, goats, monkeys, camels, parrots (they speak/whistle little!), emus.

Great hidden gem! This is a small family owned zoo that really impressed! You get SO CLOSE to the animals, like within a few feet. And they are all very friendly and eager to see us humans. It may not have the most exotic animals, but being able to get so close to what they do have really sets this zoo apart. Itās almost a more pleasant experience than the MN Zoo.Highly recommend!
