I used my green card at seagren's store in two harbors went next door and found my purchase was $2.67 CHEAPER at super one took my purchase back with my receipt s.s.i. green cards are not loadable. The cashier guy was nice but the short lady older with glasses was rude from the get go she took my card from me and held it till she said she was getting the owner of the store I'm disabled of course this is why I asked for a place to sit and wait she pointed to the outside furniture so I sat and waited for the owner then this young girl with glasses dark hair showed up and walked my card back to me and said that seagren's couldn't refund my cash they don't refund government issued cards she kept saying E cards i don't know what a E card is.I had to get a card for their store I told them I didn't want to purchase anything at this racist store. They took my bag put it behind the counter with my receipt so I went to my car grabbed my phone they gave my card & i told her I had other purchases on my receipt she put my bag back on the counter I grabbed my receipt and I asked her are u really keeping my merchandise she stared at me grabbed the bag threw it under the counter. Never again ugh!!When I told family-friends they said that's a bad store the owner just followed a guest out of the store and physically assaulted him by punching the guest a few times scary.....

I call this the Everything Store. There is always someone very near, who will find a thing for me, or lead me to it. I have very rarely been unable to get what I want. There are other categories here besides hardware. So much stuff here, it is probably simpler to just ask for it.

As a regular customer, I have to say that this hardware store never fails to impress me with their excellent customer service. Mary up at the cash register is truly amazing. Every time I've checked out with her, she's been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Its always a pleasure to shop there and interact with such great staff. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Grace who asked if I needed help. I asked to be pointed to the plumbing department, and she Grace-iously walked me there. Although she didn't know the answer to a question I asked, she summoned help which arrived shortly to solve the issue. Good people. Prices are fair.

If there was a chance to give 0 start, it would be FAIR. Man on receiving office has ZERO SELF CONTROL, ZERO RESPECT for drivers and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Is that how you treat ppl who bring you products??? DRIVERS DONT RECOMMEND YOU MAKE DELIVERY HERE. The WORST experience ever š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®

We were camping near by and thought we would need to make a long drive and spend a day of our vacation hunting down parts to fix our RV plumbing. Right when we walked in Mary B was there ready to help us. She was knowledgeable about the store, brought us right to what we needed and was so friendly. This is exactly what I love about Two Harbors. The shops and the staff are always amazing but Mary was so quick and helpful! Thank you so much!!!

Grace S. helped us find a protractor. She went to multiple places and walked us to exactly where they were located. She was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. I appreciate the fact that as soon as you walk in they ask if they can help you find anything! I had the pleasure of working with Dalton on 7/3. I was walking in the store, he was in front of me, held the door and asked "can I help you find something". Yes, I am in need of an HD antenna for the cabin. He new exactly what isle it was in, and talked through the different items on the shelf. I picked one out and he asked, "what else can I help you find". I needed a grill basket and a small patio table. He took me right to the area where the grill supplies were, and they didn't have the small patio table I was looking for, but offered to order if needed. He was courteous, patient, helpful, new which isle to look in for items and overall a very nice person. Customer service at its best for this guy!! I will come back every time we come up to the cabin when I need something.

Great products and a nice inventory. Nice employees, and fair price.Various numerous occasions have had this experience: Need item ⦠Drive 6 miles to Seagrens or drive 36 miles to Menards? I go local and; not open until 9:00 a.m., or āwe are closed early todayāWhen you enter the store you are met with a person who is instructed to instantly ask if you need help with finding something. Too helpful for me. Lastly, the owner is on the floor whoās demeanor gives the feeling to outsiders that his employees are under the watchful eye of an unappreciative unhappy stressed boss. Nothing cheerful is exchanged.Of course we donāt understand the weight as customers but is it necessary we do?

I had limited time and had to get a specific screw to get my new drawer handle on my bedroom closet door. I was looking in the right area, but felt like I was standing in a library with no idea about the dewey decimal systemājust a lot of little drawers with screws of many types before me. Along comes Garret, an extremely helpful, knowledgable and respectful person. He helped me find my āmetricā screw, taught me how to understand the screw āfiling systemā, and all without even a hint of being condescending or dismissive to me. So wonderful and so actually helpful.I told him he needed a raise, there was no way he was being paid enough!Seagrenās always asks as you walk in the door if they can help you find anything. Well, yes! You really can help me find something I need. Thank you.

Let me tell you my entire experience at Seagren's Home Hardware Outdoors in Two Harbors.I went to this store on Tuesday September 7th, 2023. I went with a plan of getting a dog leash for my goldendoodle, after I forgot mine at home. I walked through the automated doors and was immediately greeted by a sweet and thoughtful associate, Grace. She asked if she could help me and she could, as I didn't now where anything in the store was.Grace knew exactly where to go, showed me the styles, and I chose. I explained that my doodle was a little girly, so I had picked a pink leash. Grace turned and recommended a light green one instead. To be honest, she was right!Seagren's may not know what a great employee they have in Grace, but I truly appreciated her help in making my decision.Grace deserves a raise! So attentive and kind, even humble. 'Thank you, Grace!

Its a great hardware store. Usually have what you need and save you a trip to Menards all the way down in Duluth. One of the sales people named Grace has been very helpful on a number of visits. She saved me alot of time helping me find what im looking for as soon as i walk in the door. Thankyou Grace.

I will start off my review that Iāve had a lot of good experiences at Seagrenās which is why this is a 3 star review instead of a 1 star. My issue is that I recently bought a Daisy Powerline 880 air rifle from Seagrenās. I took the rifle straight home from the store, put BBās in the rifle and realized that the rifle wouldnāt hold air and unusable upon purchase. I called Daisy customer service and they said the rifle would need to be returned or repaired. The Daisy Rep said some stores allow returns and if there were no āall sales are finalā signs then it was likely returnable. I immediately called Seagrenās and told them about the issue and they said they would check into it and call me back. I received a call back within a few minutes and they told me that all air rifle sales were final and that I would have to contact the manufacturer for repairs. I asked them how I was supposed to know that the sale was final and they said it was clearly stated on the box. They said their hands are tied since its a manufacturers policy. I looked at the box and found the disclaimer in micro print. Seagrenās apparently finds it acceptable that āall sales are finalā disclosures are written in micro print on the box. I was going to buy the air rifle off of Amazon but since I wanted to use it that day I decided to get it from our hometown store. Hindsight 20/20 that was a mustake. Amazon clearly lists that the Daisy Powerline 880 is refundable/returnable/replacement for 30 days on their website and in the past they usually send you the new product immediately if you choose replacement. That would have been about 4-5 days of inconvenience. Sending the air rifle back to Daisy required me to drop it off at Fedex. I dropped it off at the Mail Room in Duluth on Tuesday afternoon and get a call later that day just as soon as the bad weather started saying they canāt ship the air rifle because itās a firearm and they need a special license to handle firearms. I tried to explain that air rifles werenāt classified as firearms by the ATF but it didnāt matter. They stated I would need to take it to the FedEx Ship Center at the Duluth airport and fill out the firearm paperwork. I picked the air rifle two days later and took it to the FedEx ship center. The gentleman at the counter asked if Iād like a receipt and shipped the air rifle. No paperwork, no special handling.My points are: 1. According to the Daisy Rep and the fact that Amazon accepts returns of this item, there is some way that Seagrenās can return air rifles to the manufacturer instead of putting that on a customer. If they want people to shop in there store rather than online then they have to find ways to ensure that customers arenāt stuck dealing with products that are dead on arrival. If Daisy truly wonāt accept store returns then carry a different brand that does. Most manufactures that have āAll sales are finalā policies do this because they have quality control problems. If compelled to carry these products, then make signs to inform customers and tell them at checkout. I would not have bought the air rifle from Seagrenās had I know the sale was final but I also wouldnāt have been compelled to leave this negative review either. A businesses image is worth a lot more than a single sale 3. I now have to wait 3-4 weeks to use an air rifle that I wanted to use the same day I bought it. I hope itās obvious how unfair that is to a customer. I could go buy another air rifle somewhere else but then Iād end up with two air rifles eventually, when I only need/want one. 4. The headache Iāve had to go through with sending it back to the manufacturer is absurd. I understand this is not Seagrenās fault but they need to understand the trouble each person may have to go through if more air rifles are sold inoperable. I gave the store a shot to fix this but their bottom line must be more important than my effort and time. If this happens again, Iāll take my business elsewhere.
