Had been wanting to try out this "coffee shop in the woods" for awhile and it did not disappoint. The food was so good and fresh and made to order. We tried the red hash and cranberry turkey sandwich. Highly recommend both although the hash did have a bit of kick to it so just be aware of that! The brown sugar + rosemary latte was so good. All of their syrups were homemade except for the SF vanilla. They also had smoothies, beer and wine, and plenty of breakfast and lunch options. There was a fire going outside and plenty of seating inside with free wifi. Really liked the atmosphere there. It's connected to a bike shop and by a trail so you can head there before or after you're food and drinks!Very friendly and fast service. Will definitely be making this a north shore staple!

Stopped here on my home after camping on the north shore. The staff were super friendly, the coffee and food was delicious, and their service was fast!I got a maple latte (probably the one of the best lattes I've ever had), the english muffin breakfast sandwich, and my husband got their croissant breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend!!!

Find it and enjoy. I find local coffee shops are usually the best. This is no exception. Turn at the Kwik Trip and then look for the coffee shop and bike shop sign on your right. Great seating inside and out. It is hidden, so the atmosphere is as if you are in the middle of the woods. Nice staff. Very good coffee. I had a perfect latte.

I went to the North Shore (Duluth etc) for a wedding near Two Harbors and found this awesome place. The lattes, croissants, and pain au chocolat were perfect and delicious and every single person working there was so welcoming and friendly... But also, there's just a happy vibe that everyone behind the counter had... With anyone visiting and with each other too.The seating is appealing and you can be inside or outside in a beautiful, natural area. What a great place! If I lived closer, that's where I would go all the time!

Amazing food options to pair with well crafted coffee!1000× better than sugar drowned caribou! And owner is so warm! It won me over!Dietary restrictions: She offered gf options

Great spot to enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee. Better on a dry day where you can enjoy that coffee in the cedar Grove. I just got a small black coffee and sat outside for a bit before deciding to take my cup up the road. Busy spot, lots of people coming and going. Nice that they have a wall of art for sale. Dog friendly outside at least.

Cedar Coffee Company is a delightful gem that offers more than just a cup of coffee. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the barista's expertise and willingness to craft the perfect drink to suit my taste. I asked for a sweet caffeinated drink with macadamia milk, and what I received was nothing short of perfection. My husband, intrigued by the barista's skill, asked for their favorite drink and was served a mocha cappuccino. He found it to be quite good, and we both appreciated the personal touch. But what truly sets Cedar Coffee Company apart is the atmosphere. The cafe is cozy, and the outdoor seating is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. As I sipped my coffee in the back seating area, the pleasant smell of cedar wood filled the air, adding to the serene ambiance. The cafe has a clear policy that only service dogs are welcome inside, but all dogs are allowed on their patio, making it a friendly spot for dog owners. We noticed other patrons enjoying the patio with their dogs, and the trail behind the cafe seems to invite exploration. Whether you're looking for a personalized coffee experience, a place to unwind with your furry friend, or a starting point for a scenic walk, Cedar Coffee Company has it all. The unique cedar aroma adds a special touch that makes the experience even more memorable. We'll definitely be returning soon!EDIT: You're welcome! Yes. Feel free to share the review on your social pages.Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy milk options. I got their macadamia milk.

Found this doing a random search and making a quick decision to adventure. Best decision of the weekend! Delicious and perfectly made cappuccino. Warm fresh baked cookies and a delicious beef stick. A must stop. The staff is amazing! My daughter was worried about getting the package of beef sticks open and they quickly offered a scissor to assist. So quick and thoughtful- especially given how busy they were.

Love this place and the coffee and treats as well as the ambience. They have outdoor seating that also allows dogs as well as plenty of indoor seating and windows all around so you really get a nature like feel.Parking: Tons of parking available as well. They also share the building with a really cool bike shop if you need to get any bike parts

Best coffee shop in Two Harbors!!! 😍😍😍 Fantastic coffee drinks - we had the green tea latte - amazing and not too sweet, even though we had the macadamia nut milk! Golden smoother was also great!! Food was also really delicious! Sandwiches were great, bread especially delicious and fresh! Portions were slightly in the small side for breakfast sandwiches, but definitely appreciated that breakfast options seem to be all day! Slightly limited menu options, but most seemed quite yummy! I will say more vegetarian/non options would be great.. also had a chocolate hazelnut Croissant and the latte espresso cookie and they were also super fresh and delicious!! 🍪🥐 And finally - really appreciated that they used sustainable to-go packaging!!

This is a lovely and well-kept coffee shop. Baristas are friendly and my maple iced latte was very tasty. I really appreciated all the seating options and it was so peaceful to sit among the trees. I also picked up some local artwork and a bag of Duluth Coffee Company beans. I’ll be back!

So delicious we went twice in one day! We stopped by for breakfast pretty early today and then on our way back through town we picked up another yummy coffee and gifts for friends (and ourselves :-D) They had great substitutions for my dairy free kiddo so they had a hot chocolate and said it was the best they’d ever had! All the food we had was super too. My rec is the breakfast croissant but we all ordered something different and all enjoyed it. Cool setting, nice vibe. Stop if you’re in Two Harbors and want some delicious (strong) coffee.

Beautiful and well-maintained cafe. Wide selection of drink (coffee and non coffee) as well as options for substitutions/alternatives on the food items. I got the chicken curry sandwich with the gluten free bread and it was AMAZING!! I also loved the outdoor dining arrangement. Great place and I highly recommend for any foodie and/or coffee lover!

Love the vibe, atmosphere and setting. It's like sitting in a cedar grove. Large outdoor space. Art on the walls, clean, fresh and open feeling. Limited breakfast options. Although you want to sit down and enjoy your food in this lovely setting, the food is served to go, wrapped and not on a plate. Not a fan of the plastic cutlery. Good value. Food was pretty typical for a coffee shop. Not a sit down full service restaurant. Solid for what it is. Order at the counter, no table service.Parking: Large parking area.

This was a very picturesque coffee shop/breakfast or lunch spot.*We went around 11am on a Sunday and it was so busy! There wasn't anywhere to sit unless we went outside (which also looked very cool!) but it was a windy/chilly day and would've been too cold for me (but not for others, as you can see in the pic). Tables did end up opening up of course, but I will also say that I only came for a coffee to go so I didn't mind that there was limited seating. If anything, it's most likely a testament to how good this place is.*Speaking of the coffee, it was SO GOOD! I ordered the large iced maple latte and loved it. ❤️ However, if you usually enjoy overly sweet drinks then you may want to add some type of sweetener.*I did not order any food so I cannot speak to that. Maybe next time.*Price: Okay, this is where my review lost a star. Like I said, I ordered a large iced latte and added maple flavor. $8 and some change. $8?! I mean, it was delicious though so I have no regrets.*Overall, I would come here again. Maybe at an odd time of day during the week to hopefully miss the crowds.

Tried a couple specialty lattes, which were good but not earth shattering. Their lattes have more shots of espresso than is typical, which created a super strong, tart flavor than the creamy milky flavor I am used to. I tried the cardamom latte which was definitely sweet but didn’t have as strong of a cardamom flavor that I was expecting.

Really really good bread. All the food we got here was great. The have a large menu with a lot of fun teas. You can't go inside but you don't even need to! There a dog-friendly patio out back that is tucked into a forest. It's definitely worth going out of your way to visit. All the packaging is compostable which I appreciate. It's also right nice to a bike shop and brewery.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Really cool outdoor seating in the back. Shop is also located outside of the city so you feel like you’re in the woods.

An amazing cafe with a bike shop. Perfect! Tucked away in a forest of cedar trees with an outside patio off the back. Nice to see dogs are welcome on the patio. Duluth Coffee Co coffee is served here... great stuff. The menu has all sorts of tasty dishes. My egg wrap was good and I really loved the blueberry coconut scone. Honestly the best scone I have ever had. A great destination to bike to with the bike path leading to the store.

This is a GORGEOUS coffee shop nestled within the cedars that serves exceptional food, coffee, and ambiance. My girlfriend and I like to try a new coffee shop or two whenever we travel, and this is our new favorite. The atmosphere is so peaceful in the woods off the main roads. The decor is clean and beautiful. The food, coffee, and local goods are all exceptional. We loved it so much we went three times in our 4-day trip! We tried the breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, the turkey avocado sandwich (pictured), and the scones. To drink we tried brewed coffee, cold press, and a vanilla latte. I couldn't recommend all of them enough; every thing was super fresh and tasty. They serve Duluth Coffee Co. coffee and make a lot of their syrups in-house. If you're getting a quick bite, you MUST try the raspberry lavender scone; it's unbelievable. It was raining our whole trip but we look forward to trying out the patio out back the next time we're in town (if only we didn't live 3 hours away!). And I couldn't forget: it's attached to an awesome little bike shop that you can peruse while you sip. Two Harbors was in dire need of a nice independent coffee shop, and it's got a phenomenal one in Cedar.

What a wonderful place! If you're near Two Harbors, or headed up or down the North Shore, it's a must stop. Excellent coffee and espresso drinks, delicious menu items, and fresh baked goods. Great salads, vegan and GF options, with farm to table eggs and meat, too. And the ambiance is lovely, with an outdoor patio and local artwork. We will be back!
