They have a ready supply of the things that you forgot or simply neglected to bring Great meat counter, fresh produce, bacon is killer... attached liquor store has a great selection of beer, wine and hard liquor. Been shopping there for years, way back when it was North Shore Market and bottle shop....shop local when e can....5stars

Very nice general store with all needs. Polite workers and respectful, however doesn't get the work done the greatest. Pricing pretty nice. Has less items than a grocery store, but convenient. Very well stocked for a small shop. No restrooms open to the public.

Lovely little spot with a great liquor store! I found everything I needed for my backpacking trip. They had full produce, grocery, and pharmacy items. Also some gift shop items that were very reasonably priced! The bottle shop carried some craft beers from all around the state! I was very impressed.

Wandered into this store about a week ago and now will not go anywhere else within a 10 mile radius! I've found everything I've needed, as well as things I had no idea I even wanted til I got there, and pricing that doesn't make me physically ill. Great folks working there as well. 5 stars says it all.

Stopped here recently for camping supplies, and glad we did: Great grocery selection for a small store. And while attached liquor store has a modest selection of wine and spirits -it features a kickass walk in beer cooler with an excellent selection of craft and standard brews!

Great place to get food and other things needed when going to many of the campgrounds and hiking trails up sawbill trail. Also the closest place to restock supplies when hiking or camping around the area. There's also a liquor store connected to the Tofte general store for those who might be interested.

Cute general store. Much bigger grocery selection can be found in Two Harbors or Grand Marais. They had a variety of perishables and non perishables. Convenient location across the road from Bluefin Bay. I was excited to find my favorite cereal (Blueberry Morning from Post) and Breakfast Essentials for my kids. Good spot if you're looking for just a few items.

Has everything you likely need in stock that you may have forgotten for your vacation or need in a pinch. Because of its location and minimal foot traffic, the prices reflect that and are quite expensive. But your options are pay the price or drive back to Two Harbors, so it is what it is.

This little general store is great. They have just about everything you need. If you are Gluten intolerant they have a few things for you. Outside it does not look like much but inside it is a great place.So if you are passing by or heading to Sawbill to go camping stop in for some if you needs or to say hi!

Wonderful Grocery Store fully stocked ..A Fresh Gourmet Meat counter. Large Quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables.. A huge assortment of cheese, crackers ,chips, Canned Food goods, firewood, Sweet treats, sodas ,fresh dairy ,Sundries bug spray ,lotions , shampoo ,Beer , wine etc. The Staff is Very Helpful ,cheerful and courteous ..Stop by you will be glad you did !

It doesn't look like much, but this is a frequent stop for us when we visit the area. We get gas, a bottle of wine, and some miscellaneous groceries. They make their own pork sausage and smoked fish, both of which are excellent.

Really great stop with unbelievable selection of virtually anything you could want while traveling/camping. Fresh fruit, meats, dry goods, liquor, local roasted coffee, organic and gluten free etc. Wonderful and unexpected!

This is a great store for most of your needs. We have been coming here for years when vacationing on the North Store. We don't recommend the firewood however. It refuses to burn despite a lot of effort on our part.

It's a small town general store.Mostly house hold stuff.It has the best vegetables and meat selection in the area.Gas and also coffee to go.Hadn't been in there in over 20 years.It has grown considerably.

Crazy-high prices, low variety, and no restroom. If you want to pay $15 for a can of Folgers coffee then this is your stop. If you value your cash, steer clear.

HAD A REAL BAD EXPERIENCE USING TOFTE GENERAL STORE!! We ordered a $100 Wedding night gift basket for our son & his new wife from the Tofte General Store & IT NEVER EVEN GOT PUT TOGETHER & DELIVERED TO THEIR HOTEL!!!😡😡😡😡. When we discovered this terrible mishap, we called the Tofte General Store about it & all we got was “I’m so sorry!” from the employee who took our order & “I just can’t offer you any explanation as to why it wasn’t delivered to the wedding couple’s room.” AWFUL!! Such a VERY IMPORTANT, ONCE IN A LIFETIME chance to show our son & daughter in law how much we LOVE THEM & HAPPY FOR THEIR UNION & it DIDN’T HAPPEN!!!😡😡 The ONLY way they offered to RECTIFY this situation was to send our gift basket & pay the shipping to my son’s home. Turns out, most of the original items we ordered for the basket COULD NOT BE SHIPPED!!😡😡. Absolutely NO HELP for us then! We ended up just ordering a wedding gift bast from Amazon, a month LATE!😡😡. The Bluefin Bay resorts RECOMMENDED the Tofte General Store, SO BEWARE of using them for any gift baskets, etc. you might want delivered by THEM!!

Make thier own sausage that is served at the local restaurants. We recommend the wild rice brats served at Blue Fin. The flavor is incredible!
