The Staff are so friendly and caring, I was looking to adopt for a few months when I was told they had some puppies come in and I should come take a look, I reserved one little girl from that litter and the team made sure to keep me updated on when I could take her home, how she doing and allowing me to come and spend time at the location so I could see my puppy. They answered all my questions and concerns from before, during and after the adoption. I adore the staff at PCHS and will always reach out to them first when looking to add to my family!

Nice and informative staff. I have not had pets in my life but my visit gave me the impression that pets were well taken care and happy!I was looking into adopting a dog which I put a hold on it for now because of personal matters. Otherwise I believe they do all vaccination and mandatory procedures before signing your contract and handing you your loved pet!

Adorable dogs and puppies! They have a very nice set up and I could tell they loved each a every one of those dogs. Unfortunately, they're understaffed but do have volunteers! I actually asked to volunteer, however, my time in this state was brief. I was the only person at the time visiting and felt a bit rushed when looking and visiting with the dogs.

Chelsey was great to answer any questions. They don't euthanize any animals unless there is no way to save them if they are sick. They evaluate people who ate planning to adopt a pet. They are going a wonderful service for our friends with fur.

My first adoption here was great! I can tell the staff loves caring for the cats and dogs, and will make sure each one goes to a good home. They are great people running an amazing shelter!

We stopped by and fell in love with a puppy there. But unfortunetly we are unable to adopt her because we are too young (We are 18) and need a parent to co sign??? Which is ridiculous we are legal adults who can enlist in the army and vote but we are too young to adopt a dog. But okay we we'rent too upset about it.. the thing that really made me upset was that the lady was really focused on whether or not my relationship will last. She was worried most of us breaking up and the dog ending back there. And I understand where she is getting at but it made me upset that she kept saying that we might not last. So sorry Blaze we can't adopt you now
