This Place is such a sweet hidden Gem!! Never have I tasted better, more rich and fresh flavors then this lovely unique place. The interior design is stunning and very warming as it is more themed towards a very special nostalgic period, and remaining to keep it that way makes it so special! The man who works there is the absolute best! Super inviting and friendly. Always as happy every single day just as much as he runs millions of mph, putting every ounce of effort into his shop! He's been there over 30 years already and I hope to give Schooney's the recognition it well deserves!! I'm addicted to the malts and pizza!! Super soft and fresh! We were very well accommodated to when upon requesting any alteration with our food/order at all. Very timely as well, especially given the circumstances of the situation at the time, definitely knows what hes doing thats for sure, Lol! Absolutely One of my top favorite places, for sure!! I highly recommend at the very least checking it out!! ❤️‍🔥 I strongly doubt anyone would regret their visit.

We were not impressed with this place. The cheese pizza slices were below average and tasted like they had been sitting there for a while. And although the slices were big, their quality did not justify the price.The malts we had were alright, but they only came in a large size, which was too much.We were also not fans of the decor. I understand it’s meant to feel and look vintage, which is not our style, but if you’re into that, you may enjoy the interior decorations.Finally, the hours of operation differed from what we saw on Google Maps. We could not find a website or phone number to confirm the hours. In my opinion, pretty much every business should have a site and number this day and age that a customer can easily look up.

What a great little place that's very busy. I had a banana milkshake that almost tasted like banana pudding it was so rich. Best one I have had in years. There were only two gentlemen working but they had a system and they got through the line quickly. What a great little find on my adventure.

We took the kids for pizza and ice cream before our hike. The kids shared a slice, a slice is a 1/4 of a pizza. I had a slice and my husband had the Chicago dog. We all enjoyed our lunch. They also have a good selection of different ice cream/sherbet. The decorations are fun to look at and there's coin operated machines for little kids. We try to eat here every time we're in the area.

Pizza by the slice, hot dogs, malts and shakes, so many ice cream flavors, draft root beer and more. All inside a neat old converted general store.This place just feels good. A warm open space with cool decorations and very friendly staff.I think the poor reviews of this place where expecting a sit down service restaurant which is understandable because it is a large building.But don't shy away because it is a little different. This place is great at what it is. A reasonably priced cozy place to grab a slice, malt, or ice cream.

Great little spot with a lot of character! The place is modern enough with a throwback feel. The shakes were delicious and it’s not normally not a “go to” but we also liked their Chicago dogs. Overall a good experience in a charming location. Stop here if you’re in town hiking!

Well if you ever wondered what it would be like to be an a vintage malt shop here you go. Every little detail well thought as well a throwback to the ones that can remember. And the ones that are to young, nice preservation. With its old world taste ice cream. You'll want to savor the flavor. Tastes like the homemade ice cream mom / grandma would make. An oldie but goodie worth the stop 🛑 for a malt

My friends and I came here after hiking at Taylor’s Falls and it was the best treat! The staff was friendly, the area was cute and clean, and the ice cream was delicious. Everyone got shakes but I got a waffle cone with banana ice cream & chocolate. Yum!

Ice cream is quite good, but there is an oddity here. I’m a milkshake person, but the milkshakes here only use vanilla, and then they add flavor. They don’t use the actual ice cream that’s on display. I asked why and they said the ice cream was too hard. Anyway, I just went with ice cream, and it was great, and of the type and consistency I’ve had made into milkshakes in plenty of ice cream shops (and personally made when I worked in an ice cream shop nearly 30 years ago). Go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.Also, they charge $1 for using a credit card.

A little pricey for what you get, but a fun little place. There were signs around that noted no pizza service on Sundays, just hot dogs, which looks to be a weekly thing. A $0.75 fee is added if you’re using card, which they’re very clear about, and it’s really no problem, but bring cash if you’d like to save a bit. The employees were really sweet to everyone!

This has always been my favorite ice cream shop growing up. Just went and it is great, they sell a lot of old school sodas, 1919, great ice cream, and pizza. But my understanding is they don't sell pizza on weekends as they didn't have it today and had a sign. We tried the lemon sorbet and the rootbeer float, both were really good. The location is super nice and beautifully located. This is the spot to go to after a walk/hike around the Taylor's falls area.

My wife, daughter and I stopped in during a day trip and had thee absolute best shake we've ever had! The shop has a really fun vibe, the staff is extremely nice and the ice cream is amazing!! Highly recommend stopping in if you are ever in Taylor's Falls, Minnesota!

Nice ice cream and pizza shop. Pizza is good and they have a wide variety of flavors. They also have a bunch of different sodas and malts. I didn’t care for the $1 charge for using credit cards.. and there was a lot of flies in the place. Overall, it’s a good place to check out when in town.

My go to spot for ice cream in a nice atmosphere full of friendly faces! Had my first banana split here and I'm glad I did, it was so delicious. If you haven't been here yet, don't wait any longer to stop in and see for yourself.

I had a great experience here. I really liked the atmosphere and the staff was friendly. Great pizza and I loved my malt! I had them make it with hot fudge and cherries just like my grandpa used to. It was perfect. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Overpriced, stale, greasy pizza. It looked like it had been spinning around under a heat lamp for half the day. They had a good sound system and cool benches/plants, but the atmosphere/decor was overcrowded and ordering was confusing.
