If you picture in your mind what the bookstore on Main Street in Stillwater will be like you will be correct. Has all the popular new NPR type lit fic and a nice coffee spot in the back. It's cute but they don't have much in the way of stuff that I actually read which often skews more towards genre and experimental, so I didn't pick anything up, but it's a nice shop!

I absolutely love Valley Bookseller. It's connected to a coffee shop, which is an extra bonus to visit them in person. Great service, lovely variety and extremely helpful in ordering anything they don't have on the shelves! They're extremely supportive of local authors and a great spot to hit up for Stillwater/MN history.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, inviting me to take a seat and savor the ambience.As I continued to explore the shelves, a kind and knowledgeable staff member, approached me with a friendly smile. Sensing my interest in local literature, she enthusiastically recommended a novel by an up-and-coming Stillwater author. Intrigued by her passion, I took her suggestion and purchased the book without hesitation.To my delight, the novel proved to be a captivating read, immersing me in a vividly painted world of intriguing characters and a thrilling plot. I couldn't be more grateful for her recommendation, as it introduced me to an author whose work I now eagerly anticipate.Valley Bookseller truly embodies the essence of Stillwater, offering not only a diverse selection of books but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to linger, engage with the staff, and discover something new. Wife and I love this bookstore. It's a tradition to visit whenever we are in Stillwater. Is there any better smell than a coffee shop within a bookstore? Staff is wonderful with suggestions.

For a small bookstore this is a fun place to visit. Many books have hand written reviews next to them. The new coffee shop was a great addition. The restrooms could have been cleaner. Also it felt cramped with very little space to read. Overall I think they did a great job with a small space.

This is one of my favorite spots in Stillwater. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have something you're looking for, they will order it right then. Now that The Daily Grind Coffee Shop has moved in , you can enjoy coffee while you browse!

Small bookstore in downtown Stillwater with coffee shop in the back. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of local authors and books about the area. Great summer reading program for children. Offer trolley rides (small fee) during Summer up to Pioneer Park on Saturday mornings.

I was expecting a used bookstore, and they aren't, so was a bit disappointed there. The selection is nice though, and the cute little attached coffee shop is great. Had a fun time perusing.

An excellent ans classic Main Street USA bookstore. Staff are always very helpful and if they cannot find what you are looking for, they can order it. Gift items too such as small toys, stuffed animals, reading glasses, and calendars.

This is a wonderfully chestnut bookstore with lovely gifts as well as books. I clean sways find something wonderful at Valley Booksellers! Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly! It's a great place to browse!

Great place to get books!!! and if they don't have the book your looking for they will order the book no extra charge just pay for the book. The Valley Bookseller also has a nice little coffee shop connected to it!
