Stopped here several times over the last few weeks while working in the area, the staff are very professional and the blizzards are loaded with the mix-ins (cookie crumbles, etc). They don’t skimp like a lot of other DQs. Best Dairy Queen location I’ve been to by a long shot! Very well ran! Keep up the great service!

It was fine. It’s one of the last walk up dairy queens and Minnesota, so if that’s your thing and you’re at the right place. However, it’s basically just a Dairy Queen

This place is legendary. Always terrific food and service, right across from the lake. Love the old DQ sign. Sometimes you have to wait several minutes, but hey, more time to hang out with friends, and make new ones! It's take-out only, but with several outdoor tables to sit at, or bring your pick-up and sit on the tail gate. Plenty of parking space, in the parking lot, on the street, or across the highway by the marina. A local favorite for decades.

It's the best Dairy Queen in the state! The ice cream is easily better than any other location I've ever been to due to the ingredients they use! The staff is also always friendly!

One of the busiest DQs I have ever been to. It's right by a camp ground and a beach so great place to grab food or ice cream even something to drink. Quick service and we'll made food.

It's an awesome place to get some food! They have a verity of hot food items and their treats are spot on. Plus they were voted best ice cream in MN by WCCO! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating.

Cool older Dairy Queen. VERY busy and great service. They still fill the banana split dish FULL unlike the scrimpy banana splits at the Brainerd MN. DQ Grill and Chill. The Brainerd and Baxter DQs are the scrimpiest I've ever seen.

Best dairy queen I know. Dilly Bars are still made locally and not the generic factory ones.Also has dairy free dilly bars which is great so I can include my kids with dairy allergies.

This is an old fashioned Dairy Queen from the 50"s. Order outside at the windows with a few outside tables for sitting down. For real food they offer a variety of hot dogs. What people come here for is the soft serve ice cream (ice milk I guess). They still had dip their own Dilly Bars and soft serve seems smoother, creamier tasting and firmer than the typical DQ.The local rumor is this is because they still use the older original DQ machines for making it. That's the reason they don't offer chocolate or twist cones, only vanilla.

Dairy Queen is always our first stop when coming to Starbuck from San Bernardino, Calif.My Sylvester/ Berg family roots go back to late 1800s in Starbuck and every time we go there, it is as if my family told everyone we were coming as they treat visitors like family. And the Dairy queen is where you meet the Starbuck smile with the finest ice cream served with pride.First trip to Starbuck, first stop was Dairy Queen, made new friends, and got directions to family farm from the friendliest sheriff I have ever met and all that with delicious treats to make for a great day.Thank you for making us feel welcome with great ice cream and great service and great people of Starbuck.

This had very good blizzards. It's a teeny tiny place so if it's super cold outside bring a big coat because you have to wait outside for your order.

Wednesday October 25,2017 was the last day for the season for this popular DQ icon in Starbuck, MN. They will be back, as soon as winter leaves. Am already looking forward to their return.
