I was really hoping this kennel would work out for our dogs but this experience was a NIGHTMARE. Our dogs were kenneled here for 11 days but it was supposed to be for 14 days. When I dropped off the dogs the first thing was two of our dogs were put in a kennel where there was a poop from a different dog on the cement run. My third dog is a Chihuahua/Doxin mix & he's really short. Since the kennels are in an old horse barn they are using the stables as kennels. The lip to get outside was almost as high as he is tall. Our third dog could not get outside on his own so I asked her if she had some way to make a ramp for him. I told her we have stuff at home that I could get for them to use to make a ramp for him to get up the hump to get outside. She said they had boards or something otherwise they could lift him out. The third problem was our dogs take their medication with a piece of turkey which needs to be refrigerated. When I asked if they had a fridge she said yes but it wasn't plugged in. When I went to look at the place I asked about the fridge & was told they had one, but was never told it wasn't plugged in. I told her this meat had already been out of the fridge for about a half hour, she said she'd plug the fridge in. After I left I sent a text asking if she plugged the fridge in & to check to make sure the turkey was good. I told them that if the turkey was bad I could run them up some new stuff but all I got was the fridge was plugged in. We decided to come home early & to pick up our dogs. When we got to the kennel our stuff was waiting for us at the door except the dogs. We loaded the dogs up & on the way home couldn't help but notice the dogs smelled of urine. When we arrived home I started giving baths because they smelled so bad. As I was giving baths my husband was unpacking & what he found made my blood boil. Our Chihuahua/Doxin mix bed was soaked in urine top & bottom. There was so much urine that it soaked his bed top & bottom & even through a waterproof pillowcase. His bed was so wet that my husband wanted to throw it out. We washed all the dog bedding twice & it still smelled like urine. The other dog beds were dirty from letting them run through dog poop. The dog dishes were so dirty inside & out that it looked like they were put directly in poop. Since we've been home my Chihuahua/Doxin has been sick with the diarrhea & if this doesn't get better soon, I'm calling the vet. When I left instructions for the kennel I said If you have any questions or need anything call me 24/7. Our little dog laid in his urine-soaked bed for days & why his bed was soaked is a mystery to us. Our dogs have never gone potty in their kennels or on their beds & why his bed was soaked is disturbing. I was so glad we came home early because who knows how long he laid in that soaked bed & how badly he was mistreated. Our other boarding place washes the bedding every 3 days, cleans their dishes & pays a lot more attention to the animals & what's going on. If the dogs need medical attention they call our vet but luckily ours have never needed medical attention. I wouldn't leave my dog here ever again & I'm very disappointed that we paid that much to board our dogs for that kind of treatment.

Only place I've brought my lab, he'll be 3 this spring. Always kind, always respond. I love that it's a family business. When I bring my boy here it's like a second home to him. They've recently add a large list of add ons you can purchase while they stay including toys, treats, baths, and dental care. Over all, I dont think ill bring him any where else. I travel 40 minutes one way to bring my dog here.

We dropped our dog Maverick at Paws and Claws for 5 days. Carrie sent pictures one day. He looked so happy. When we picked him up he was clean and his nails were trimmed. A well run family business that we would definitely recommend.

Price is goodWould not let me come see how the dogs are kenneled when I dropped them off or picked them up. They were strangely secretive pretending like a bunch of people were coming so they don't have time to show me how my dogs were stored while I was on vacation. They told me each dog gets a 10x10 space but I have no way of verifying that. With the amount of push back when I wanted to see how the dogs were stored makes me suspicious that's not what's actually happening.Edit: I should add that I literally wanted to walk back with the person getting my dogs and it would have taken zero additional time. If I had to guess during really busy times they might just crate additional dogs if they run out of normal big kennels instead of turning people away.

Always a great experience! New menu of add ons available to pamper your pet. Building was warm even with negative temperatures.

This place is the best. They have amazing communication, clean and spacious space for your pups! We can vacation in ease knowing are dogs are being loved on and well cared for. I can not recommend this place enough!! Our go to place from now on
