Aside from the fact that it keeps being remodeled, it feels like every year, I can generally find whatever I need relatively quickly, although, idk what happened to the cheap "mountain rush" or whatever brand and flavor it was called, but it sucks because I always liked getting my cheap diet pop, especially when name brand stuff, such as diet mountain dew is $2.50 these days and I always prefer to have a $1.25-1.50 option... I know one of two people who work at the staples location, and everyone, including those I don't know, try to be as friendly and helpful as the customer requires. Aside from the personal issues I have because of the lack of that cheap generic mountain dew, which honestly was the best tasting generic mountain dew, in my opinion, I don't see any reason to not recommend the chain, especially the staples based store, as it's a good convenience store. It won't compete, or compare, with the selection of a full blown grocery store, but for a store with a little bit of everything, from food to clothes, to worthless stuff seen on TV, or just generally considered "cheap" it's something I'm glad to have around in a small town without something like a Walmart

Love the store and the new look/layout, what I did not like was standing in line while the cashier was talking on the phone while ringing up the person in front of me and myself and complaining about a co worker. The content of the discussion was far from professional, and was not needed for people in their shopping. It's understandable people will always have issues with co workers, but to do it in front of customers is completely uncalled for and unprofessional. As far as I would be concerned, this should be the one not to getba raise!!!!

Honestly they should close this store indefinitely. Dollar General has good prices too so many locals go there instead. Since the "remodel" they pick and choose when they are open, and the store is still a disaster. Keep the store closed until it actually looks decent if you are going to "remodel". Terrible business representation. Younger employees are helpful but the older gals are always upset and sit outside smoking even when there are customers in the store, then come in and don't wash their hands and reek of smoke. Grose. Go to Dollar General if you are in the area.

They have a great selection of home goods. However, we had a terrible experience with staff. All their "sale" signs were hand written and misleading. When we were checking out, the cashier was not friendly and seemed irritated that we had asked to clarify a sale price. She actually *shouted* the other staff's name across the store, who came to the front and appeared even more irritated that we had been inconveniencing her. Once clarified we left, but noticed on the receipt they had charged full price for an item that was marked as clearance... When we returned to get the problem fixed, again the staff was stern, rude, and very unwelcoming. Stating "yeah, sometimes this just happens." She didn't even apologize. The owners should really take care in hiring the people who represent their store when they aren't there. Thanks to these two staff members they've lost our business.

This review is a couple weeks late getting posted but I just HAVE to give a shout out to an employee named Brenda who was working the morning of October 3rd 2021- BRENDA, YOU ARE AMAZING AT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THE PATIENCE, UNDERSTANDING, EFFICIENCY, AND HELP THAT YOU GAVE ME THAT DAY!!! Lol, you may remember me- I was the frazzled one with the 2 crabby kids and a huge cart load of stuff! You truly went above and beyond and made our experience at the store Absolutely Fantastic! THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! <3 :)

Good customer service! The people that work there are awesome. They are all super friendly, nice, helpful and really patient. I don't know if it's just my really bad luck (...an believe me it is really bad...) but almost every time I go there I'll get double charged for something; almost like when they scan the item the scanner glitches for a second and accidentally scans it twice. Anyway, each time it's happened they've always refunded me and apologized- acknowledged it was their mistake an never rude about it. Prices are great too and they always have what I need and a much better selection of products than some other place I seldom have to shop at.

They have most of what you need, housewares wise, and pretty reasonable. I really like most of the ladies who work here, who try for cheerful service. It's pretty clean, and having some issues currently keeping some things in stick, through no fault of their own (same stuff everybody can't get.)

Customer service is lacking in this store. Never greeted, instead they stare when you walk in and while checking out. Maybe because you're actually wearing a mask, unlike any of the employees. Make sure to listen for someone hacking up their lungs. It's one of the lovely maskless employees coughing into their hands. They get two stars because they do have a good selection of products at times, but I've stopped shopping here as much as I use to due to the lack of cleanliness during covid times.Make sure to double check the dates on the food. Two items I have bought from here have been expired!

Love the people that work there, excellent customer service!!! They've recently remodeled and now offer a wider variety of products and it looks amazing!!! Definitely a good dollar store. Friendly staff, decent selection, and the layout of the store makes sense. Their frozen food selection is a bit on the underwhelming and overpriced side, but it's a quality store.
