Honestly I've been going to this place for years. I'm amazed I haven't written a review for it yet, and I actually feel dumb that I haven't. This place is always a good place to eat for a quick bite whether you're just stopping in with friends to eat inside, or even just running in quick to get something to take home with you. I have always enjoyed the food they had, I've never had any issues with parking. Unless it's a busy day at the drive through I've never had any issues with the drive through and never had to wait that long for my food. The normal meal I get from there which is a 6 piece Chicken Strip Basket, with a lemon-lime Misty Slush and a Mint Oreo Blizzard. Every time they've made that order for me it has always been delicious and I've never had complaints. They've never screwed up my order before, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and the workers always make me feel welcomed. The only things I've ever had issues with is trying to pull out of the Drive through and parking area on the side of the building facing the gas station and that's usually only when it's busy cause you have to wait for vehicles to come through a lot of the time. Beyond that the only thing I could really consider taking a star for, the atmosphere isn't as nice as it used to feel only because it used to have a back area that had a mostly if not fully complete glass area for eating and viewing the surrounding areas. It used to have tons of natural lighting because of that and it was an enjoyable place to sit and eat with my family so with that area now kind of gone to an extent and not fully glass anymore it loses a bit of that atmosphere it used to have. That's just my personal preference and opinion though and I know there are a lot of people who still like sitting back there and enjoying it. So I know that even though it loses that little bit with me it is still a great place to eat and has amazing atmosphere still.Wheelchair accessibility: This Dairy Queen is very accessible and very wheelchair friendly. They have handicap parking right up at the front of the building, doors are not hard to open, the counter is not too tall, and even getting drinks and finding seating is not an issue for anyone who needs a wheelchair.

This place has a bad rap bc of bad management in the past. I have had several recent experiences that are fantastic. Food is fast and fresh, staff are friendly, restaurant is clean, and one of the workers even came around checking on tables while we ate. Come back to Spring Valley DQ!Kid-friendliness: Great food, and allowed us to get ice cream later so it didn't melt while we ate main meal.

The older woman behind the register needs to give up working, she wasn't rude this time but still an issue...There were 3 people behind the counter, 2 were making orders and she was doing the drive up window and cashier. I was patiently waiting for her to acknowledge me, she walked from the window to the 2 girls, 3 times, she finally stopped and looked at me and asked, "have you been helped?" There wasn't anyone else near me or at the register the entire time??I've had it with this place...Bringing busy doesn't give the right to be rude...My wife & I ordered 2 ice cream cones. They were busy so we were patient. We stood to the side, 2 people behind us placed their orders and received them and we Still hadn't received our Cones? I asked about our 2 Cones and was told very rudely that there were orders ahead our our??We finally got our Cones and they were barely over the top of the cone????We won't be back-we will go across the street to the Kwik Trip...

We sat in the drive trough for a good 1 hour after ordering. I don't know who was at the cashier but she needs to fix her attitude. But there is no reason why everyone in the drive-through should wait that long. We have been sitting a extra 40 minutes waiting at the window. There needs to be more workers or they just need to keep up with the speed. I won't be back.

I personally would have a hard time finding something wrong with this establishment. They weren't very busy when I was there around 8 pm. The food was prepared just like it shows in the pictures. It wasn't just thrown together and pushed out. It was some of the best Dairy Queen I have ever had. The service was top notch also, friendly and courteous . Stop in next time you are in there neighborhood.

It was very busy and the staff was unprepared. Staff was chewing gum vigorously with her mouth open. Very unprofessional.She didn't even tip our blizzards upside down as protocol.Nobody seemed to know what was going on...I didn't like how unprofessional they were and unorganized.Blizzards were good, but I didn't get a straw for my smoothy, just a spoonI'm wondering if they know u drink a smoothy or if they think you eat it??Not very clean. We have given this place many chances and 1/10 times they have gotten our order right. Tonight they were not understaffed maybe 4 staff Teens/kids up front and 1or 2 in the back, we were the only car in the drive-through. Inside was dead. It took 10 minutes just to get A mini blizzard and a small blizzard. When we drive up to the window we paid and then we’re given a cone we did not order (we ended up paying for it without knowing) we got our blizzards and they were melted and dripping over the side.(for all over the inside of the car) The kid handed us a bunch of bundled up napkins, and immediately shut the window and walked away.

I was overcharged on my order due to employee (Mackinze) making a mistake. When I politely explained to her that she had over charged me and asked her to void the order and ring it up correctly she threw a fit yelled at me that she was the one that had taken the order and she was not deaf and that’s what I had ordered and said I could just leave if I was going to be rude and disrespectful. She then slammed the window shut for drive through and walked away. I waited patiently until she finally came back and tried once again to explain to her that she had overcharged me. She informed me that she was the manager and if I didn’t leave they would call the cops on me and ban me from the store. When I asked for the top supervisors number they refused to give it to me and once again threatened to call the cops on me. I did end up leaving because I felt bad for the people in line in the drive thru behind me. As good as the food is I won’t be going back. If this is the kind of employees this place hires I will take my business elsewhere.

I ordered a chicken strip basket for lunch on 8/15/23 when I got the basket the chicken was burnt the fries were cold and over salted I went in to talk to the manager Kayla she told me the chicken was fine and I went to get a refund and she told me she didn't know how to do that I paid with a card. The building was filthy like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile. I believe the manager was stoned she smelt heavily of pot not the first time I have went in there and she smelt that way. I will not go back!!Parking: The parking lot was littered with trash including the drive thru

If I could give you a zero I would! We were in line at the drive through waited an hour to get to the ordering screen! Nobody came over the intercom for 15 minutes so we drove up to the window. The manager and employee saw us sitting at the window but started cleaning and ignored us. Finally the girl walked over and said, we closed at 9 PM. We told her we had been waiting since 8:30 PM in line and now it was 9:30 PM. Anyways we didn't get served, and there were still two cars waiting behind us. The employees should have got on that intercom and told us they were closed or even walked outside to tell us! Poor customer service! We will not go back!

Came and ordered a Sunday and two Cheeseburger I get the bag and there's only one burger in it so we re-go through the drive thru and one person saw us and said nothing to us so I went in and she had no customer service skills at all and shrugged her shoulders at me when I said I ordered two and only got one. The problem was fixed quickly but she was rude and awkward and as for the other girl she needs to learn how to count seeing as how on the receipt it clearly says two cheeseburgers not one

The food was fresh and neatly prepared. The restaurant smelled like old grease. The dining room and bathroom floors had a layer of grease enough to slide around. This was not fresh mopped slippery it was definitely grease. 7-12-22 I have yet to receive a reply from the link dairy queen suggested.

Understaffed, all kids/teenagers with no manager helping give direction. Don't waste your time. My ticket was misplaced as i waited 20 minutes then my food finally came out. My burger was burnt, my cheddar nuggets were burnt, and my ice cream had caramel instead of peanut butter.

Plan on a wait. Doesn't matter howamy people are working, it always takes a WHILE. You can also count on your order to be wrong in some fashion. You have to ask for your receipt if you want to receive it.

Have been here numerous times over the years, overall usually have a poor experience. Finally leaving a review since the complaints have just added up so much. Ice cream is served melted, food is served cold, they always forget something. Tonight we revived our food and drove all the way home only to discover there was no tomato. We drove all the way back to DQ and by then the sandwich was cold. The manager was not willing to remake the cold sandwich and he did not believe they forgot the tomato. After some dispute we left with 3 tomato slices. Very poor customer service. Expect to wait for an extended period of time for your food.

Waited over 20 minutes in line to get ice cream. Once we got our ice cream they weren’t served upside down and it was very obvious why. The ice cream was completely melted and running down the outside of the cup on our way out of the drive through. Inside is closed so I couldn’t go back in to ask for new ones. I wasn’t willing to wait in the drive up again for melted ice cream.
