We booked our room last minute and on a week night. From the moment I entered the lobby I was quite pleased with how tidy and inviting the place appeared. The fellow on duty was very pleasant and hospitable getting me checked in. We were once again delighted to find a clean and efficient room with all the necessities of a typical hotel room. The linens were fresh, clean, and free of stains down to the white bedcovers. The bathroom floor. It was quite peaceful overall. A continental breakfast was included. Would definitely stay again.Walkability: Grocery & fuel next door

America's Best Value Inn is a very average hotel. The rooms are exactly what you would expect in hotel. The rooms aren't terrible, but they're not great either.The workers in the hotel are not the friendliest people. I'm not saying they're mean, just not very friendly. As a result of this the atmosphere is not very warm or inviting.On their website it said they have a pool, hot tub, and sauna. When we ask the receptionist about this, he simply stated "We don't have a hot tub, pool, or sauna" I was a little disappointed about that, but my family and I still had a place to sleep for the night. So that's something.They do, however, a complimentary breakfast. And once again it's very average.So bottom line is that if you need a place to sleep for he night, and don't want to sleep in your car. There's America's Best Value Inn. A very average hotel

The coffee maker is placed in the bathroom. Yes. The bathroom. That trumps anything else I could say about this place. It’s a $20, slightly cleaned room, overall. I’d honestly rather sleep in the truck bed.Food & drinks: The coffee maker was in the bathroom. You know, the room with the toilet. GROSSSSSS

The man that checked us in was very friendly, and accomidating. Our room was clean and smelted fresh. Our room was set up with a perfect temperature in the room and this is rare. Room was set up nice, 4 pillows with 2 more in the drawers, they even had trash liners in their garbage cans, and there were 2 of them. One in the bathroom and one in the room. They provided two bars of soap, one to wash your hands and one for the shower., plus shampoo, conditioner and lotions. TV, microwave, and refrigerator work great.I have stayed at alot more expensive hotels and the rooms were never setup like this hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I need a place to stay in Spring Valley Minnesota.

If I could give a 0/5 I would. Everything was dirty and stained. There was hair on the walls and all over the bathroom floor. Every towel we had and got to replace was stained. There were stain on the mattress. I was attending a wedding and wanted to give my shirt a few iron before and couldn’t cause there was sticky all over the iron.and lastly the coffee maker was extremely dirty and gross with old coffee stains and sticky brown stuff everywhere. I am glad I left and didn’t spend the night. The person checking us in and out was extremely rude as well.

I just checked out today after spending 2 nights. They followed the ADA rules and accepted my service animal ♥️. The room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was continental: had bread, pastries, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cheese sticks, yogurt, 3 kinds of cereal, coffee, waffles, juice, and tea. I'm very happy with my stay, the hotel was very nice and quiet. Young man at the counter was very polite. Overall a good place to sleep at night. Just wish it had a pool lol

This is home away from home for us when we’re in Spring Valley. Friendly people and good breakfast. The rooms have everything you need and are always clean. And it’s right across the road from the root beer stand that’s been my favorite literally ALL my life!!

It's a very nice hotel. It has everything I need when I'm out of town for work, specifically a refrigerator. They don't have good shampoo and there is no conditioner. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast has very few options, all of which are since type of bread.

Hotel was nearly empty and they decided to put people in the room right next to us for some reason that were up partying all night. We complained about the noise keeping us up and waking up our daughter and instead of asking the people next door keep it down, charged us what we were told would be $10 to move rooms at 1 am. Super inconvenient and frustrating... but we were desperate for sleep. THEN find out they charged us an additional $30 to switch rooms and are refusing to refund the additional money I never agreed to.

Stayed overnight in a whirlpool suite. Nice and spacious suite. Had two TVs, one in front of the whirlpool and the other in front of couch. Included microwave and mini fridge and hairdryer. Service was good as well. Very polite personnel.

Everything was perfectly clean and the owners were very nice. A few miles from here there's something called the Four Daughters Vineyard which is famous and supposed to be very nice and right next door there is a good grocery store.The free wifi was extremely fast maybe about 10 megabits per second. They have very good room safes but the desk chair was rigid and unpadded

It was a very nice stay. Very clean and comfortable. The room was huge and hot tub was AWESOME. It was a very special Valentine's Day gift. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Stopped in for a room at around 8:30 pm. The guy (owner?) at the front desk was really polite. Told him I just needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours. When I told him I had to work again that night after working 10 hours already, he insisted that I take his Monster energy drink to get through the nigh. Also gave me a discount.

I thought it quite a nice hotel with some minor issues, but for some reason the managers kicked me out and had me trespassed.Definitely a lot of potential with a few upgrades and if management learns how to run a proper hotel business!!!!

A very nice place to lay your head for the night. Nice, clean, warm, and comfortable! The price was great and the staff was very friendly.I just wish the breakfast was a little bit better. Otherwise great place!

The location is good and staff was friendly. The size of the suite was nice, but the jets in the whirlpool tub didn't work. The breakfast choices were lackluster as well.

Worst breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel. Toilet was broken. A/C didn't work. Tried talking with the owner, but he was not interested. If you don't need to stay in Spring Valley, don't stay here.
