Today was the worst experience I have ever had at this store. The gentleman at the checkout register was rude and arrogant. I purchased a number of plants and a large bag of garden soil...there was no offer to load the bag of soil in my car for me. Thank goodness for the young man...a customer...helped me out and put it in my vehicle.

I love this place! For a Small town hardware store, they have a good selection of products. The staff are always friendly and helpful. And if you need something they don't have, they can usually order it for you. As a local shopper, I highly recommend them!

Don't feel comfortable going to this store, a scary man works there, I witnessed him commit an act of violence in a Redwood Falls bar. This store shouldn't be employing dangerous employees. I will be avoiding this place for my safety.

We stopped here to get keys made. The employees are generally very helpful and do a good job pointing you in the right direction for what you need. The store has a variety of supplies for home needs including repairs, garden, yard, garage needs and much more. A little more expensive than the big box stores but also better help and local!

Went in to look at clearance that was clearly marked 70% off clearance prices on sign out front. No prices on product so went up to ask pricing. Cashier said they were 50% off. I asked him about the sign that said 70% off clearance, he asked another guy (looked like the owner) he stated that sale was off. I said your sign is still up. He's says I just haven't had time to take it down. He didn't seem bothered by me not buying them. Bad business practices if you want people to come back there.

My boyfriend always goes to Ace Hardware for all I needs. Today he went in there to buy bait. The employee was bagging the bait up for him and the manager running the store came back there and stated that she will not be selling any of the bait because she wanted for herself to put into her pond! How ridiculous is it to refuse to sell bait to a customer for your own personal needs. I can guarantee that we will be taking our business elsewhere.

They are friendly, but that isn't enough when they don't offer a good product. They claim to fix bikes, so I asked them to fix the gears and alignment and install new tires. They only put new tires on. My parents picked it up because I don't live nearby, and when I tested it out, my pedal fell off (they forgot to screw it back on correctly and the alignment and gears where worse! They did put on new tires though, so I ended up paying $143 for someone to put new tires on the damn thing. I could've done that! I fix the gears myself now, but I'll need to take it in again because I don't have the tools for the alignment. Do not let these people fix your bike, and if you do, make sure that they actually fixed what they said they were going to fix.

Love our local hardware store! Would much rather spend a little more for their great customer service! Always very helpful and knowledgeable. Being a local contractor I feel they sell the best quality products hands down.

You won't find a friendlier or more helpful hardware store ANYWHERE! If you have questions or just need to find the right thing, the staff here are always welcoming and helpful. As well as offering hardware, they have a nice nursery, offer UPS shipping and if they don't have it in stock they are willing to order anything you need.

Clean, organized store and knowledgeable staff. Don't drive to a big box or farm/ranch store until you've checked here first. Bonus: keys cut, UPS dropoff, housewares & some electronics. Even get a Daisy BB gun for your kid.

Needed some garden soil. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes, and the staff loaded it all in the truck for me! Can't say I've ever had that type of customer service at a Menards!
