Clown show. Literally not a good thing to say about this place. Incredibly crammed and impossible to move around with a cart. Guaranteed atleast a 5 minute wait at the register, because the employees are either too busy finishing their cigarette to help you in a timely manner, or they’re not paying attention at all. And the skinny old lady with the glasses is the only pleasant one, otherwise they’re all rude. Hit or miss on if the store is opened or not because they don’t know how to actually pay their employees, and I guess it’s too much work for the manager to come in. Avoid at all costs. I’ll take the extra drive to Hutchinson.

If you've ever been to Dollar general, then I won't try and describe everything there. It's has everything for any cheap items you may want. Prices range from one dollar to fifteen dollars. Great for quick items.

I went in to buy miscellaneous things. one of the workers was just standing there looking into the fridge. Didn't seem to care that she was blocking the aisle. After grabbing what I needed, went to the cash registers but not one person in sight. No little bell to ring. Nothing. I stood waiting for a cashier to see me. 3 minutes passes. Another customer was standing in line waiting with me. Still know one in sight. 3 minutes later......finally here comes someone. I get check out and leave the store...... placing my bags in my car and realized I forgot something. I run back in quick. I noticed the man behind me is still getting checked out, so I fast walk to get what I forgot. By the time I got back to the register, the cashier was gone..... HERE WE GO AGAIN. Waiting yet again. This time it was 4 minutes and not 6 minutes. Pretty frustrating. Come on now keep a eye on your registers. Not just for the respect to your customers, but to prevent robberies.

Staff is very friendly and willing to help if you struggle to find an item. Check out is generally quick and without issue.The store lay out is busy and hecktic. There are over stuffed shelves on narrow isles and everywhere you turn there is another rack of items. It is very hard to maneuver around the store without having to squeeze past overstuffed shelves, hoping not to knock things down. Definitely not a place to go with kids that will touch things.

There was an employee named German ! He was so kind and Helpful! He was such a hard worker he came all the way to silver lake just to open up the store for us he deserves a promotion ! SUCH A GREAT DOLAR GENRAL EMPLOYEE

They pretty much always have what I need in a pinch. Friendly staff, owner has given my daughter balloons, juice, candy, small toys for free. Prices are pretty good, just remember that you get what you pay for it with some items. Some name brand items are priced high.

This is my go to place when we need a staple item quick. They carry their own DG brand of a lot of common household items and are actually pretty comparable to brand name items. Some items are a little pricier, but not bad when you compare cost with convenience.

I love to coupon at DG this store not so much. German the manager has taken it upon himself to make every trip horrible. But Silver Lake, Winstead and Kimball are all must visit stores if you want to start couponing ;) They have great cashier's and managers

This store has EVERYTHING!! It's very organized for how much stuff is in this store.Friendly staff and great customer service. Most importantly reasonable prices! I love the $1 isle!

Go in nobody at the counter I head for the bathrooms first thing. Locked. OK. Find one of 2 employees working who are working together. BTW I'm not the only customer in the store. Then I'm told "leave the key on the counter when I'm done". To which I reply. "OK but I want to buy something as well" snipy ok. Fine with that till this point. I finished in the bathroom and go to the counter and nobody in sight. I stood there to buy my cigarettes for 5 mins. Till the lady noticed me because I started jiggling my keys on my belt to attract attention. I ask for what I want and then have to give detailed description of the smokes I want. Because apparently you can work at a Mini mart or gas station for that manner and not know what Marlboro lights are. Terrible experience

This is a nice place to pick up some essentials. The only thing is this place can be somewhat understaffed. Many times it takes quite a while for someone to notice you and come to the register.

This store has everything, positively stuffed with all kinds of things for home and auto, cleaning supplies, school supplies, clothing, hair needs, make up toys for the kids, and even groceries and energy drinks.

Yes i like this stote even thoe i have never been in it only outside of it. But i can tell you that it was unquenchable thirst like a the needle of a compass drew me towards the pop machine located out side of this Nobel establishment. It only costs .75 cents per can. So all in all id say this places NAILED IT!

Bought some valentines day items that were supposed to be 70% off. They were rung up as the original price and I asked if they were on sale and the employee argued with me about it. Wont be going back to this location.
