My husband and I recently took our Conceal & Carry class at Off Grid Armory and the entire experience was amazing. Sam and Caren are so genuine and informative! My only suggestion would be is to have a couple Port-Able John’s available on class/training days!! But there are a lot of really cool things to look at while you wait! Thank you!

I went to the Permit to Carry class today at Off Grid Armory. Sam puts on a great class that keeps you interested the whole time. You also get some amazing chili at lunch time! Off Grid has so many options and great, informative staff. I will always return to Off Grid for my permit to carry renewal!

I am really happy I took this class. I put it off for months because I was scared. Not of the gun but of having to use the gun. Taking this class helped give me the confidence I needed. By far one of the most amazing 2A places in this country that never disappoints me. Not only a gun store, not only a range, but an absolutely amazing collection of war history memorabilia that any museum would be thrilled to display. The staff at Off Grid is second to none! I dont drive an hour and a half for no reason. I have gun stores 30 minutes away from my front steps that have less to offer in 4,000 Sq. foot of space than Off Grid has to offer in their restroom! If this place doesn't have you smiling with anticipation the second you pull in the driveway, you need your pulse checked! From the second your hands grasp the cold steel double barrel door handles and your eyes begin to sparkle in true 2A bliss, it's almost impossible to put into words that would ever give true justice to what you'll find here! I've been here 6-8 times in 4 years and still find things I never seen anywhere else.

This is the 4th class I have taken, all at different locations and with different instructors, and this was by far the best one yet. Sam's knowledge and passion for educating people about the safe use and handling of firearms is clearly evident. He, Caren and the staff were awesome! I will definitely take my next refresher course with them.

Sam and Caren are amazing! The class moves quickly along and is both interesting and informative. Lunch break is a joy being treated to Sams chilli ! I highly recommend this permit to carry class and Off Grid Armory. You can easily spend hours in there, not just looking at the guns, but it has a museum like quality paying tribute to our Armed Forces.

My husband and I took your Conceal and Carry training. It was a wonderful experience. We learned everything we needed to in a no nonsense way. Our questions were answered and there were no dumb questions. Real life experiences were used as examples and situations we never thought of were brought up and discussed. Sam was our instructor and he shared his knowledge openly and explained things clearly. We were in a group of 70 people. A lot of these people were return students renewing their conceal carry training. The course was broken up in hour increments with a wonderful chili lunch served. It was a welcome break and the chili was great (Thanks Sam and Caryn) This was our first class and the first time I had even handled a handgun. I certainly wasn't made to feel like a novice but I was treated as a member of the community of Off Grid Armory. I learned so much in the class, I could even comfortably handle a handgun, hold it correctly, load the clip and actually hit the target! I am impressed! All that knowledge in just a short time... I will buy my gun from Off Grid, their selection is great. They have ear protectors and everything you will need for a great time out on the range this summer. Thanks Off Grid for a great day and a great hobby for our summers here in Northern Minnesota.. David and Debi Norton class date 3/23/24.

This was my first permit to carry class, and it was great. Everyone was welcoming and wanted you to be there. Sam covered the laws and safety very in depth providing real life scenarios to ensure you have an understanding of your responsibility as a person who is carrying.

Absolutely amazing staff. Everyone was so down to earth and really friendly. The concealed carry course was really well structured and made the 5 hours fly by. 100 percent would recommend you to buy all your firearms from them and take thoer courses.

If you're looking to take the PTC coarse for the first time or for renewal I highly recommend Off Grid Armory. I recently attended the monthly PTC coarse that Off Grid Armory offers and was very satisfied. This is a great family owned and operated business to support. I encourage everyone to give the store a visit and to follow them on social media to stay up to date on their latest offerings.

I was on the fence before I got to the class, but now I am 100% happy with my decision. Sam did an amazing job starting from the very basics of gun safety, to the laws governing our state, and beyond with information. He was able to answer my questions with ease. From my first email to them, so the CC class I recently took, they were amazing, kind, and went above and beyond to find information for me personally, as well as provide an amazing and informative class. Sam was great at breaking up topics, cracking some jokes, but also balancing serious conversation, while keeping the class upbeat and relatable. The range portion was intimidating to walk into, but went by quickly, and the staff are extremely patient and have a passion for teaching. I would highly recommend for any future classes, or even random questions related to firearms.

Quite suprised how many folks turned out. Good to see the interest and gathering of like minded people. Sam and Caren are great hosts. Very knowledgeable of the law. The booklet is a great resource. I will keep it handy for quick reference. The chile smelled amazing and looked delicious. Unfortunately I can't comment on the flavor as I am on a carnivore lifestyle, but it sure was tempting! I totally recommend attending the class at Off Grid Armory. I plan on attending more classes if/when offered. Also, huge selection of firearms!

Took the permit to carry class and it was very informative. Store has a lot of hard to find guns and accessories. Only gun shop around Bemidji that I've seen that sells suppressors .
