It’s one of the biggest cub in town. It had all required groceries and all pharmacy items as well. Compared to other locations this one has more one roof styled (one big room) shopping. More organic can be better and pricing is good and competitive. Varieties on organic foods can be better. It’s a nice store in the neighborhood.

Solid location. People love the bakery, if you're looking for (fresh) baked goods, come early because they go quickly. Not that busy of a location, I've visited several times at different times and haven't experienced a peak time. Although it doesn't get busy here, they seem to struggle with staffing. I spent majority of my time in line to checkout. I was impressed with the candle section I found, solid candles at a decent price. Overall this location gives you what you need, nothing more nothing less.

We don't often shop at the Shakopee Cub, since we live about twenty minutes away, but we decided to do our weekly shopping trip here this week. We went on a Friday evening, and it was less busy than expected. The store is laid out well, and the flow of the store is smooth. I think this is super important in your go-to grocery store. They had everything on our list! Overall, the store just looks a little dingy. It looks like they pulled up old flooring and never replaced it - just cement floors everywhere. The savings don't feel as substantial as they do at other local grocery chains, but there are some good sales here and there. This won't be out go-to grocery store, but it's definitely an option and a nice change of pace every once in a while.

I have three daughters, and I bring them every (4 out of 5) Saturday to get donuts. Since they were little. Staff know us for this. A few months ago when price for half dozen went up we spent a few weeks checking out other bakeries. We've come back because the quality and value is on point. My issue is...whose eating jelly filled? My kids want sprinkles. Often we get there around 9:30 and sprinkles are gone but we ask for supply in back and it's fine. Today I left the kids at home to get there earlier...8:15. And three dozen jelly filled sprinkle donuts, but not one without jelly. And I feel it's such an inconvenience to them and me to ask for their supply 'in back'. Can we think about the kids and get more sprinkles? And just monitor the donut case display and keep it fuller?11/18/23 update: At 8:30am the sprinkle selection was very good. Both long john and iced ring. Chocolate and vanilla. Thank you!12/16/23 update: Arrived at 9am right as they were restocking! Great timing as we needed that rollout cart for sprinkle donuts that had been hit already.12/23/23 update: At 9:10am...1.5 trays of jelly filled and ONE single iced ring donut with sprinkles. Two points, keep restocking empty trays. And less jelly.

If you need something from the customer service desk find another Cub because this location customer service is never open, you have to search around for someone and when you find them they say it's closed because they short staff but you see employees standing around

This is what i got in a bag of onion rings!I called and was offered to waist an hr of time and my gas to get new ones or money back. They over charge and sell this and other bad food.

Cub, please bring back the URBANIZE herbs grown in Edina. The national brand you switched to is of much lower quality. You forced me to buy basil at Hy-Vee, and their aisles are organized by a committee of chimps that can't grasp the principle of putting like items together (see photo).

Editing this review, months later, still receiving chickens and produce that’s way past being expired. If you use Instacart, Cub now has their own employees pick out your food. And make no mistake, they have no interest in selecting fresh, or even palatable food for you. If you are trying to stay safe during the pandemic by not shopping in busy grocery stores, rest assured Cub will be there to take advantage of you. The pic below was purchased just hours ago.

I spend sooo much money every week shopping in this store and so I do not appreciate being approached by some big burly guy as I was ordering chicken from the deli . I had bananas in the cart and my 2 year old wanted one right away and I gave it to her. This guy interrupted me to tell me that bananas are paid for by the pound as if I was stealing. I just lost my sister and I’m grieving and this random guy wants me to know that his boss has hawk eyes and wants me to know that his boss can see my daughter eating a banana. I ALWAYS PAY FOR MY FOOD! Unbelievable!!! I have plenty receipts and stamps to prove it.

I was told that they don't accept out of state licenses for purchase of alcohol during "night hours," pending manager approval. After inquiring further, it turned out that it was simply up to the manager. The manager divulged that he was both unable and unwilling to verify any other license that was not from Minnesota. This tells me the manager was either too lazy to do their job, or not competent enough to verify a license, or entirely too paranoid that someone with a fake ID from Mississippi, living in Minnesota, wanted some weak beer. Barely competent AND paranoid? Now, that's a combination...On the plus side, they were selling alcohol and it was available for purchase to someone. That's a bonus, I suppose.

Make sure you don’t need any last minute things for the holidays on Christmas Eve, or prepare to face harassment from the cashiers and surprisingly managers. If you don’t want people shopping for holiday items because “it’ll ruin your Christmas” then maybe you should find better jobs or a better manager that will staff accordingly. Will never return again after that amazing experience yesterday. Merry Christmas everyone, spend 50 cents more and go to Hyvee.

Today i had the pleasure of having my potato salad from the deli served to me straight from a bucket ON THE FLOOR to the container. When i approached one of the managers she laughed and said she would let the deli manager know when she was back in three days....i am no expert but i am pretty sure that is a No No and TOTALLY gross!!!!!

Every once and while I like to make a Latin dish that requires the skin on a pork roast. This is pretty much the only supermarket in the southwest metro I can get that without having to make a special request.

I usually find what I need here, as they seem to keep it stocked well. Their shoppers for home delivery do a great job, and we've always been pleased with the pharmacy service too.

This used to be my favorite place until they decided not to be open 24 hours. I hope this is just temporary, because now there is nowhere in Shakopee to shop for groceries after I get done at my job at 11pm. Very disappointing, and I will not return until they reverse course and go back to being open 24 hours.

It is not fair that they have taken away the 24/7… people don’t have the luxury of getting food during the day. Where can people get medicine or things they need? This was the only 24/7 place in our city and now it’s gone. Thanks a lot, cub.

Love the location but the removal of overnight shopping is a pain in the behind. Alls well though, they got some decent deals for rewards members.

Out of state ID are not valid in this store after dark. 2 month employed night manager said that’s what they told him and couldn’t do any to change what they said. Very interesting how chain of communication works at such a business is this Minnesota state law? Just visiting.

Gave two stars as the store was stocked and clean. But the ladies at check out! One on self checkout the other on a regular register, standing at the end of self checkout Complaining about 2 workers checking themselves out at self checkout. Very unprofessional along with if the ladies would have been in there areas you could have helped them!

The self check out is very terrible, it's extremely slow had to wait for 3 minutes for the recit to print. They should have more actual registers open not just one, which is always full.

The store was overhauled and looks clean and neat. Cub has always been a good grocery store though I don't care to much for the deli meat. Their produce has improved and looks very neat and well stocked. They have almost everything you will need for most recipes.

They seem to never have the veggies i go in for, one time it'll be cilantro, the next they'll be out of cucumber. Products are way over priced, and staff isn't very friendly. I prefer to bag my own groceries and once i did, 3 staff members came up to take over. I'll never forget the time i said paper bags and the checkout lady started putting some sort of meat in plastic, and i said just throw it in with the paper bag, and she hesitated - stating that the manager says to bag meats in plastic and she'd get in trouble if she didn't - even though i asked her not to. Just let us bag our own damn groceries.

My review ONLY speaks of the floral department. Exceptional service with an exceptional floral lead. She has worked here for a long time - her creativity and skill is superb. I pass by tons of stores to specifically come here for the flowers. Any person I have ever brought flowers for have loved the floral arrangements made by Liliya.

Still my favorite Cub store but not happy with the remodel. Meat department looks barren and flat. Better than all the others thought at instocks, appearance and friendly staff. Love their markdown items in meat and grocery as they are not a corporate store.

I am 75 years old and use a walker to get around. I have a difficult time getting out in the winter, but I still enjoy store shopping. Today (12/29/19) I went to Cub pick up a couple things. I had planned to go earlier but the weather didn't cooperate. I had a store coupon for Kemps ice cream which had expired a day earlier. I asked the young lady checking me out if they would accept it a day late and she said no. This was a store coupon, not a manufactures coupon. It made $1.50 difference in the cost.My kids have told me to shop at HyVee just down the road. I have bee doing that. A much brighter and cleaner store with everyone very friendly. They have even done y shopping for me when I couldn't find items. Many more people working there, and they are always very friendly and helpful. And they never hassle you over a day old coupon. So my loyalty to Cub is over, Unfriendly, unhelpful employees. Sorry.

my husband went to get a money order from this place. he was giving our son a ride who also needed a money order. when they found out that both my husband and son needed money orders they refused to service my son. when my husband decided to approach a manager, the manager whos name is Scot was being really rude and didn't want to hear what my husband had to say, the lady behind the counter said that she couldn't service my son because my husband and son know each other. this establishment has made my family feel discriminated against and honestly l feel like they denied service to my husband and son simply because they are black. also the manger watched them walk back to our car and continued to point his finger and talk about my family to another co worker. I personally will not be spending any more money at this establishment and I advise other black people to avoid this store as well!
