Wonderful service which is so rare anymore! Very helpful lady at the check out who showed me the self service dog wash and how everything worked. Unlimited time which I really appreciate- those of us with 100# dogs need it! The self service dog wash has an amazing set up with all the right tools to get the job done. One thing I'd recommend is somewhere dry to put your coat and personal belongings. Great experience and Shadow even got to pick out a discounted treat at the end.

Brandi is an amazing groomer!! My pup has gotten so many compliments on her cut! Evie came home smelling great and Brandi accommodated my request for very low scented products (I’m sensitive to that) Brandi was incredibly kind and very efficient with the service. I’d recommend her to anyone :)

My first time here. Welcoming, helpful team of people. Rae helped me make my dogs first grooming appointment and let me know about the buy 12 get one bag of food free! The prices are really good here too. Rae also carried my bag of food to my car. Great pet supply place! My dog loved the treat selection too!

Terrible nail trim experience by Kaylon. I have 3 dogs, my first dog was anxious and I could hear her making choking sounds so I went in and the neck collar was sooo tight I couldn’t put my fingers between the collar and her neck. I immediately told him to loosen it. Her eyes were blood shot and bulging because she was being choked! No wonder why she wasn’t behaving. After it was loosened she did fine. My next dog somehow jumped off the table right away so we had to go in and Kaylon grabbed him by his neck despite him flattening to the ground in fear! He wasn’t being aggressive at all and never is. He is a rescue and I haven’t seen him act like this in a year and a half since I got him. He’s totally shut down now and acting traumatized. My dog also broke a nail very short in the midst of that, so I’m guessing he’s now in pain. No nails had been trimmed yet. He rushed the dogs in there without getting to know them for a minute and was completely out of line in how he treated them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had a bad experience at another place (PetSmart) and called Chuck & Dons to get our 100 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog groomed. When I made the appointment, the gentleman who booked it, asked me to call the groomer, Jessie, to make sure they could accommodate my needs (Bentley is petrified of the blower and has to air dry).He was so pleasant & professional while being helpful.I called Jessie prior to our appointment and she had some helpful suggestions (I've never heard of a "happy hoodie").Long story a bit shorter, Jessie was AMAZING!! she took her time with him, gave him breaks, was so pleasant, cheerful and I could go on and on! She genuinely cares about her customers (human and pets) and stays in communication with you.If you're looking for a place to have your dog groomed, you absolutely have to come to Chuck & Dons and please tip your groomer well because they deserve it!! 😊

I wanted to share that I have been using Chuck And Don’s Grooming services forover a year and I am always happy with the results. I have an x large breed dog (Newfie/Great Pyrenees)and Jesse does an amazing job with him. Not only are the grooming results fabulous, but Jesse’s knowledge about how short he can be groomed without hurting the undercoat and what products to use are amazing. Our dog LuDo enjoys going to see Jesse. Everyone is friendly and attentive and treats your pet like it is their own. I highly recommend Chuck And Dons in Shakopee and don’t forget toask for Jesse

It’s been so darned hot - too hot to give my sweet, energetic pup the stimulation she’s needed. Today I decided to take her with me to Chuck & Dons for some sweet smells and treat shopping. The staff was wonderful and since other customers are dog lovers, Sheila got lots of love. As we were leaving I asked about the do-it-yourself dog wash; one happened to be open so we washed and conditioned and dried and brushed and even perfumed!!! She got a long overdue bath and (sorry not sorry) they’re happily cleaning up the piles of dog hair and wet towels we left behind! The ladies who helped us were so fun and made me feel that my dog is the prettiest and sweetest ever. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Had an issue with a delivery. Called and talked with Melissa at the shakopee store, she was so professional and had taken care of the issue right away. Within 40 min I recieved my missing bag of dog food. Kudos to you Melissa. Great customer service equals loyal customers.

Chuck & Don's Pet Food Store is a really nice pet store. First time today that I visited to donate some dog food and puppy diapers and noticed they have a wide range of everything between treats, cat and dog food, and I believe rabbits and gerbils. They have a huge range of collars and leashes. And toys and beds for your animal. It was very pleased that the customer service was excellent very friendly and knowledgeable. Bring your dogs in for a bath or a toenail trim. The staff is very considerate and caring when you bring your animals in for a care and grooming. I enjoyed myself today it was great! I will be back.

I was so bummed when I found out that Jessie (Groomer) was moving to another location. She is so amazing. I just found out that she is back at the Shakopee location, and I have already made appointments for both of my dogs! I have two dogs who are very shy and timid, and Jessie is absolutely amazing with them both. They come home happy, smelling great, and their coats feel amazing. Thank you, Jessie and the Chuck & Don's team!

Lady at the register was more interested in her conversation with another customer and didn't even bother to say have a nice day. I just grabbed my own receipt off the printer and walked out. Seems everytime I have gone in here the service goes in the wrong direction. It's too bad because it used to be a great place to visit.

I love this Chuck and Dons! There is always someone there to answer any and all my questions. I have called a countless number of times about food, dental items, chew stick replacement ideas and never once was I disapointed.They truly love animals each and every one of them and they want me as a pet owner to always have all the information to make the right decisionfor my puppies. Great customer service and high end products, but with prices to match. I love that they will always offer to carry out your purchase (we get a 30lb bag of dog food) and you get rebates/coupons. It was the only place that we could find grain free/chicken free food, but it was so expensive. We've since found a 30lb bag that goes for half the price elsewhere so I don't come here as much but they are are great place to spoil your fur baby.

AMAZING! The staff is always friendly and ready to help me. When I have questions they always take their time with their answers and really explain the products to me. I have even been given samples of some products to try out at home to see if I like them. I have never experienced a pet store like this before. They actually care what I am giving my animals for example the cat litter I use was out of stock in the bigger bags. They had smaller ones but it is cheaper to get the big one. I asked if they had anymore in the back, they did not. However she discounted the two smaller bags to equal the same price as buying the bigger bag and then she said she would up their order to make sure they had more in stock for me. LIKE WHAT! With other pet stores I have gone to I usually get the response of "Sorry we are out" or "We can have one shipped to you". They really care about making sure my animals have the best products. Also, I really trust their opinions and value their knowledge they have on all the products they sell. Now for the cherry on top. When you become friends of Chucks, you get your 12th repeated purchase item for free and you get quarterly rebates. I love spending my rebates on new toys for my dogs and they love it too!THANK YOU CHUCK AND DON"S!

New dog wash stations are wonderful! Super clean, bright, and all supplies are included. However we took our dog in only to be questioned as to how quickly we washed him, why we left collar on and so on. Our pup is extremely people and water shy so we are building into public outings and baths. Frustrating to be questioned every step of the way. Otherwise staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Will continue to visit this location.

I love picking up pet supplies here! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Patricia gave my goldendoodle a quick face trim today and she does great work. I can’t wait to try the self dog wash stations!
