I would 100% recommend sam & Danni’s! I brought my dog Ares there for a week, and when I came to pick him up, he looked at me then turned around and looked at the worker as if he’s like “i don’t know who this lady is let’s go back”. We have been taking our lab mix since she was a puppy 13+ years ago AND now our newest family addition -a GSP to occasional daycare and extended “vacation” stays. We also used their obedience training program for both dogs and couldn’t be happier! They take excellent care of both old and young - we even have them clip nails and sometimes a complete groom. We highly recommend them!

I recently had the delightful experience of entrusting our beloved dog to the care of Sam & Danni's Pet Resort while we headed out of town. From the instant I walked in, I was immediately struck by the genuine kindness of the staff members. As this was our first time boarding our dog here, we're naturally a bit anxious. However, the moment we walked in the doors, the staff put our worries to rest by showering our dog with affection and attention. Their genuine love for animals was evident, and it made us feel incredibly reassured about leaving our dog in their hands!Throughout the weekend, Sam & Danni not only provided exceptional care for our dog but also made an effort to know her personally, addressing her by name. This personalized touch truly set them apart. We are immensely grateful for the love and attention they gave our dog, making her stay a pleasant one.Our experience with Sam & Danni's Pet Resort was outstanding, and we are wholeheartedly thankful for their exceptional service. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this wonderful place for our dog's future boarding needs. Highly recommended!

This would be a 5 star review, except for the fact that they are closed to the public on Saturdays, so if you want your dog to be there on Saturday night, you have to drop them off Friday and pay for an additional night - you don't have a choice.That being said, this place is clean, well run, and the employees are clearly animal lovers. It is a very easy system using their app, and there are a ton of extras you can buy if you want staff to interact with your dog while they stay there, everything from doggy daycare to a biscuit and belly rub at night. If you purchase playtime, they do take pics and post to FB which is pretty cool. Grooming is available, but I haven't used it.Overall a very positive experience outside of being forced to keep my dog there an additional night.

Mixed feelings. We have been using Sam and Danni's for 9 years. Until now. For our last Vaca we kenneled our dogs with community playtime. Sunday, the elder of the pups was attacked by a German Shepard she was not playing with. We were told she had a small superficial laceration on her neck and it was irrigated and sterilized with ointment application by staff. They left it up to us if we wanted them to go to emergency vet or wait a day and go to our regular vet. Again, They informed us it was a small laceration and they tended to it. They made it sound as if it was a minor issue that could wait a day. They said she was playful, happy and herself at the time. On Monday, We were contacted by Sam & Dannis AND our vet that she needed surgical irrigation/debridement/sutures with drain placement for the deep neck laceration. Of course we said yes. We were told she tolerated surgery well. The owner of the aggressive dog had picked up his pup the day of the attack. Tuesday Sam and Danni's informed us when they let her outside she was off the leash and pulled her drain out. They did not follow the Vets instructions to keep her on a leash. Vet called and informed us also of the monitoring she would need post surgery to properly recover. We felt she was not getting it now and were concerned for her safety. We packed up to return home when a family friend went to Sam & Dannis and checked both of our dogs out of there.Positives: Sam and Dannis did make accommodations for a surgical dog by upgrading to larger a kennel. They took her for Vet check for injury. We were called several times by staff with updates.Negatives: 1) They extremely downplayed the severity of the attack. After watching the video it brought us to tears. 2) They did not follow the Vets instructions which put her at higher risk for infection after surgery. 3) The contract with Sam & Dannis specifically states they are not responsible for any attack such as this. They held true to their word. We were charged for pill administration for antibiotics, etc....They did not take the role of liason between us and the other owner for an attack that happened on their property. We were told in order to cover surgical costs, it would be our responsibility to pay or contact the aggressor owner to pay. We sought legal counsel. In the end the aggressor dog owner paid the bill 100% without any legal issues.Our pups are both doing very good, their happy and safe. Picture attached is the day our pup was picked up.

My cat stayed here over Christmas. Drop off staff was friendly and nice but when I went to pick up my cat I was extremely disappointed. My cats bed was removed out of his cage, he was semi wrapped in his blanket that was soaking wet in spots, and my cats belly was wet and crusty.

My fur babies, Max & Maggie, love to go to Sam & Danni's!!! The entire staff take such great care of Max... Maggie only goes to the park... either going for a play day, or just visiting the park... you ask them if they wants to go to Sam & Danni's... and they start bouncing off the walls, heads is out the window all the way there...

Been bringing my Rottweiler here for a year now. They always take good care of him. He loves to socialize with other dogs so I bring him here periodically just for his enjoyment. They do specialized feeding regimens if you need it as well as grooming when it’s hard for me to do so in the winter months. Highly recommend! Everyone is pleasant and positive genuinely care about what they are doing

My mom brings her dog here and has loved the service. So I tried bringing Gemma for doggie daycare on these cold winter days so she can burn off some energy during playtime. It helps socialize her as well! I've had no issues and have loved the service.

Can't say enough great things about this place. So many options for your fur baby or babies and staff are amazing. Couldn't ask for a better place to care for our kiddo, Loki, who is a two year old husky. Truly a remarkable place for daycare, spa days and more. Thank you to everyone there! We take our turbo there all the time and he is always happy and loves it. We did have a rough start with them as turbo was super timid of other dogs but he has become fast friends with most of the other dogs now. He also always has to have a pizzle when he leaves too.

I looked at several boarding facilities for my dog. It's much like finding child daycare! I chose S&D's because they have what I was looking for & staff were enthusiastic. The facility is clean, has outdoor runs & outdoor playtime & staff are competent & caring. They have daycare which I used as a way to familiarize my dog with the facility. I think my dog doesn't mind staying here, at least I hope not!

I’m really disappointed with my experience and I wish I would have done more research before boarding my dogs here. If you’re reading this, please filter the reviews from lowest and read the multiple reviews stating that their beloved pets died after staying here.Thankfully my experience was far less traumatic. When I dropped my dogs off, I wasn’t informed you had to pay EXTRA for your dog to go out for “playtime”. It felt like they nickel and dime for everything including playtime, medication administration, walks, and even a good night treat... I wouldn’t have brought my dogs here if I hadn’t been mislead to believe that being let out more than a few times a day would cost me extra.The check in process was frustrating. Even though I had my vet send the vaccination records in advance, the staff only looked at them when I arrived. There was a discrepancy on the paperwork and one of the vaccines wasn’t listed even though it was up to date. It makes me nervous they are not checking the vaccine info before your pet arrives. Once all was clear, someone came to take my dogs and I was so confused because of how unorganized and abrupt the process was.I called the day after dropping them off to find out how they were doing. The same employee who checked me in answered and she was short and uninformative. That’s when I found out my dogs weren’t going out with other dogs because they thought my dogs had never been boarded before. I never once said that. I was told playtime would cost extra so I declined. At this point I’m feeling regretful I chose this place.My dogs came home stressed and anxious. One of my dog’s nose was raw from her rubbing it in the cage, something she only does when extremely stressed. Her blanket was bloody and looked like a crime scene.I’m writing this because after seeing how other local dog boarders run their businesses, it’s clear this place isn’t providing quality care. Please look elsewhere if you’re considering boarding here.

Sam and Danni's pet resort was a great experience for me. My dog had a lot of anxiety when I dropped her off and they brought her to a more calm area with geriatric dogs to make the transition more comfortable. I took advantage of extra services for my dog. They gave me an update when I picked up my dog, and I did observe they record the amount of food and mood on a daily basis to keep staff informed. Grounds were clean, staff was amazing. Will use them in the future if I have to be away and cannot take my dog with. Thank you Sam and Danni's, don't know what we would have done without you!

At Sam & Danni's they really care about your pets! My dog stayed there over the weekend while we took a trip. While we were gone, our dog had some allergies and they let us know as soon as it happened and accommodated to his needs! Our dog came home happy and healthy! :)

I boarded my dog here for over a week. When scheduling, I was misinformed that you would have to pay extra for your dog to get any extra playtime or even outside time. Unless you pay the extra $10 a day, your dog will not leave its crate at all. Not once. And if you do pay, they only get a half hour, which in my opinion is just ridiculous. You’d think a dog boarding play would feel playtime is more important that money, especially one that is already priced high compared to others. My dog also came home with kennel cough, which I know is common, but just frustrating. I only went here because my normal place was booked for the time I needed. Please consider Dogs Inn Boarding in Rice before this place! You won’t be disappointed!
