The staff here is absolutely wonderful. We stopped by randomly because our dog had a hot spot we were concerned about and everyone here was so helpful. We normally don’t come here for vet visits but we will now! 😄 I highly recommend this vet clinic. We will never go anywhere else! Thanks for being so kind and loving to our pets. 🐾

We recently found out it was time to say goodbye to our beloved family member kitty, Twinkle, who was with us for over 13 years. To say that the staff of Pine Cone Pet Hospital was compassionate towards our grief, gentle with our cat in his last moments, and understanding of this huge loss would be an understatement.From the moment Dr. Brown met with Twinkle, it was clear that he was being honest in his assessment and giving us the best advice to help our cat. He explained everything clearly and kindly. We have felt taken advantage elsewhere, but it is evident that they are making decisions here to help the four-legged family members receive exactly the care that they need, nothing more, nothing less.Today we received a card in the mail that the staff had all signed. Their words showed that they sincerely understood our loss. And there was a surprise inside...here's the backstory first. When Twinkle was not feeling well, I wanted to get paw prints to have as a memory. We managed to get some at home, but they were pretty blurry. Imagine, then, how surprised I was when 4 small sheets of paper, each imprinted with a paw print, fell out as I opened the card. What a deeply personal touch that meant more to us than they could know.We cannot recommend Pine Cone Pet Hospital enough for anyone who wants to provide their pet with the most thoughtful care. We will always be grateful for how they supported us during such a difficult time.

I don’t even know where to start with this clinic. The story is too long to tell here, but the end result is that Dr. Brown went above and beyond for my Mother-in-Law’s little Morkie, Molly. Actually, what category is above “above and beyond”?I think everyone at the clinic got their hands on Molly in one way or another (Kandi and Shelby were standouts). Thank you all for everything you did to save and care for Molly. Dr. Brown, to you and yours, “thank you” isn’t enough, but THANK YOU.So to review this clinic, we were in a rough spot - they listened, accommodated, never made us feel like we were a pain (we were, at least kinda), did their very best (and then some), and took really good care of Molly.As a surgeon, I can’t recommend Dr. Brown enough. Molly’s surgery was rare, his post-surgery efforts were incredible. Great vet. Great clinic.

We absolutely love the staff and the vets at Pinecone Hospital. They are friendly, caring, and treat the animals like they are their own. We had to put our family member to sleep today after 14.5 years. The hospital was quick to get us in and were so kind. We have been and will continue to be loyal customers of Pinecone pet hospital.

Our furry kids have been seeing Dr Brown and the team for over 16 years and we would not go anywhere else. the staff is amazing! They have been there for us in the good and the bad. And when it was the bad everyone's compassion including the Dr's helped us feel surrounded by professional and caring humans. Thank you for being so AWESOME!

If I could give 10 stars I would! A very thankful cat mom is extremely grateful to Dr. Walker, his staff and the receptionist, (Candy, you’re a gem! Thanks for calming me over the phone & getting my little girl, Smokey in so quickly).My cat had been having problems breathing & the Vet I took her to previously was the cold and incompetent, (Waite Park Vet is truly horrendous).Everyone at Pine Cone Vet was extremely compassionate and up front about everything. Treated Smokey so well and actually did something to treat her. When her and I got home, I gave her the 1st dose of meds at noon and it’s been 7 hours now and still no asthma attack . She had been getting bad attacks hourly or more.Her and I haven’t had even a solid hour of sleep in days. We both laid down and slept for 4, blissfully uninterrupted sleep.You all have mine and Smokey’s eternal gratitude!

I’m always impressed with our visits to Pine Cone. They take such great care of our dog and interact with her when she comes in. The medical care has been fantastic and they always communicate very well. Highly recommend them!

They are always so friendly! From the vets to the technicians, and especially the first face you see at the desk, I’m always treated with a smile, compassion, and professionalism. They are extremely prompt with finding an opening - often on very short notice. They treat my dog like their own. I moved further away, but I won’t give them up! I highly recommend!

Outstanding compassionate caregivers who go above and beyond. I am so impressed when I call with questions and when I visit with my dog how friendly everyone is, they truly enjoy caring for pets and their owners. Dr. Brown and Dr. Vogel explain the problem and treatment options very well and make time to answer my questions. My dogs have had great outcomes after surgeries. I received caring counsel for end of life care for my dog also. I am grateful for all of their service over the years.

I am so beyond lucky to have found this place to care for my furbabies- and myself. Because we all know our pets are just as much our family, (sometimes even more than family). When I went through the most traumatic loss of my best friend, the entire staff took it upon themselves to make sure I was okay. Not just the day of, but for days after. Being a nurse - I understand that taking care of a patient doesn’t just mean the one assigned to you, it’s the family members as well. And at Pinecone Pet Hospital, they embody that. One of those rare find vets. Dr. Brown was the vet that figured out what was wrong with my Oscar boy (cat) after going to two other vets. Dr. Brown is just so caring for all animals and really great at what he does. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

The doctor is simply the best I’ve ever had for my hunting dog. His expertise matched with his caring and compassion are second to none. My lab had to have ACL surgery. I couldn’t have asked for better results. The before during and after care and information for recovery is amazing. The staff are all incredible. I could not imagine abetter experience anywhere. I will go back to Pine Cone from now on. Simply the best around.

We took our dog here for the first time this past week with pancreatitis, and I was blown away with how caring and kind the staff is here. She stayed overnight, and when I called to check in on her they took the time to chat with me and were great about updating me on how she was doing throughout her stay. My pup is feeling much better now, she was definitely in great hands! Thank you for taking such great care of my Josie! :)

I wish I could give 10 stars. These people are incredible. We have had trouble finding a good vet for years. The last vet we saw approached my dog very poorly and we have had issues since. My dog suddenly got very sick. We called several vet offices and no one had openings. Due to his symptoms, Pine Cone Pet Hospital fit us in despite their full schedule. They treated all of us with respect and my dog did so well with them! That's the first time he has felt comfortable at a vet in 2 years. Dr. Mark Johnson is incredible and he even called us a couple times after we left to check in. I will forever recommend this place and we'll be bringing both our dogs there from now on.

I'm new to town and needed a new vet. My first visit was amazing! Everyone on the staff was friendly, engaging and treated my baby like he hung the moon, even though I know he doesn't, I still like it when people treat him the way I see him. They were all so great with my anxious, aggressive chihuahua that I felt safe in my decision to bring his siblings in the next day. I messaged my friends about his vet, Heather, immediately, saying that I was impressed and felt really great about her.

This hospital was our pets dogs vet for 8 years. We recently moved our pets to a different vet because of scheduling issues that have gone on for well over a year...close to 2 years. Anytime I wanted to schedule it was 2 months out. From what I understand this was a COVID issue and staffing issue. But when I recently called to try and schedule....it was the same thing, 2 months out. I also found out that they were still talking new patients. the question I have, if you're still having issues with a reasonable schedule for your customers and patients? Why are you still taking new ones. I would like to have kept our pets in this facility, but not when you put new customers ahead of current. As a business owner myself, I would like to get all the business I can, but If I can't keep the current customers happy? because I keep delaying or putting them off, because I keep taking new customers. What's the point? Pinecone is a good vet hospital, but I think they are taking on too much work and should put more care and thought into the current patients and customers. I give them 3 ⭐ because of the care they gave my pets. But today I cut ties with them and moved them to a different facility.

These are the people you want taking care of your pets! They treat my dog, Patty, like family. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. We don't have to take Patty in very often, but when we do they know who she is! I love it!

We've been here for nearly 3 years. Recently went in because one of our pups had pancreatitis. Front desk staff is always courteous and helpful. Doctors Vogl and Brown are excellent. They always treat our pups as family which is very important to us. Very happy to have found a place that we can trust to care for our pups.

We switched to this vet clinic a couple of years ago, and yesterday made that change so worthwhile. We had to have our thirteen-year-old catahoula put to sleep, which was a devastating thing. But Pine Cone Pet Hospital was incredible to work with: from the receptionists who were kind and compassionate and gave hugs when I was working so hard to hold it together, to the vet tech who was gentle and calm, to the vet himself who worked with us to make this process manageable and gave us all the information we needed—as awful as yesterday was, they made it bearable. Their varied kindnesses will never be forgotten. While this was one of our bigger moments with them, in the yearly check-ups, medication refills, and general vet needings, they have all been professional, kind, and intelligent. They love our pets, and that makes me very comfortable in trusting them with their care.

Have had to bring my dog to other vets before and never had a bad experience so my bar is set pretty high... but Pine Cone Pet Hospital is by far my favorite. Doctor Brown is amazing, very knowledgeable and patient - I’m sure at times he’s felt like he’s treating me more than my dog :) Special shout-out to Kandy who is always able to bring a smile to your face even during stressful visits. I ended up needing an urgent appointment due to my sick cat Tobbie. Everyone at Pine Cone was amazing. Tobbie didn't make it but I know they put 150% into trying to make her better. The best experience under some bad conditions. The poor kitty that found me had numerous problems including open wounds. My regular vet couldn't get her in for a week and I have 2 other kitties at home so I was concerned about worms, mites, etc. Pine Cone was able to get me in on a cancellation. Partly luck, but mostly their desire to help. The staff from my 1st phone call through the entire visit were amazing. Stella the Stubby is on the mend and will be able to be introduced to the rest of her family sooner then later. 😻

We love PineCone Pet Hospital ! We have been bringing our kitties to them for 5 years now and couldn’t be happier! All the staff are always so friendly and informative ~ they always take their time to answer all the questions we have. PCPH may be a little higher priced than other places in the area but it is more than compensated for with the incredible customer service and care they have for us and our fur babes! We could go on and on about how much we love and appreciate PCPH! Huge thanks to Dr Brown for ALWAYS answering our endless questions with a smile and Candy for always greeting us with laughter and happiness! We love you all !!

Pine Cone Pet Hospital is setting the standard for great veterinary care at an affordable price. Both times I've had to take my pets in at moments notice due to severely concerning symptoms. Not only did they fit me in within a few hours but they also asked many questions to ensure my dog did not need quicker attention. They truly care about your pet walking in. We had a medical emergency with our 7 month old kitten. I called our dog's long term vet and nobody answered the phone during normal business hours, whereas, I cold called Pine Cone Pet Hospital and was immediately transferred to Dr. Brown. He was able to fit her into his schedule as soon as we could arrive and our kitten was seen within minutes of her injury. The treatment was administered quickly, successfully and was very affordable. Every employee we encountered during this process was more than kind, compassionate and capable in the care we and our kitten received. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for the time, compassion and advice I received. The level of care and service is above and beyond what you will find elsewhere. This was not even my vet. I had never been here before but was desperately looking for advice. My own vet (from a different clinic) could not speak to me directly. I will forever be indebted to the very lovely and kind Dr. Heather Vogl. She paused her busy day to share her knowledge and advice with a frantic, terrified pet owner with no expectation of business from me. She comforted and educated me and for that she has gained my trust and loyalty. We have now switched and couldn’t be happier with our decision.
