Absolutely pleased with boarding my baby Dane here for two nights! He came home exhausted and snuggly from a few days away from the family as we went on a small vacation.Seeing them post photos and updates was a nice ease of mind without constant texts and updates. They said he did so well and had a great time playing. Next vacation I’ll be boarding all three of my pups here and for any future needs.Thank you for taking care of my sweet boy.

I absolutely love this place. I board my dog here every time we leave state. They have a Facebook page where they will post pictures of your dogs to which is really nice. The prices are affordable and it is also a family owned business which just makes it that much more lovable. They are very accommodating and helpful to animals. My dog takes anxiety meds and they were willing to give him his meds while we were on our trip as well. I actually have our next trip already booked for the end of this year. I highly recommend taking your pets here 10 out of 10 experience with them. My absolute only complaint would be that you can only reach them by phone four specific hours of the day. With that being said, though if you leave a voicemail, they always call you back! I added some of the photos they added to Facebook.Update: 7 months later and they are still amazing !! Thanks for 15k photo views of my baby ❤️. I promise they will take great care of your baby as well!

Tracy at Happy Hounds is amazing!! She goes above and beyond!! Happy Hounds staff treat all animals like their own. I have my dog Lily stay there anytime I go away. Great accommodations, grooming offered, and kind staff.

The results of my dog Otis after being attacked by a Pitbull while in the uncompassionate and unprofessional care by the young untrained staff at Happy Hound. I did not know of the incident until I went to pick him up and found him bleeding from the front foot due to the injuries sustained while entrusted in the "care" of Happy Hound. With the only first aid they could come up with was an old dirty sock, I had to take him in for emergency medical/surgical Care at Blue Pearl in Blaine, some 60 mi away. At no time did the staff of Happy Hound contact me regarding his status, until I made my previous Google post. And at no time has Happy Hound even hinted about taking any responsibility for their negligence..

Do NOT bring your dog here!!! This morning 9-22-23 we picked up our dogs only to here the employee screaming at them over and over again to "come on". I didn't see this, but when one of them is scared she will NOT go anywhere! She come out ten minutes later red faced and visibly very angry, then when we have the nerve to ask where their beds are we get, I think they chewed them up or "ate" them I don't know I'm not always here, neither dog has ever touched their bed's except to lay on them, do not bring your dogs to this dog torture chamber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give it negative stars I would!!!!!!

I have used their services a couple of times so far, and let me tell you that coming from an animal lover, they made the first time much more bearable on being away for a while. They do their best to keep you informed and treat your furry family member as one of their own. The rates are reasonable as well. Give them a chance!

Whoever answers your phones needs to work on her customer service. She showed no interest in taking on a new client and had no idea what I mean by “bully breed”. She rubbed me the wrong way , would not recommend based on how she reacted to “pit bull” once I clarified that’s what a billy breed is.

My dogs came home quite contented. Usually when they've been at a kennel they come home frantic like they thought I would never come back. I tend to believe this means they were treated well and were happy while I was gone.. prices were quite reasonable staff was very friendly I have no complaints we will be back ☺️

Our dog Odin has been boarding here regularly (when our family goes on vacation) for over three years and these folks are top notch. They have pictures posted our your pets visit which is nice to see what they are up to while you are away. Our dog has so much fun here and even cries with happiness as we enter the property which makes leaving him so much easier because we know he loves it. We drive over an hour to the facility (we live in the twin cities) because the service, friendly staff, and care he gets here is unapparelled. They are the absolute best!

We used The Happy Hound over the 4th of July for our two dogs and they did a nice job. It was our first time. Our dogs are high maintenance, highly allergic to many foods and one is a poop eater, so they carried our two dogs outside instead of leading them to be sure they wouldn't eat any spilled food on the ground and then made sure the pen they were using for their exercise was clear of all dog poop before putting them in there. I thought this was nice that they went the extra mile for them like that. The staff is real gentle and very caring. I also thought the kennel was very clean and the prices reasonable. I would use them again.

This place is always accommodating and the staff is very friendly. We bring our two wirehairs there at least 5 times per year and all is good!! I would recommend... if you need your pets, working dogs and loving companions to spend time away from your family they will be there to take good care of them

I decided to go with them as they are local, & my nephew is in school with the owners child (according to my 7 yr old nephew, ha!) . Upon drop off, we were skeptical, as the young girl helping us was not very informative or interested in things we were informing her of in regards to our three dogs. However, upon pickup, an adorable little girl and the worker were amazing. My dogs didn't even care that i was there and it was like they didn't even miss us! We are already on their schedule for future visits, and will continue to use them. All in all, we were satisfied. I get anxious when kenneling my dogs as they are all needy, and very attached to us - so it's nice that they also post photos on their facebook page as well.

First time we had our cat and dog kenneled here it was great. We had regular updates and the animals were fine when we picked them up. The second time we had no updates and when we picked them up our cat had a chin sore, stress acne, and both pets were over fed, we left more than enough food and were formed at pick up that they ran out of food for both pets.

We think our dog was well taken care of but with no communication from the person at the front desk it's hard to know. It would be nice to hear "he did great" or even "he had a difficult time" since he's an old dog and he can't tell us what happened.The owner needs to train his staff to communicate better.

Place was clean and staff was fine- my dog just needs a place where he can run and be active playing with the other dogs rather than be in a kennel.. Good place if your dog needs to be in a safe space, though... my doggo needs more play time

Had 2 dogs their for ten days.What they say on Facebook not true.Seen the dogs on Facebook once in ten days.I called to see how they where doing.I was told they would be a picture of them on Facebook that day.Nothing ever was posted.Will not bring my dogs back there ever again.
