We are from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have wonderful friends from Iowa. They invited us to visit with them at this amazing hidden gem, vineyard, winery. We had an amazing visit in a beautiful, hospitable atmosphere. The food was delicious and the wine… oh, the wine was outstanding! Kudos to Round Lake Vineyards.A return venue for my bucket list.

vinery(winery) done right! this is my TOP 3 in USA!!! go enjoy thyself and never look back. niagra, canadia, california are all good, but this is out of this world. calm, clean, pristine, lake to explore, yard to walk, marriage to have. very settled and quiet place. i wish they had airbnb here. id pay premium just to stay here for a week and unplug...thanks Scott👍 good vibes, never stop advancing

We stumbled upon this place during a roadtrip and are so glad we did. It was a hidden gem! A beautiful and breezy location to relax and taste some wine and have a nice light refreshing lunch. Only one girl was working pouring the tastings for several tables so it was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry. Come here to sit backand relax. 🍷 🍇

I actually saw the sign on I-90 for this place and I thought to myself, "Ooh, that sounds lovely." The universe must have wanted me and my family to soak this place in because our RV got a flat and we ended up having to pull over. Thank God!My 2 young kids (10 and 2) had a blast. The atmosphere is out of this world; it's beautiful and serene. There is a lake and the vineyards and lots of water ponds and fountains. I would think this is a beautiful place for a wedding. Plenty of open space, another building across the large parking lot, and of course, the restaurant. The food was amazing, it was fresh and the best meal I've had traveling through Minnesota. The beet ketchup was lovely and my kids really enjoyed the pizza. Our server Jessica was very sweet and explained the wine menu perfectly to us novice wine drinkers.The managers let us hang out here for almost 4 hours as we waited for our tow truck. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.If you're going to be stranded somewhere, why not a winery? Better yet though, if you want to come to a winery that puts California to shame, come here.

Great patio and scenery. The lake just a short walk away was beautiful. Service was great despite it being a busy night. Dog was welcome on the patio, as were kids. Great wine; the pretzel and cheese curd appetizers were very good.

Excellent wine, food, and atmosphere. We enjoyed the sweet potato fries, chicken-bacon-ranch pizza, and did a wine tasting. The staff were friendly and helpful. A treasure for the community and surrounding area!

July 2, 2022. My wife and I showed up at 7:30. We ordered wine and dinner immediately around 7:45 since we knew food was closing at 8. We both ordered bison burgers and a bottle of wine. The wine was delivered promptly but our original usual wine request was out (gander). After that things fell apart. We were notified the kitchen was slow after 15 minutes. After that things really fell apart. Our server brought us water once but did not offer any additional service. Dinner was not delivered until 9:15 almost an hour and a half after we ordered. Dinner was excellent. Additional service including water was not served. To add insult to the wait, after we finished dinner we waited an additional 10 minutes and were not given our check until 9:40. Not the service I would expect for a fine establishment like this. We have been here over two dozen times and this was by far the worst experience.

Went there with the girlfriend who grew up with and is good friends with alot of the family, got to meet the owners and get a full tour of the grounds and establishment, full story behind building the place and the lumber used, absolutely beautiful establishment and very friendly down to earth people! Outstanding wine, liquor and beer selection! Had the Bison T-bone and it was to die for!

The waitress was nice, quick, and awesome. Ordered starters, wine tasting, and wine bottles. Was able to do a quick tour of wine production with the owners. Great place will be back for a 3rd time

Beautiful place and an inviting atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the service was very good, as was the food. The wine alone is worth a visit.

The food oh my I'm not one for many words but that was hands down two thumbs up the Best Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich I've ever tasted in this tri state area I so recommend you go give this place a try I will be back up love it!!!

Round Lake is a great place to grab some food and a good drink. We ate outside and it was very open for the kids to run a bit while we were waiting for food. The atmosphere is perfect to wind down and relax. I had the Fried Walleye with Sweet Potato Fries. It was very good. The Wonton Shrimp was better. We ended up ordering 3 Wonton Shrimp. I would recommend stopping by!

Beautiful property!. Pesky flies might be reduced if patio was powerwashed often. Persistent Natural gas leak upset my stomach. Poor waitress managed 14 customers solo. Glasses had the imprinting worn off. Not our best wine tasting experience.

Our experience was not good overall. We got to the place on time but had to wait standing in the midst of many people who were also waiting to sit down. Our server came out and we ordered. Our water glasses were plastic and clear because they could not keep up with the dishes. We did not receive our coffee . Seems that we were overlooked . We had to ask someone else to bring it out. Granted, we were later in the buffet time at 1:00, but our food was for the most part dry and tasteless. The area was loud and not at all like the kind of Mother's Day experience I wanted. I do not plan to go there again. We did not go into the winery itself, so the atmosphere in there might have been much better. We were in a different building for the Mother's Day buffet.

We had a lovely dinner here tonight with friends. Our server Kim was excellent! The food was delicious. Steaks were tender! We drank red wine & beer from Laverne. Over all a very relaxing evening. We will return! Thank you!

Just wanted to say that the bison tenderloin was one of the best steaks. I've eaten. enjoyed the entertainment tonight as well thank you for a beautiful evening. The wine was very good as well. Do not come to this location for the buffets they are terrible regular dining after 4 p.m. is great.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Wines and food were delicious! They are currently remodeling their kitchen but we're still able to accommodate delicious food out of their food truck! Patio is extremely relaxing with ponds and fish and sunsets galore! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and did I mention friendly?! I have nothing but good things to say about round lake. Perfect spot for a wedding venue too...hint hint! Love love love. We will absolutely be back to visit our new friends!

My Husband and I recently got married and our reception was at Round Lake Winery. Scott and his team were amazing to make sure our wedding day was perfect. The venue location is absolutely stunning, the wine is amazing, and the food was great! I would recommend Round Lake Winery to anyone who needs a venue location or a fun winery experience!

Went in person. Amazing experience. Came in from out of state. Joined their wine club. I’ve called now over 7 different times. Still haven’t received my mine. I get emails. It always says the wine is for pick up. I call they say they change it. Wait a week. Call again. They say they will change it. Wait a week someone tells me I can only talk to the one person who handles the wine club. Was supposed to have wine shipped out first week of august. No wine. And my account is still not fixed. No matter how many times I call. Love being charged for product I don’t receive. And what I really love. Is when people lie and say they will take care of it. And when you call again a week later. That person says they will fix it. And yet …. Here we are. Most excellent

Had an excellent experience. The property is breathtaking. We did 8 wine tastings, had a wonderful lunch, and purchased a case of wine. Definitely recommend this place.
