I always enjoy my visits to Chuck & Don's as the staff there is always friendly and welcoming. Val, Dane and the rest of the team have been tremendous and make myself (as well as the others that come in) feel more than just customers. Its a great community. Also the products sold there is a wide variety of good food options, treats and treatments.As long as the store in Rosemount is open, I'll be going there multiple times a week for my cats and dog.

The employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. My canine is allergic to chicken and can only have one protein in dry dog kibble. Among other specific requirements in a dog food.I can always rely on their assistance to find a good quality dry kibble grain inclusive that meets my canines needs.We love Chuck and Don's!!

Do you have a pet that you just love to death? Yep, we all do, fess up. Our furry friends are part of our families, after all.Well, if your family member needs a special diet, or deserves a special treat, or requires a new leash or even that special "MN Vikings" jersey (!), then Chuck and Don's Pet foods is for YOU (and your loving pet).I mean, I'm not lying here - it's the cleanest, brightest, most organized, and amazing pet store around. And, of course, you do pay for this! You aren't going to find Alpo dog food here. You will find a myriad of specialized pet food, selected for their high quality nutrition and uniqueness. And again, yes.... You pay a higher price for these kinds of things. But that dog of yours is worth it, yes??!!I went in to the Rosemount C and D's for a gift certificate for my sister's birthday. I wandered through the specialty foods, refrigerated section (of pet foods and treats!), outfits for your pet, play toys, leashes, and specialty snacks for your pet fit to be served to your... children? I guess?? No, I wouldn't do that, but they look delicious just the same! (see my photos!).The store was impeccably clean, well organized, and literally every can and bag were perfectly placed onto the shelves, with their labels all oriented outward and aligned. I mean, really, this is not Walmart here! (again, see my photos).Conveniently located in the old (very long-gone) Video Update Rosemount location, the Rosemount C and D's shares the lot with Rosemount Cub Foods. Parking is ample and convenient. Masks are encouraged. Store hours have been reduced due to COVID.Overall, 5 stars - well deserved. Yep, you pay a premium cost for everything in this store, but hey, isn't that family member worth it occasionally???!!! Yeah, I know.

I love Chuck & Don’s! They have the best dog food, my dog Charlie loves Stella & Chewy’s Frozen Raw Dinner Morsels! They offer a free package for every 10 packages purchased for this item, which is totally awesome. Friendly fast service!

I love Chuck and Dons Rosemount! The team there is always so helpful, and full of knowledge about all the different products that you carry. I appreciate the quality of product that you carry. I never worry about what my dog is eating because I know that the majority of brands on your shelves are top notch.

I buy all my pet food here. Which makes sense since that is all they sell there. I guess if I said I purchased a nice Amish made dining table here and couldn’t be happier then this review would be misleading and pointless. Which leads me to ask why is the Amish stuff so dang good? Like, do they have wood sculpting superpowers? Is wood sculpting the right phrase. I feel like i should have said wood making or creating. Honestly I’m not sure what’s right. Where was I, oh yeah, Chuck and Dons, yeah they sell food for pets. No people food unless you eat dog food, then I guess that’s sorta correct to say they also sell human food. Sometimes there’s cats for adoption and I hangout with them and try to figure out a way to get another pet in my house and make it seem like a good idea so my wife doesn’t get mad. Where was I, oh yeah, I need to refill my Adderall, I should call the pharmacy. So uh, Chuck and dons. Nice place for furry friend food, oh and they sell crickets and worms if you have a lizard. 5/5.

This is one of our dogs' favorite places - we have to speak of it in code or they go nuts. I love all the events they put on for customers and even when there aren't any, you might be surprised with samples of some kind. They are always friendly and helpful.

The cashier was very knowledgeable about pet products and was very helpful concerning the most affordable yet healthy options for my dog. I was looking at their on-sale coats for dogs and she said even though it's clearance I can bring it back for another size if it doesn't fit. I wouldn't shop anywhere else!

I absolutely LOVE the staff at this location. Every time I come in with a pet, they are so helpful and give my dog attention like it's the best dog in the world. The staff helped me pick out the perfect walking harness, kitty bed and doggy treats. We even got to do a doggy treat easter egg hunt the last time we visited! I try very hard to buy everything from here and not amazon. They know exactly what they are doing when it comes to pet care. Thank you Chuck & Don's Rosemount, we love you!

I had my puppy Truckee groomed for the first time at the new AppleValley location Grand opening. I was so so pleased.Daria, did a beautiful job. Truckee was treated like a king and Daria exceeded my expectations. She is such a sweet, talented, professional girl. I will be back.. I can not say enough about this store. It is beautiful and large, the grooming salon is also the best I have seen. the washing area is beautiful yet functional. the main grooming area has out door windows, All the girls in this grooming salon were top notch and lovely.The rest of the store and the employees are the best. so helpful and charming. I think you will like it there. Give it a try.

Literally the best place to shop for your fur baby. They are very knowledgeable and help in anyway they can with questions you have about the products they carry. The prices range for low to high depending on how much you want to spend. I feel like they have affordable things for all your pet needs.

We love Chuck and Dons – they offer quality food that other ‘big box’ stores do not carry. I have had animals with food allergies and there were options to accommodate my pet without needing to pay for prescription dog foods. Their selection of food, toys, treats, and accessories cannot be beat! They have a great return policy if your animal does not like their food – and with the returned food they don’t just toss it out, they donate it to local shelters which I think is great! Also their reward program is well worth it – the rebate and free bag ‘punch card’ are awesome ways to keep customers!

Chuck & Don’s has the good food that is not available at other chains, grocery & department stores. This location is my favorite now and I love the knowledgeable staff here. Krissy is amazing and always brightens my day. If you have a pet with anxiety or pain, ask about the CBD products, I learned a lot from Krissy and I am really happy with the choices I made after being properly advised.

Everything is decently priced with a good variety of everything from toys, food, treats, and more. If you cant find it here the employees do their best to find out where you can. They put the animals first and treat them all the way they deserve to be treated.

Always such a friendly and helpful crew! They went above and beyond the other day when I needed dog food but had a sleeping baby in the car. They let me pay over the phone and delivered my bag of food right to my trunk, letting my baby keep sleeping! You seriously made my day!! Thank you so much!

Good quality foods available, prices a little high on some items that are cheaper other places. Super helpful staff and knowledgeable. Prefer brick and mortar type of business over big box stores like Petsmart and PetCo. It's great they have adoptable cats to help out rescues!

I spoke with Kaswell at the Apple Valley store. We adopted an 8 year old Rat Terrier with lung cancer and congestive heart failure. The rescue said he might only have weeks to live, but we wanted him to have a home that suited his needs, along with lots of love and attention devoted just to him. He's now 9 years old and we needed advice on adding even more nutrition into his diet. Kaswell was extremely knowledgeable and made suggestions on how we could add supplementation into his current already good diet. I would HIGHLY recommend getting in touch with Kaswell on any pet questions or concerns you might have.

We love coming to this location since they carry our cats favorite flavor of Fromm 😀 The staff are amazing. We always bring our corgi with to grab a couple treats while shopping as well.
