It was late in the day and the bright sun was sinking deeper towards the skyline when I had a bit of an unexpected mishap with my motorcar. I turned off the highway to the first place I saw open. There was a chipper young lad out front doing some end of the day cleanup who promptly asked me if I needed any help before I even hit the front door. I exasperatedly tried to convey my dilemma and he responded that maybe his more seasoned coworkers could be of some help. As promised right inside the door were two wise-looking folks ready and willing to assist me in my quest. Without skipping a beat they sent me to aisle 21 where I was promptly met by the man who would later become my knight in shining armor. I should have known by the faint glow that illuminated around his salt and pepper hair as he floated down from the heavens, descending among the bungee cords and ratchet straps from above. He had me lead him to my chariot where he assessed my dire straits. Suddenly, as almost with a flick of an invisible wand, before I could even utter the words “locally strong” he had repaired my carriage and i was off riding into the sunset, briefly glancing in my rear view only to see him fading off into the distance. I will never forget you Jeff and the lovely family at Rogers True Value. You are truly extraordinary. Truly marvelous. Truly magical.

Hardware store service like it should be. Mike Huffman and his team are very responsive to their customer. Had a minor warranty claim on a Big Green Egg accessory and Mike handled it quickly, efficiently and professionally. Every time I have been in this store I was warmly greeted by the staff, asked if I needed any help and thanked for stopping in when I exited. A very good experience.

The staff at this hardware store is always extremely kind and helpful. I came in earlier this week looking for a small part for a light which they did not stock, but Gary, the gentleman on the staff who was helping me, offered to bring one in for me that he had at home. I don' t think I can ever recall someone working at a store being so kind and generous. I really appreciated this and highly recommend shopping at this hardware store.

Hard to believe the service I received at the Rogers True Value! My home smoke alarms had been intermittently tweeting throughout the night. One was so high I couldn't reach it with my ladder. No luck trying to get some help.... fire dept. couldn't help me..... went to True Value. Gary Wilson was on duty and gave me phone number of a "Handyman" service - called him but he couldn't come for four days. Called Gary back and Gary came over to my house with a very tall ladder and replaced the battery. Tweeting stopped. I am "care-helping" an elderly friend who is receiving chemo treatments and am a Senior myself. I will be forever grateful for this caring service for which Gary would accept no payment. This type of kindness doesn't happen very often. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

True Value Hardware is a great place to shop. While it is true you might spend a few more cents than your big box store, you can't match their level of customer service. For me, this is my first go to place for anything I need because they almost always have what I need in stock and can come up with solutions for challenges I have encountered.

great service, knowledgeable staff with a meticulously clean and well organized store. Yes, it is more expensive than the big box stores like some other reviews mention. It's saves me a trip to maple grove every time I need something. they have survived the rogers economy whereas Lowes did not.

The best part about any home town hardware store is the ability to buy a single nut, bolt, or screw. This place is that kind of store. You also will find the staff friendly and very quick to offer help. Great place.

Extremely overpriced compared to Lowes or Home Depot. In some cases 20%-30% more expensive. In addition they wouldn't let me return a thermostat I bought because it wasn't broken. What sense does that make. I could return a broken one, but not one in perfect working order? I should have just said it was broken. And the manager was kind of rude. Home Depot would have taken it back...I understand that Home Depot could afford to absorb the cost of the the return better that a small True Value franchise...but it was pretty ridiculous to not accept a $12 return and loose probably $100's of dollars in my business. Even though they are over priced...they are located much closer to my house that any Home Depot or Lowes and I would have continued to shop there.
