Cabela's is great on its own, but we love coming here around Christmas! They have a wonderful Santa that comes in and even give you a free printed photo with him and the kids! They also hand out little extras like ornament decorating kits, Candy canes, and other crafts. They have activities too for entertaining the kids like a lincoln log station, duck bow shooting and rifle target shooting. We've taken our kids here the last couple years now and they just love it! ❤️🎅

This was my first time coming here, as well as my fiancé. If he could get married in the store, I think he would. We have been to many stores that offer, hunting, or fishing, or both. This store takes the cake for the best fishing selection I have ever seen. The options are endless and absolutely amazing. They have a huge animal exhibit in the middle of the store that has a water feature as well. They have a large camo section as well as a decent selection for a hunting. The camping area also had one of the largest selections I’ve seen. They even have an area where you can get your licenses for fishing/hunting. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for outdoor things.

Has everything you need... unless you need an employee to help you. Tried buying a trolling motor and waited over an hour for the employee to finish up with another customer. Employee knew I was waiting and I wanted to buy a trolling motor. Once it was my turn he turned and talked to his buddy for about 20 minutes and literally waved me off with his hand when his buddy asked if he should be helping me. You missed out on a $2000 sale. Definitely won't be going back for any big ticket items.

This Cabela’s is one of the best ones I have gone to. The staff is very kind and friendly, not trying to push me to buy a bunch of stuff that I don’t need: because they know I will do that all by myself. Even though I got engaged at a Bass Pro Shop (true story), I love how big of a selection they have here and how the shelves are always look neat and tidy (sorry. Former retail worker).

What's not to say? This is the place to go for all your outdoor recreational needs. Staff at the gun counter are super helpful and children love the aquarium inside as well as the taxidermy. Fun place but it can quickly drain your wallet if you don't have self control

I was in the store for 15 minutes for new work boots, I got asked to sign up for something 3 times by 3 different people, go here if you want to be hounded the first step you take inside. Haven’t experienced any other store do it this aggressively. Negative 5 stars if I could.

Everything is overpriced. For all the clothing I looked at, there were a maximum of 3 sizes available. It's a barren and dying business. Service is good, at least.

Plan to spend some time, and get to know the Stores layout. Has an African Scenery, from the Bush, with Elephant and many animals, that's Exquisite! Take many photos, here! I bought a Sun Tracker pontoon and am very upset about the support. Every time it rains the seat compartments fill with water and the Cabela's staff have no solutions or empathy. I even tried to order a cover from Sun Trackers but was told that should be done at the day of purchase. If you buy one of these pontoons expect mold and mildew problems. Buyer beware.

Workers in the gun area (Rogers store) do not know how to follow order which is scary. I am at the top of their list standing there and they help someone below me. I watch it with my own eyes twice in one day. I will be purchasing from someone else.

We just left the store today , just now after my fiancé was refused the ability to purchase a handgun and red dot ,by an ansshole of a employee all because he wanted to dictate which gun my fiancé should buy. Now for some context my fiancé is 49 years old and has been around guns and shooting them since he was 5 years old. So he knows exactly what he’s talking about and exactly what he wants. Oh and that same employee openly admitted to us that he denied others the ability to purchase firearms as well all supposedly for the same alleged error on state issued drivers license, I have a very strong suspicion it’s for the same reason we experienced . That guy has absolutely zero business being employed there if he’s going to power trip and violate peoples rights. Also we decided also we are done with cabelas as a whole as well. All thanks to him. Update: I emailed corporate already and got my information forwarded to the general manager who was just as rude and unhelpful as I expected, he basically stuck up for the employee and what he did. As I write this I’m waiting to hear back from a federal agency and also get written confirmation from Minnesota DMV about how his license was typed out. Oh and the manager even had the nerve to accuse my fiancé of filling out his license application wrong which he didn’t. Once I hear back from mentioned groups I’ll be speaking to a lawyer.

I am not impressed in their customer service. On 3-2-2024 i stopped in looking for a muzzleloader. Talked with a gun at the firearms counter about what i was looking for and filled out a special order form. The guy who does the special orders was not in at that time. It has been a week and a half and i have yet to receive a call about my inquiry. I would be nice to know if they can or cannot order the product I am looking for.On a side note they stock vary little accessories for muzzleloading. If I wanted to order and have shipped to the store, I would just order from a competitor and have it shipped to my door. I would most likely get better pricing as well.Overall not real impressed with the Rogers store any more since Bass Pro took over.

Good store. I loved when they allowed overnight semi truck parking. But because Somalian pirates ocupied parking lot and started their own bussiness on your parking lot. We , truck drivers lost that privelege to park and trust . Management i feel sorry for thing that was done by those people to your parking. Tires and trash. Oil and parts on the ground. That was disrecpectful behavior from their side. Not all truckers are like that, many of us your loyal members. And we respect that Cabelas allows us park in other locations! Thank you for your bussines!

Their customer service is absolutely terrible! They have no interest in working with or helping the consumer. If you're ever considering going to Cabela's ... due yourself a MASSIVE favor and drive to Scheels. They're far and away a better store, better selection and most importantly ... better people.

Visiting after being gone 10 years, just like i remember except the restaurant upstairs is closed. The aquarium is great, and the mounts are really cool to see. Huge fishing and gun sections.

This is a fantastic Cabelas! I came with my three young kids and was met by an employee ready with stickers to hand to the kids. A couple times I was asked if I needed help with anything which, didn’t feel overboard but just perfect. They have a fantastic display of animals and the aquarium is pretty cool for the kids as well! They have a great selection of pretty much anything you are looking for related to outdoors. Would highly recommend this place!

I had a pretty good time here. A lot of cool camping gear that I hadn't seen before. Ended up leaving with a few items. I did not like being solicited to right as I walk in the front door. I really don't enjoy having to walk quickly by and decline people trying to get me to sign up for an NRA membership. Other than that the store is nice and if you are a camper there are some cool items to check out.

Love to go here they are dog friendly to my dog loves it the water falk is so cool and the hunting game upstairs is to much fun but it's really run down now it has no water fall half the things you shot don't work anymore they got rid of some of the things in it but otherwise I love coming here and getting hunting gear and stuff for fishing

Don't bother going here for anything gun related. The gun counter staff are arrogant and disrespectful. Went in knowing exactly what optic I wanted, ($1700) there was probably 7 people behind the counter 5 of which were just standing around just talking with each other, when I was finally able to get one guys attention, and told him the scope I wanted to purchase, he rolled his eyes and said "you have to check in at the kiosk" I asked what he meant, and pointed out that 5 different staff including himself weren't even doing anything, and he said "doesn't matter, no one's going to help you until you check in at the kiosk" then he just walked away. I brought it up to the staff at the checkout counter and he just said "yeah that's how they are back there" At this point I remembered the last couple times (years apart) I've been in to this cabelas gun counter, and had a terrible experience. I'm never coming back. This is why retail is dead.

If you are wanting anything outdoors, good chance you will find it here. Fishing aquarium and a very large collection of taxadermy animals.

We as a family always enjoy a stroll around Cabelas. We always make a point to visit the fish and all the other wildlife.My kids oddly like the elevator too 😆🤷🏻‍♀️.During the Christmas season we always get a photo with Santa. Cabelas provides 1 free professional image along with tons of little crafts and activities for the kiddos in holiday workshop.

We didn't encounter many staff, though they were there, and the ones we did were helpful and knowledgeable about the questions asked. The store had recently opened for the day, so it was neat and fully stocked.I only give it 4 stars because there is so much to experience and my family was only there an hour so we could not try everything.This store is family-friendly and has a fun aquarium and many taxidermy animals that are well kept and fun to look at. So, even if you're not a hunter or fisherman, just checking out the wildlife is pretty awesome. As they have from mountain to safari set up and so much more around the store.

Horrendous experience. Went there to purchase a firearm just after getting my conceal carry and as the rang the ruger pistol up they decided to mark it up $30 out of nowhere, after that while I was filling out the paperwork to purchase said firearm the system messed up my paperwork and the clerk didn’t check my paperwork to make sure it was filled out properly so now I can never buy a firearm from any bass pro stores again, after calling cabelas to see if this mistake will prohibit me from buying firearms from other companies I was hung up on.
