Don't waste your time with Lampert in Rockford. I gave detailed drawings of the deck we were resurfacing to Troy. He provided the quote and we paid and had Lampert deliver. We received about half of the material we needed for the project. Lampert initially tried to blame us as Troy claimed he does "dozens of these per week". Turns out it was his fault and while Lampert did give us a significant discount on the remainder of the product we needed we would have never used Lampert from the beginning given the total cost of the project overall. As others have stated they're generally rude and ignorant to deal with. Don't waste your time, Lampert in Rockford is horribly managed and their employees act like they have better things to do than help customers.

Terrible experience. Ordered lumber to build a large deck for an event we had relatives and friends flying from all over the country to be at. Couldnt get them to call back to simply make payment. Had a crew scheduled two weekends in a row then they tell me it will be delivered the following week, Wow. The higher ups dont even return my calls either? Needless to say we have to now hold this event in our front yard and garage. So embarrassing. Stay away from this place! Very unprofessional to say the least!

What is with this place? I have called numerous times and get the run around and no return calls when trying to get some help with a Marvin window replacement. Marvin should consider not allowing them to represent their product because they are terrible. It is sad that one has to work so hard to want to do business with a company only to get blown off! They earned their ONE STAR and should be proud. Sorry....

I called in to check on the status of a package they sent me and the guy who answered the phone was blatantly rude and unhelpful. He said had too many lines going to help me. Then said, "well what do you want?" Then abruptly stops me mid-sentence and transfers me to a dead end. I can't speak to any other aspect of their operations, but even just asking a simple question on my first call was an abysmal interaction.

Avoid drywall delivery from this company. Purchasing materials from Lamperts is no better than using Menards. Five out of my six orders were all messed up, nobody wants to take responsibility for messing up the orders and when I asked for a credit to reimburse my workers time they told me they would only pay me 1/4 of what I need.

Representative I spoke with acted like he was inconvenienced by having to answer a couple questions. Real poor attitude. Just rude.Wouldnt ever do any sort of business with them again if thats how they treat their customers.

Go elsewhere. This is a Mickey mouse operation. Unqualified to supply roofing products for sure. Dishoneat. Sent out wrong products. New Product delivered was damaged. My a.m. delivery came at 1pm when I was told 10am. Go anywhere but here.

They are almost never open. The ONE time I went there, I ended up having to go to Menards' anyway because they don't have much to offer in the first place. I wish they'd just close and let someone ELSE open there, like maybe a grocery store or really anything that is open AT LEAST SIX DAYS PER WEEK! Save yourself some time and go to Menards or Home Depot. This ends up just being an extra stop along the way otherwise.
