I was in yesterday just to get a few products, Barb greeted me as soon as i walked in and helped and guided me towards everything i needed, she had some good recommendations too! She was very lovely and sweet and patient, that was amazing customer service! I hope she can see this so i can say thank you again!

I'm reviewing specifically the photo department - - my fiancé and I recently got engagement photos professionally taken and we originally had them printed at Walmart and we were very unhappy (blurriness and impurities). We then ordered through Shutterfly to pick up at Walgreens and they are flawless!! The colors are better and the sharpness of the picture is incredibly more clear!Walgreens copy is on the left.Walmart copy is on the right. (It's so dark!) 👎

We found out on our way to Mayo Clinic that his Primary Care Physician had responded to a message with a new prescription. Since we wanted to start it right away, we stopped at this Walgreens for help. The pharmacist was very helpful and was able to fill the prescription within 10 minutes. He accessed the information from the Walgreens system without a problem. We got pain relief now instead of waiting five days before returning home. Very happy with the service! Thank you!

Stopped out of convenience. But their prices were not convenient for my wallet. This last purchase only solidified my opinion that Walgreens is completely overpriced and never THAT convenient.

Very understaffed location. There have been multiple instances where there is no one on the floor to ask for help and when you wait for a cashier, they cannot help you. Came in to purchase a product that was listed in stock and could be ordered for pickup. Wasn't on shelves so asked up front if it was in the back. I was informed that it was in the back but that they didn't have the manpower to go through the whole bins for it. Then I asked if I ordered it for pickup since it's in stock would that make a difference? The cashier informed me that it would not make a difference "it still would be several days to wait until it was taken out of the back". So are things in stock or aren't they? To me it sounds like they didn't *want* to go look for the item and just stand there at the register for the rest of their shift- making up a lame excuse so that it didn't have to be their problem.

Prescription wasn’t ready after I received a call from them telling me it was ready for pickup. I came back the next day to pick it up and they gave me someone else’s prescription. Will try getting my prescription for the third time today and then I’m transferring to a different pharmacy. Unacceptable customer service!

Med City Walgreens Doesn't Have Much Stuff. THANK YOU, MAYOR NORTON AND LET'S ALL BUILD BACK BETTER! You Rochester Democrat elites wanted this... you voted for this... congrats, we all lost.

Ordered photos online for in-store pickup. My gift card would not scan. The first employee was kind and tried to help, but didn’t know how to solve the problem, sending me to her coworker, Matt. Matt was so helpful, kind, and patient. He went above and beyond to ensure the issue was fairly solved. Happy customer.

Atrocious customer service. Store did not honor sale prices, forced customer to pay online and pick-up another time, despite literally holding product purchases in-hand.

Location works well for us. Drive-up pharmacy is generally staffed with caring and compassionate, knowledgeable professionals. Patience is key because when we get to the window they treat us as if we are the only people they care about. Usually it is a super fast transaction but if more help is needed they get the expert needed to meet our needs. This despite a huge turnover of personnel. Seldom will we find the same person more than two or three times. The photo staff is top notch but sometimes I need to call the store to find the person working there even though I am standing at the counter. Multitaskers off in another department. The front registers I have not used since the pandemic except once and that person was new and had incorrect information. Others got it fixed up for us OK. They decline business to keep people safe. For example, we used to be able to get store merchandise through the drive-up when picking up prescriptions. Now they won't do that because of testing that they do. We go to a less crowded place to get the same or similar items. We would have to drive around the building to get a spot to have the items brought to the car otherwise.

I went to this location to pick up some groceries and printed photos recently. When I was there, it was very busy - I don’t blame the staff for the longer wait times to check out; they clearly seemed to be doing the best they could. I don’t normally go to Walgreens, so I decided to check out with my grocery items at the main checkout first, because I didn’t know if they would allow me to pay for the items at the photo counter. So I did that and then walked to the photo area - no one was at the counter when I got there. After a minute or two of waiting, the manager came over with 3 other customers offering to check them out at the photo counter as the other cashiers working had a long line. The manager got behind the photo counter to give me my photos, hands them to me, and then starts getting ready to ring up the customer who was in line behind me. I told her “I haven’t paid for these photos, I have to go to the back of the line just to pay for these?” Her response was yes, I did because she had brought the other customers over to help them. (?? And you’re not going to just quickly help me, who already was here before any of these other people, and who is standing right in front of you?) I was so flabbergasted I just went to the back of the line. At this rate I really wanted to be done here and go home, but I desperately needed these pictures for my child’s school project. I had to go to the back of the line to pay for my pictures when I was the first in line. Someone please explain the logic in that. Again, I am sure they are really busy and this is not an unfair criticism expecting them to remedy longer wait times with so many staffing shortages during the pandemic, but I *was* still expecting common sense and common courtesy. If you have a customer at the front of the line ready to checkout, don’t tell them they have to go to the end of the line to pay so someone behind them can be helped first. It seems sillier and sillier the more I think about it. This was...downright odd and poor customer service.

I called to transfer a prescription for my daughter and the person on the end of the phone was extremely rude. She was complaining on how much work it would be to transfer the prescription to their location because the place it was coming from would be hard to get a hold of and it would take several days. She repeated this many times. I was asked why I was using the pharmacy that I am transferring from because "most people only use that when they have many prescriptions and not just one". At the end of the call, she reminded me again how this could take a long time to refill and I told her to cancel the order because clearly this was an inconvenience for her. She said, ok, and hung up on me.

I went in exhausted, as I don't usually wake up in the morning (I work at night). I was just looking to see if they would carry the medicine I needed( (in Texas they had it). which they ended up not having it, and I had to go buy it at Target. The employee judged my looks (thanks, I know I don't look great) and deemed me a thief. I emptied my two pockets that only carried my phone and wallet. I felt how unwelcome I was and told her I just needed the name of my medicine. which I kind of needed as it was an emergency. Nonetheless, she was still condescending. I was only in for a minute or two, just to check in real quick. This short experience was more than enough for me to never go back. I would highly recommend it to others too, as I don't want someone to be rudely judged as I.

Despite having limited employees, the few I encountered were very helpful and enjoyable. Barb was knowledgeable of the beauty products, store policies such as returns and purchase points and always kept a smile on her face. I would definitely recommend this store to others in the area!

Zoe is amazing!!!! She took the time to help me use my coupons so that I could save money! She was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and personable especially on Christmas Eve! It is my new favorite Walgreens spot :) she deserves a raise!

I'm a pregnant Trans person. I look like a male.I went through the drive thru to pick up my prenatals as I have been for the last 7 months without problems. I told her my name, she had me repeat it twice and confirm the prescription that I was picking up (I have never had to confirm the prescription before, they just tell me I have 1 ready). She goes to grab it and when she comes back there is another girl with her. She asked me about my phone number, my DOB, and if it was a new prescription at all, all while her coworker was behind her giving me a stare down. I have only ever been asked about my address. She finally tells me how much it'll be and I give her my card. It takes her 2 minutes to swipe my card (pretty sure she was trying to confirm the name on the card too). I did finally get my prescription, but all of that for prenatals? I would understand if they were opiods, but to ask that many questions for a supplement I can get over the counter really upset me. I left feeling humiliated and angry since she decided to grab a coworker to come look at me too. I've had better experiences at the walgreens in Austin MN. I will not be returning to this location unfortunately.

Staff and store very good, it's just too bad corporate is so clueless about things that actually help the customers and not waste their time with over communication about insignificant things. It took nearly an act of congress to get senseless texts and phone calls stopped. Not everyone wants everything auto refilled and then 4 robocalls a day about scrips needing pickup.

It’s too bad I even had to select a one star because I don’t even wanna do that! I’m very disappointed in Walgreens tonight the manager (Jeannie) that you have representing your store is very rude, disrespectful and does not have good customer service skills! Please ask amongst your employees I sure they all have a lot to say! You need to replaced her immediately! The situation I had with her was due to your company not stocking the right charger in the correct spot! The item rang up differently and she interrupted the Asian guy helping me with situated it with some smart responses and once I replied back she kicked me out of the store and threaten to call the police on my 11 year old daughter and I!!! Can’t believe such a bad person you have working for you!!! So sick!! We did not do anything WRONG! I Won’t ever be returning if she works for you and I will be telling all about my experience to everyone I know! Looks like you have more Customers complaining on these reviews about her as well!!! Can’t you hear your customers?? This is disgusting Walgreens !

I placed an online appointment for covid testing at this location. Arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to be told that their covid's testing was down and that they had called everyone. Problem is their system was still letting people book so they didn't do the due diligence to make sure it wasn't taking appointments or to check and make sure no one else had booked. The worst part of about it there was no sincerity in terms of the apology for the inconvenience. They were also completely unwilling to just check with their other location to see if there was any openings. "What do you expect us to do?". You can just drive over there and check.

Heartless manager with no common sense or decency. During a nationwide formula shortage, they HAVE formula, and have had it in stock for over 24 hours, admit they have it, yet simply refuse to put it out on their shelf. They flat out tell customers they have other tubs that are going to be unloaded first and they will get around to it whenever. Feeding babies should be more of a priority than bath wash and Qtips.

I made a regular visit to update my prescriptions at the pharmacy. The pharmacy has and still is very professional and friendly. But when they needed help they called over the p.a. system for assistance. And the "lead" person at the time from the next aisle with a co-worker say "wait in line" as the other said "take a number" I find this to be the worst way to treat a customer and I bet they wouldn't take kindly if it was either of them in my position. Alicia was the name of the lead person who was no help to the pharmacy what-so ever. I believe she is not adult enough to handle her job.

Two stars might be too much. I verified that a prescription with Olmsted Medical was sent at 6:07p. I arrive at 6:30p and they claim they had not received it. I don't believe the two people I talked fully understood me because I had to repeat myself about 6 times and then write it down for them.

Virtually unreachable by phone. Was told I was next in line, only to be put on 3 different holds. Waited 20 minutes before hanging up. When I called back, I was told there were 2 other people in front of me. It would appear that they just booted me from the queue and gave my place to others.Take your business elsewhere.

Customer service is great. However, over the last year the quality of photos from the photo lab has gone downhill. I've tried multiple times over the last year hoping it was a machine or toner issue and after returning almost my whole order today I will be going elsewhere moving forward. It's sad because I've used this same lab for years and never had a problem until recently...

Obviously new management. Went 5/2020I come from the cities. No affiliation to WG's.I come to care for my 82 year old Mother. The products sold are new. Not old, recycled. I buy sale items and much better than Walmart. The new manager has taken this store under control with a new philosophy. The customer service here is ingrained. The employee, Aisha explained customer service is what she was taught and emphasized by her manager. My Mom is blind and can't hear. Aisha deserved a gold medal the way she treated her trying to help her find a back brace. She said the manager told her they were a team and she was taught to help people like they were family.Well...Aisha did treat us like family and I like any Walgreens manager hiring and teaching kids this kind of customer service. They don't just get it...this kind of managerial skill and a young person, Aisha, that gives it EARNED our business.I heartily recommend this store.Touche to you Walgreens for hiring and keeping people like this to represent Walgreens.Thank you.

Visited this store twice and every employee I encountered was very friendly! An RR didn’t print out for one of my eligible transactions and the cashier assisting me was quick and friendly in resolving the issue - even though she technically didn’t have to as that’s normally an issue that Catalina customer service handles!

They made it easy for me to refill my prescripions from Walgreens, AZ, to their site. I highly recommend this Walgreens. I plan to continue utlilizing their services.Thank you,Rhonda

Larger of the two locations in town, also has a larger variety of products. Although certain departments maybe smaller then the North location, and stores may not always have the exact same products. For example styles, colors, and even prices may differ by a small amount. Three stares is based sole on customer service, because both locations over all lack customer service skills. Instead of every employee going above and beyond for every customer, it is 100% based on what employee is helping you.
