I have been bringing my dogs to Cascade for a few years now. I always recieve great customer service from the staff working at the front desk. The vet staff are very knowledgable and I feel my pets are well cared for. I would recommend to my freinds and family!

I have never been to an animal clinic that is so caring and considerate. Everything is clean and organized. Treating my dog respectfully os priceless. I bring my chihuahua here since 2014. They are always gentle and provide the best medical care with excellence, even though Luna is feisty sometimes. Also a great place for nail trim, bath and others.Luna was spayed here and the recover was perfect! No scars, no pain, full assistance when she was home with me…You may find cheaper places, and I tried that, but i decided to go back to VCA. For example, the other place gave me a non signed rabies certificate. It is alright, we’re all humans here! Nevertheless when I called asking for a signature they said they can’t sign! Plus, when I had then giving Luna a bath, she came back all wet, and they lost her personal items (harness and leash!).I am happy with VCA and also happy about the plans they provide.

We’ve been taking my childhood dog here since she was a puppy and her recent appointment was sad to hear about. She’s elderly (16) and my parents took her in because she’s been experiencing confusion and frequent accidents. Instead of getting help and advice for her situation, my mom received judgement from both the new vet and her tech about the care of her teeth, nails, and grooming. She’s older and they just want to make sure that she’s happy. She’s a very well-loved dog and it breaks my heart that your staff assumed anything else. My parents were both offended by the visit and will be looking for a new vet that specializes in the care of older dogs and doesn’t pass judgement onto the owners. I completely understand that as a vet, the pet comes first but it is crucial to seek first to understand. I was so sad to hear this about the vet office that has always done right by our sweet dog.

We love and trust Cascade. However, they decided to use their Euthanasia room for techs to give shots. If you have put down a pet before or have an elderly pet, it’s the last place you want to be. There’s a bowl for the last meal and a container of Hershey kisses with a message along the lines of “every dog should taste chocolate before the die.” They have you wait in there. The tech then comes in with a syringe to inject your fur-baby with. You speak up just to make sure that it’s for an annual shot and not euthanasia. I gave feedback to tech but didn’t feel it would go anywhere. I won’t be going back to that room unless it’s time for puppy heaven. Make sure to speak up if this would be upsetting to you. There are plenty of other rooms.

The girls absolutely love VCAs daycare and boarding. They always come home sleepy after a day of playing (see attached) and they can’t wait to go in the morning. “Daycare” is one of the few words we can use to get them to come inside.The folks working there are fantastic. The girls get so excited when they see the staff in the morning.

Pretty much let me dog suffer by saying he’s fine and gave him a little medicine and he died within the next few weeks. Also horrible vets disrespectful, all they care for is money maybe we got a bad vet there but she is really awful!

The staff here are very friendly and have provided really good service. However, the cost of their services is completely unreasonable. A basic exam was more than triple what we have paid at other vets. They also talk you into doing unnecessary tests and treatments that I’ve never been told to do at other veterinary offices. We did their annual care plan to cover the cost of the initial visit and it really wasn’t that worthwhile. We are going to be switching to a local place with more reasonable prices and services.

When I brought Mollie in to get her checked out little did know that was the last time I'd be with her. The staff was very comforting in giving me emotional support that I needed. They were very heartfelt with knowing the outcome I was facing. Mollie was a joy in my life and the staff gave me the time that I needed with Mollie. Rest in peace little girl.

Have had great experiences here every time. Everyone is very happy and helpful when I am there. They even took us to a special room that is set up really nice for when my boxer had to cross the rainbow bridge because of cancer and seizures. This room was away from all the noise and gave me time to say my final goodbyes and I love yous and give my big boy some final hugs and kisses. They are great people!

We are new to the area and we’re referred to VCA by our kids who take their pets there. I loved it, as they showed real concern and appreciation for my sweet older dog. I was nervous as my dog has not been to the vet in a while, Dr Meisch put us 100% at ease. Thanks so very much for a super pleasant experience..

Their phone system has glitches and they have been working on this for over a year and their fax has been down for over a month. All I needed was a refill for my dogs prescription and I can’t even get anybody to call the pharmacist. All they gave me was excuses about their email system, their phone system and the fax. I have been trying to get this for 4 days and now the Dr. Is in surgery and cannot do anything right now. They hope to have it today! My dog now has gone without meds for 2 days. She is the one suffering for their lack of concern and follow through.Horrible customer service!This was me giving them a second chance after leaving years ago…Ok, shame on me for giving you a second chance. Done with Cascade!Bring your pet here if you want to deal with terrible service and to suffer.

We made reservations to board our diabetic cat over a month in advance. We were told that they could care for him and administer insulin and we were quoted the regular daily rate (around $25). Fully 26 hours after dropping him off, we get a call saying that we can either pay the daily medical rate ($63) + have a health exam with their vet or come pick him up. We were already hundreds of miles away (thus the reason we were boarding our cat) so we had to accept the rate and the medical exam (whatever costs that would incur, which ended up being over $150 in unexpected medical expenses from the exam and twice daily blood glucose tests). This all would have been acceptable if it had been communicated. From the beginning, a diabetic cat should have been quoted the medical board rate and we should have been told about the requirement to have a medical exam by their vet. We should have been called about the necessity to give twice daily blood glucose tests. The care he was given was surely adequate but the lack of communication was unprofessional, unreliable, and gives me pause about ever returning or recommending their services.Edited to add: Responded to the manager as requested. Received no response.

I love Cascade! Cascades well I am not sure what they are call at Cascade but I will call them Wellness plans are perfect. They are way better than Banfields.They may be more expensive but you get way better services. I was amazed that I actually got digital radiographs of my dogs dental. I’ve never seen that before and they caught things that my previous rural vet where I lived in WI missed. Dr Meish is amazing. She explains every. They let you come in when you are worried if you find a lump and you don’t have to pay for an exam and to check on an ear ache too. They’ve taken such care of my 9 year old fur baby. When I get my next toy schnauzer, I’ll be bring her to her!

A typical corporate vet clinic and they are very nickel and diming. I called to ask when annual vaccinations were due and they directed me to make an appointment.Also when you adopt a pet at paws and claws, you get an included vet visit. They are very aware at VCA of the business relationship with the non-profit. When you go to bring in your animal, they will charge you for the full visit, as what happened in our case. I had to have them process a refund transaction because they had charged it to my card already. This is not the first time I have heard of that happening. Others coming from adopting have started the same - that they have "accidentally" charged them for the full exam before they said something.Not very honest for the first experience at this place.

I have been taking our animals to Cascade for over 30 years. Mainly dogs but also 2 cats and 1 Koi. I trust them completely. They are very professional. knowledgeable and caring. My animals have always received the best of care with Cascade...The entire Staff at Cascade has always been very professional, friendly and caring to all our needs..Our animals are part of our family and deserve the best, which is what they receive at Cascade. We brought our cat in for teeth cleaning and she need a few teeth extracted. We were given a low to high estimate and they went over the estimate by $50. I paid $651 for this process. The best part is they left an IV in her leg. How does that happen? They should not have allowed her to be checked out with an IV still in her. I called and no one seemed to care and the all vet could tell me was “my bad”. I will never bring either of my animals back to this place and would advise others to stay away as well.

Was very pleased with our experience at Cascade Animal Medical Center. The vet that saw our cat took the time to answer questions and explain what was going on thoroughly. She showed a lot of care toward our pet and our situation. I also greatly appreciated that she spent extra time after closing with our cat to finish the examination. I would recommend Cascade to anyone.

I had to make the very hard choice to put my elderly dog to sleep. They were so patient and kind, answered all my questions and even held onto my other dog until it was time to say goodbye. There was no rush to be done and they let us say goodbye in our own time. They loved on my old fellow like they had known him forever and like he was their own. Thank you from me and McGee.

When I took my cat originally they were great. I was told there would be a tooth that needed to be removed and the cost would be around $500 after his initial appointment.When I got there for his procedure I was quoted $690-$1000. If I was told this initially I would have waited to come in so I could save more. I had to leave because I couldn’t afford it.

If you re considering them as your vet clinic, know that they will let you down right when you truly need them. Very very disappointing with their lack of empathy and responsiveness.

Took my cat in yesterday, she was so nervous and hiding when we came in but our vet(I cant remember his name but an older gentleman) was so gentle and made her feel so comfortable. very professional appointment and they were able to diagnose and get me affordable and great treatment for her!

$65 deposit turns out to be nonrefundable once you cancel appt. No disclosures or communication on this. Obviously they need it more than me. Only needed to get Koda's shots up to date but I will wait for my trusted and loyal vet clinic. They even referred me here to get Koda in sooner for his shots. $65 lesson learned.

one of the worst vets i’ve ever been to. my dog came home from boarding with an injured paw & they made me pay for her medicine. for some reason they had to sedate my kitty just to groom her. she is a long haired cat but she shouldn’t be sedated at 9 years old. that’s just dangerous.

I brought my cat in for a 2nd opinion, worse decision ever. Dr. Meisch wasn’t very polite and made made poor choices on how to treat my cat. First she prescribed a medication hoping it’d work, which it didn’t which was understandable. Then she prescribed another and basically overdosed my cat, she was barely responsive and couldn’t move or walk. I was very disappointed, the front desk was very helpful but unfortunately I will not be returning or would recommend to anyone.

I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone. I received an estimate for the services we were supposed to be receiving that ended up being almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS off of what we were told we were going to be paying. Sterilization, vaccines, and declaw with 30 extra charges we were never told about. Not to mention they talked to my partner like he was stupid and made him feel awful for asking to schedule another appointment when we can better afford all of the services. We will not be returning to this establishment, I'm extremely disappointed in how we were treated.

Really great staff; they helped out very much and were kind and considerate! My van broke down in their parking lot, and they even helped with calling tow-trucks and mechanics too! They clearly care about people and animals, and of course, they have a convenient vet very, very close! Love the church-pew architecture of the vet!

If you have anything but a cat or dog, do not waste your time going here. Had absolutely no idea how to diagnose my bird. Had a theory, but still didn't have any medicine in stock to even give her. Absolutely terrible experience!!! If zero stars were possible I would rate it that. My wife called and found the medicine my bird needed 2 miles away, where this vet said they couldn't get it.

Got an estimate for a cytology which was 42 dollars for two. After thinking it over, we made an appointment and were slapped in the face with one cytology of 98 and the other of 200. (Because it costs 200 to have it examined or send out? ..ok). They always seem worse than a car dealership as far as just trying to force upsells for things. We came in for a cytology, and you want us to do a, b , c , and d. Thought maybe it was only happening with our puppy, but brought in my 10 hear old dog yesterday and they were pushing even worse. Dr. Meisch ( hope that is correct) you are the only bright spot within this organization. Keep up your great work. We unfortunately will not be back as for some reason every time we swing in, we end up paying for a 200 to 400 dollar bill. My 10 year olds dogs vaccinations throughout his life has cost me less than $800.00 through Winona vet. They clip his nails for free with an appt, and he is only charged for one wellness exam a year, NOT ONE EVERY VISIT! The puppy vaccines for my younger pup alone through you have costed 650, where quoted 200 to 300 at all other locations. What a disgrace and showing of pure robbery. ALSO, SARAH MUELLNER, YOU TALK DOWN TO YOUR GUESTS WITH SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL DEMEANOR THAT IT MAKES THE ENTIRE COMPANY LOOK BAD. IF THE PRICES WERE EVEN FAIR, WE WOULD STILL NOT BE RETURNING SIMPLY BECAUSE OF YOU.
