Bought a go cart less than a year ago. Went over there. People standing around not doing much of anything but collecting a paycheck. Asked about the go cart and cashier was gruff with me. Payed for the cart and she said its outside. I went around the side and when i got there she had the go cart on the fork lift. I looked at it and the box was all ripped up, pieces of cardboard falling off all over. I requested another one without damage to the box and go cart. She said the others were a lot worse off than this one. I looked at the rest of them and there was no cardboard on any of them. I said to load it as i already paid for it. We took it home and found parts missing, seat faded, seat belts faded from sitting in the sun too many months. I called the manager of the store and he just said bring it back and he would give me 50.00 for my time.. Now remind you that I just drove for 3 hours round trip to get this cart and i remind you my time is worth money including gas to go to tractor supply in the first place so I said i would like the seat and belts replaced and never heard from him. That has been about 11 months ago. I give reviews where they are needed and most of them are 5 stars but this one deserves what it is. Straighten up your stores, show some respect to the customers and go over and above the job you were hired for unless you were hired to sit around and talk gruff to customers. There are a lot of other places to go to buy products-the same products that you people sell and I am sure people have done the same thing. Moved on from a bad experience. The saying is it can take a lifetime to find a good customer and just a moment to lose one. Sad but true.

If you need help finding something this is not the store you want,2 different employees walk by me and didn't ask if I needed help they weren't doing anything except going up front to stand and chat with cashier. When i checked out I told them it's been dark for over a hour and their hiway sign was not on they just giggled.1. Sign not on ,people end up down at fleet-farm! I believe they carry just about everything you do.2. Instead of standing around chatting why not face the shelves in that messy store. Or maybe check overstock and stock 🤔 if your doing this you have a chance to help customers and maybe increase sales.3. by asking customers to help you have a chance to upsale or suggestive sale. By not doing this you have none.Being a retired retail manager in my opinion at this store your wasting payroll. I was at this store on 12-14-2023 at 6:40pmThe reason I said anything about the sign, I am from out of town and drove right by the store the first time.

We had bought a sprayer for a UTV and the pump went bad. They called the company and ordered a pump for us and took care of the warranty. They were very good to work with. Not sure how to spell his name correctly but I will try to get close- Joshiah? Sorry if I butchered it. He was very helpful. Thank you again.

I enjoy shopping at the Rochester, MN because of the clothing choices they have. Their tops for plus size for summer really fit comfortable. T-Shirts and jeans for my son are mostly available. Prices are very reasonable. The biggest reason I shop there is the customer service is the best. Always willing to go that extra mile. Thanks a million.Our chickens, ducks and 1 Turkey are all grown up.

Staff is extremely nice. Most of the time I go in there to look at the baby chicks. The rest of the store I don't really care for, but that's okay. I really love the shirts that have chickenisms on them.

I am so grateful to an employee named Monica. I had been unable to order from the internet and she took extra time working with her store manager to get the item I had been trying to buy. The staff at the Rochester MN store is always so friendly and helpful. I have a good experience every time I shop there.Thank You, Brenda R.

Love getting my propane filled rather than paying the exchange prices, but the employees at this location need some work starting with the Store Manager Nikki.. During the colder months I always call first before showing up and it's nothing but lies, wrong information, and sheer lack of professionalism from all but maybe 2 of employees. When I express my concerns, there's no care. Attitude from every other employee having to go outside to do the job they signed up for, and the Store Manager telling wrong information on whether the propane is running properly or not.. Best of all when you ask the employees here what they think of the Store Manager, you'd think the folks higher up would want someone in there running a better circus.

I love this store! they have the stuff Fleet Farm never does, for my dogs and horse, and garden, and even nice affordable clothing in practical materials and styles for me! Staff are always friendly and helpful,the store is a nice size, and easily navigated, and the prices are usually quite reasonable.

I am conflicted in reviewing this store.I have always found what i needed here, and at a fair price.Yet the store is too small to have a good selection of items IMO, most times its easier to simply go straight to fleet farm and find everything you need at one time.The customer service has been hit and miss at times.I will continue to be a customer, i just wish TSC would either expand this location or build a second location on the north end of Rochester.

The staff at tractor supply was friendly and helpful. I first called in the phone to check if fence staples were in such and they where able to help me out. When I showed up they helped me select the right materials for my project.I had to take one star of because of the smell and the general disorganized look of the store. The middle of the store had items randomly arranged and made it difficult to walk through.

Perfect store for farming supplies. Not the biggest but has all the necessary items. Toy can order online and have the stuff delivered to the store for pickup. Has a good selection of chicken supplies which other stores don't have. Good prices as well. Reasonable

Waited inside to buy a truck box. Not a single person came to help me at customer service desk. Second time there. First time they were out of stock of truck box mounting j hooks. This visit, 4 weeks later, they have not restocked them. Im disgusted. They have lost all my current and future business. Employees also had no idea what a truck box mounting kit was. Yikes.Update: called phone number like this reply said. After finding out how to talk to a rep(its buried in 10 minutes of automated menus), and then being on wait for 15 minutes, they could not figure out why I was calling. It took multiple attempts to finally have them connect me with someone at that store. They also did not understand and I had to explain why I called. Then, they basically did nothing. And that was it. Sad to see business run this way.

I bought some parts washer solvent today and it's the good ole fashioned stuff. Cleans grease and grime very well! Makes your hands tingle afterwards. Service still needs improvement.

Awesome I started going there when I needed to get my tank for the grill filled. Back left corner of store has great clearance items. You will need them sooner or later. Can’t go wrong here

The low rating is a result of a generally messy environment...especially outside. Parking lot is in poor condition and there’s lack of order to the products in display. Inside could use a deep cleaning and some order. All would make for a better shopping experience.

Rachel knocked it out of the park for me.Bought Cub Cadet over phone sight unseen from her because she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 2 hour drive to pick it up and Rachel jumped on the forklift and put it in the back of my pickup and I was driving away 15min later. The place smell funny. The cashier seemed cool. Customer service decent, answered the phone quickly. They say lowest prices around. Not the case, didn't bother to ask about any price matching policies, I could be ignorant.

A really disappointing experience. I bought a Toro riding mower from them for $4100. We called to see if they had it in stock, but they didn’t know and told us to check online. The website said that it would need to be delivered to the store and to expect delivery in two days. I bought the mower and a few minutes later, received an email saying it was ready for pickup. We had to get a friend with a trailer to come into to to help us pick it up. I called the next afternoon to confirm pick up the next day. When we arrived the mower wouldn’t start. They put gas in it and it still wouldn’t start. Then the changed the battery and it still wouldn’t start. We ended up leaving the mower there and cancelling the order. It would’ve been nice had someone checked the thing before confirming the sale or at least had it ready for us to pick up. We wasted our time and our neighbor’s time.

Everyone so very helpful. Helped me carry some things to my car. Has the BEST HEAVY FLANNEL SHIRTS . ( not the flimsy thin flannel you see other places.)Schmidt work clothes were the brand i bought for my son. Doesn’t shrink when dried in med. My son just loves them.

Very nice store. All of the Fence stuff at TSC is cheaper the Fleet Farm and very nice selection! Great quality chicks in the spring time. I've had great luck with all my chickens that I've bought from TSC. Also all of the Chicken supply's is much cheaper then Fleet Farm. Great place to shop!

Employees did not seem familiar with the store, even though this tractor supply company is a smaller store. Was looking for baler twine and neither employees that I spoke to had any idea where it was and thought it would be outside. Online it shows that it is in stock. Found a used baler twine by the door and an employee says that is forced or purposes only, and then proceeded to tell me that they probably didn't have it. So when exiting the building the exit door stops halfway and hits me in the knee and chest. They should probably get that fixed before someone who is Sue happy comes after them.
