Our dog has been staying at K9 since he was a puppy and he went to boarding school there as well. The people are really nice and he loves it!! He's so excited to go spend the weekend with his friends and daycare parents.

I took my dog here to be groomed. I am new to the area and needed to find a new groomer. I read the reviews and felt confident this would be a positive experience. . . it was NOT!When I went to pick him up I was told he crapped all over the kennel they were holding him in and became aggressive, so they couldn't fully finish the job. The employee seemed annoyed and bothered. This reported behavior was surprising to me because my dog has NEVER acted aggressive or had accidents. He usually gets Kudos from groomers about how well behaved and friendly he is.I asked a couple of questions to understand what had happened exactly. The employee seemed bothered by my questions and was simply unkind and unfeeling.When they brought him out to me, my little man looked so scared, I started to cry for him! I have never seen him so scared and anxious before.If you want your dog to be handled roughly and without care, bring your dog here, otherwise go elsewhere!!To this day this experience makes me sick…

While issues can easily arise with pups, I would not recommend this kennel for boarding. I left my 3 year old golden retriever for 4 nights and picked him up with a large hot spot (approx 4 in x 4 in)that NO ONE in the kennel was aware was even there, much less addressing. (It was easily visible on his back.) It was infected by this time. K9 kennels called me to see how he was doing only to try to pass the blame to me saying “it was probably there when he was dropped off.” No, it wasn’t.Weeks of a cone and several hundred dollars in vet bills and my guy is back to his old self. Again, if you want your pet looked after with care, this is not the right kennel for you.

Kevin and staff at K-9 Kennels are phenomenal! We have taken our mini goldendoodle to K-9 Kennels for 2 years now. She had all her training from Kevin, she’s loved her time in doggy daycare, boarding when we are out of town, and grooming visits. I highly recommend K-9 Kennels.

i took my dog Oakley here many years ago, we were going to Mexico for about ten days (the longest i had ever left my dog…)when i dropped him off i had a note with directions for him…figuring they were a smaller mom & pop kennel so i left a nice note, as well as directions for feeding…i then explained to them that he was a ‘free feed’ & they looked at me confused, then stated to me that the other dogs would get to his food…then i became confused (thinking…does is not have his own space to be able to eat, & sleep…?), but we were in quite a rush so we left in a hurry…not thinking a lot of it at the time.…ten days later, we returned from Mexico & found that when we went to pick Oakley up…he looked like he had lost about 10 lbs (his ribs were showing pretty extremely because he was already very lean naturally & did not have 10 lbs to lose the reason he is a ‘free feed’ also…), in addition his stuff was all full of hay…this lead me to believe that he slept in some sort of barn…with hay. it was the dead of winter. not only that, but Oakley is a Vizsla / English Setter & a very short-haired dog (not meant for bitterly cold conditions, sleeping in a barn in the mist of winter…) i had packed him a sweater, & they never so much as put it on him in the bitter cold…to this day this experience makes me sick…this entire facility needs to be shut down. it’s an absolute disgrace.i still feel an extreme amount of guilt for having not done my due diligence in looking into this facility. i was young & i trusted them because my mom knew the owners…BIG MISTAKE.DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE.💔

They're the only place I'd take my dog. He's typically shy and skitterish around people but he sees where he's at & he'll pull to get in to see his 2nd set of humans. It's a comfort to know I'll come back to a happy well cared for pup!

Please do yourself a favor and take a tour of the facility before committing your dog to it. When we toured, the outside play area looked okay but the inside kennels left much to be desired. The floors were dirt, wood chips were supposed to be put down but we never saw any. The wood stalls were dilapidated and the place smelled of damp earth. When I asked about a kitchen, I was told they have a "sink" where the food is prepared.I would not board my dogs there and I felt really sorry for the dogs that were in those kennels.

My active boarder collie pup goes to daycare everyday. She is SO excited in the morning knowing she's going to play with her friends! The kennel attendants are always friendly and professional, and Maya is always happy to see them in the morning. Kevin and Kris care about the animals in their kennel, making our dogs who have become family feel as much at home as possible. K-9 is always respectful of dogs who like to play, or not, and make arrangements as such. They have the dog's best interest at heart always. Highly recommend!

My dog has been going to the day care on a regular basis for over a year now, and he surely loves it! He's always excited to come in the morning and happily tired in the evening to go home. All the staff is very friendly and genuinely loves dogs. My dog is a snuggle bug and can be very clingy, and I think he has some of his favorite people there :). I also use their grooming service for my mini poodle and am very happy with it. knowing that poodle haircut is far from simple. Most importantly for me, the owners are kind and could be flexible which really helps me with giving good quality of life for my fur baby in between my busy work schedules. Thank you K9 Kennels !

We just boarded our dog here for three nights. We have boarded her elsewhere in the past, but decided to try here just because it was closer to our house. Besides here, we have only boarded her at one other place. K9 Kennels really set the standard high! Dropping her off and picking her up was a breeze, we had mentioned at drop off that she has never eaten in the past while she was boarded. They got her to eat! Super impressed. Both us humans and our dog love it here so we will be returning for future boarding.

We recently used K-9 Kennels this past week and a half. We took our 1yr old male pit King here for boarding. They are reasonably priced and includes food.The moment we got there, they were friendly and greeted King. We forgot our shot records and Kevin called over to our vet and verified so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back home to get them. We asked if we could take a tour of the property and they happily showed us around. From the play areas to the kennels themselves everything was clean and well taken care of. They were even flexible with us needing King to stay a few more days. When we picked up King. He was our same happy sweet boy and even a bit calmer. I even noticed King got his nails trimmed. Talk about going above and beyond!!! Only thing I would do different is bring King's food home instead of using theirs( changing food seem to upset King's stomach). we will definitely be bringing king back for training and doggy daycare.

I have been bringing my pup here for a few months. This boarding and daycare facility take great care of her each time. They separate the dog based on play style so my pup gets a lot of playtime in. She comes home tired and happy.

Wonderful, nice and kind people! My pup spends 3 days a week at the kennel and she absolutely loves it! She plays with other dogs so much that she comes home very tired but so happy! Highly recommend this kennel!

We had our two dogs boarded for Christmas weekend and we picked them up tonight. They were so happy and I'm pretty sure they played so much they slept for like 4 hours and they are still sleeping. I for sure will be coming back and I would differently suggest this place to anyone. The staff was friendly and supper nice. I like this place and so did my dogs. :)

We have been taking our dogs to k-9 for 30 years. The dogs always liked going to the kennel. The staff are great! My wife got into a car accident once with the dogs in the car and Kevin from K9 came and got the dogs while she went to the hospital.

I have been using them for over 2 years both for boarding and grooming. They have always given great service. I have gotten to know then and know they will not give anything but great care to my dog or any dog that comes in. I will not use anyone else.These bad reviews I read are just absurd!
